I also don't see why everyone wants to rest starters - we still have to win to be the 5 seed. Isn't playing the AFC North champ the best path? Neither are that scary, compared to the 6 seed (hot ass Jax team) or 7 seed (Pats)

Just play to win every game…

As someone that worked briefly in the roofing biz, I'm surprised roofing hasn't come up more often in this thread.

While I would hesitate a little to call it a scam profession, it's definitely sketchy.  Very predatory, filled with aggressive, unethical canvasser/storm chaser dirtbags, and an industry rife with fraud.

Definitely agree in the case of the ‘free roof’ companies; you have to be leery of anyone who opens their pitch by telling you (without directly saying it) that they’re going to rip off your insurance company. Oh, but you’re going to do a high-quality, professional job on my roof and not fuck me over somehow too? Go fuck yourself…

We ran 62 offensive snaps in the game. Nico saw just 1/3 of the snaps and was missing on crucial game altering downs. Noel and Higgins who make huge plays when given the chance COMBINED were on the field for 1/3 of our offensive snaps.

Ah OK now that I hit the Twitter link I see the names associate with the totals; my bad.

But are those snaps based on all plays or just pass plays? Thus would suggest that we didn’t have a single WR/TE who played more than 1/3 of our total snaps, which doesn’t seem mathematically possible. Thinking it’s more likely that Nico ran routes on 24 of our 28 passing plays…

Locked in if we win next weekend, can move up if the Jags lose.

Not sure I want to face Lamar/Henry. We’d probably send Rodgers into hospice if we got the Steelers

    It don’t make a shit.

If we don’t turn the ball over and don’t have any pre-snap penalties on offense there’s not a team in the AFC that’s going to beat us…

So locked into the 7 seed pretty much no matter what? New England is a good match up for us, and we have something for Josh Allen. Need some weather luck.

At Pittsburgh sounds pretty damn good.

We are the #5 seed now…

  6. No CR but this insanely hot chick burned a lot of bridges with her support for animal rights at the height of her fame. Whether you agree with her or not, she was a fucking pioneer and put her beliefs in front of her earnings.

And oh by the way she was an all-time insanely hot piece of fucking ass…

I’m 50 and have never seen the Oilers or Texans advance to the AFC Championship Game. We are so fucking close that a few tweaks in offensive playcalling will get us there. Sorry for being impatient, I’d like to to see a Houston team in the Super Bowl once in my life and I have, absolute best case scenario, 25 years left before I croak.

Dude ‘a few tweaks’ ? You and a couple others cry out to fire the OC on every fucking drive we punt. Do you feel we have elite personnel on offense?

I shake my head about people who constantly bitch about this team and coaching. Y’all need to remember that Ryans inherited a team that was 11-38-1 in the previous 3 seasons and taken them to 31-19 and 3 playoff appearances during his tenure. Sure, this team has its warts but you have to admit to a job well done.

Too many people on this board have too much time invested in bitching to turn back now. Whatever man, this team is hard as a rock and easily the most likable this franchise has ever known…

For those few, almost to the point of extinction, Surlies who aren't cutting edge, state of the art, playoff picture studying fans, here's where Hou stands:

Looking at the standings, the only AFC team with any hope of pushing Houston out of the Wild Card would be the Colts, and they're two games back. The Colts also have to play Jacksonville (the team 1 game up on Houston) this weekend, so either the Colts will be knocked out of the playoffs, or Houston will move into a tie for first, assuming we beat the Chargers. We split with Jacksonville this year, 7 points each way.

The Chargers are 1-1/2 back of Denver, but guaranteed a playoff spot, so Hou might have a psychological advantage. Should be a great game TOMORROW (SAT) at 3:30pm ON THE NFL NETWORK.

I guess we could lose both remaining games, the second one being the Colts, and the Colts win two, but even then, for some unknown reason, sounds like we have the tie-breaker since ESPN gives us a 97% chance of making the playoffs. (2025 NFL playoff picture: Updated odds, seeds, draft order)

Yeah even if we lose our last two and the Colts win their last two the tiebreak would come down to strength of victory, and they’d need 6-7 games to go their way to swing that…

I’m ready to storm the team facilities to get rid of Caley. When you have a legit shot to make the Super Bowl, it’s criminal to have such an inept fool in charge of the offense. Have to keep the pressure up like the fans do in Philly. They just won a championship and their fans nonstop are calling for the head of their OC on WIP. I don’t hear the same mindset on the radio in Htown unfortunately.

Do you seriously think sports radio is going to make a difference in staffing of an NFL team?

It also doesn't help that Demeco loves FGs. If this wasn't true, Caley would no longer be calling plays.

lol at the beginning of the season all y’all were constantly crying when DeMeco would go for it on 4th down instead of taking the 3.

    Make up your fucking mind…

Jesus fucking Christ this team has won 7 games in a row with a flawed roster and you people piss and moan after every motherfucking win. Why do you even tune in for fucks sake?

  12. It’s a cliche, but in December in the NFL you just have to win. Will we go far in the playoffs playing like we did today? Fuck no. Is today a good example of how we’ve played the last two months? Fuck no.

Tske the W and get ready for a big one next weekend….
