OK, that's much better, but not sure Drew Allar is much of a running threat, at least not if the shifty variety. Kansas' offense is essentially a new aged option offense with great passing concepts mixed in. I havent been impressed with Drew Allar all season. He was clearly a 5 star based on his physical traits and not on his ability to play QB.

That’s absolutely the case with Aller. He shows flashes of what he can do, but he mostly looked like the next Hackenberg this season.

Kotelnicki talks a lot about calling an offense based on the players he has rather than a system he wants to run. But idk what else he would say. We’ll see how that goes next year.

Perhaps, but he didn't have a great year.  Only 15 tackles and 4 sacks.  The point is that the way he's been playing this year, he's not a huge loss for this game.

Psu lead the country in sacks this season and got 1 today. He got double teamed constantly. He was absolutely a loss for this game.

The bigger problem in this game tho is having a CB making his first start covering Harris.

Other problem is Psu offense being complete garbage. Game was over in the 3rd when Psu couldn’t keep their defense off the field b

If the guys sitting out are their best players on D they were already in trouble.  Unless I'm missing someone, Robinson, Dixon, and King are not exactly all-world players.

Chop is a top 5 pass rusher in the country and will be a 1st round pick, King will be a 2nd round pick. Dixon is good not great, don’t get him sitting. Carter is a sophomore and was having a great game before he got hurt.

What a second? Franklin looked at his troubled offense and thought to himself that Kentucky's offense was the answer.

    I meant Kansas. I’m drunk.

How do you go from just about beating Alabama to not even competing?

This is fucking embarrassing. Totally fucking embarrassing.

Gotta think games like this come down to the tone set by the coaches. So many times you see teams come out completely lifeless and other teams come out playing the game means something to them.

Pedo has already given up their season average for yards allowed but yeah, B10 defenses are great!

They also have their 3 best defensive players opting out. A top 5 pass rusher nationally and both starting CBs.

And now their 4th best defender left the game

But also they haven’t seen a play caller of this caliber. The two losses osu and um called a super safe vanilla game because they knew psu couldn’t score enough to win.

Think it's going to be another low-scorer. Penn State has a really good defense and matches up well against Ole Miss but their offense is putrid.

This is surly, big ten teams don’t really play defense, they are just paper tigers from playing inept offenses in the big ten.

yeah but Perez is a makes a great case - he likely earned 10-20x on LIV as he could on the Tour, so why not? He wasn't going to win a major, be in the Ryder Cup. Another good example, and I am waiting to see what happens with him, is James Piot; played at MSU, got hot and won the 2021 US Am, which got him into a couple of majors but he had no standing on any tour; so he says why not. Played the first 2 years, but nothing at all of significance, but he made $1.9 in 2022 and $2.2 million in 2023 (plus whatever he got for signing, rumored to be $2-3 million) but he got cut. So I am interested to see where he goes. He never had PGA Tour standing, so I don't think he was ever banned, but he will have to play a satellite tour and maybe some Monday qualifiers. But hopefully he banked 1/2 that money so he can afford to find a place somewhere.

I don’t disagree with any of that. And really, with pretty much every guy you can see why they went to LIV. the amounts of money that were being thrown at them just made it make too much sense. None of them were going for competition, or shotgun starts, or team golf. Just money, so I appreciated the guys that just came out and said it, because we could all see it.

  8. I’ve developed a fascination with hand marbled paper and went down a bookbinding rabbit hole, making a couple handmade journals for gifts.

I just made this box with some hand marbled paper from Brazil.
