Alpiie at $37MM/yearvs Holmgren and his injury risk at $50MM, one year apart. And Jabari at half that?
Our front office is on a serious roll right now…

That’s what it looks like to me from gleaning through posts on various boards. A Tennessee guy I work with said their allotments were 4AA-10AA and 6C-10C, which seems consistent with other posts I’ve seen. I’ll wait until we get our allotment (which is when prices will start falling) but that’s how it looks to me..

You’re goddamn right…

Looks like visitors are all on the horseshoe end now, either down low around the EZ (assuming students, band, and CTJ) or in the upper EZ on that side. IIRC in 2005 those of us in the upper deck were on the opposite end, facing the Limas end zone…

I have no problem with people who want seatbacks, I have a problem with the style UT decided to go with the last couple of years. Prior to that you could have whatever posture you wanted and it didn’t encroach on the person behind you…

Those seatbacks they’ve put in the last couple of years where you can recline are annoying as fuck. There’s next to no leg room to begin with, don’t let fatty in front of me rest his/her gut by leaning back and killing 70% of it….

Corbin not perfect by any means tonight but we really needed this kind of start from him…

Cam is going to be very good. However his style does not fit with not help the current rockets. The Rockets are doing him a favor.
Cam is a natural scorer, but his game doesn’t fit our style or (especially) our winning window.
We should actually be happy it came to this; if so many of our first rounders hadn’t panned out (especially given where we picked them), letting a guy like Cam go for essentially nothing wouldn’t be an option…

Good luck trying to get a job in Silicon Valley or Wall Street coming out of Ole Miss
Plenty of Ole Miss grads get great jobs both places, they just weren’t born in the US…

Imo seems like a safe bet. The NCAA hasn't been able to enforce anything in ages, I don't see that changing now just because a consulting firm is involved.
Yeah but you know the look and feel of the slides at their monthly update presentation are world-class…

Hah well I guess we just needed his salary off the books. If anything these picks will be filler for whatever move we make at the trade deadline…

Dang I was hoping to get a first rounder for him at the least.
A Wizards’ 2nd rounder is pretty damn close to a late 1st….

When Blood Sugar Sex Magik came out I listened to that shit constantly for like a year, and then got progressively burned out on the Peppers after their follow-ups. Listened to it start to finish for the first time in years about a month ago and back into it hard….

Since this is your first watch, report back with what you think about season 2 once you get into it.
…and if you don’t report back that it was fucking stellar you’re a retard.

So bizarre - Tech currently has two low 4 stars in their class, all the rest 3-stars (other than Ojo). So basically, they just threw their entire recruiting budget at Ojo.
Seems like McGuire saw an article about the ‘big 3’ concept in the NBA and is applying it to a 22-starter sport…

Hey - do you ever listen to K-Billy’s super sounds of the seventies?

Old enough to have pissed off Akers while I was playing racquetball in Bellmont.
Old enough to have had an afternoon Statesman paper route.
My father was a Silver Spur 75 years ago.Yeah, so you’re about my age. Compare 6th Street in 1985 to 2005; is that the High Street analogy?

Vet minimum deal for Dame to join the Rockets after he is done rehabbing his Achilles?
I would love that. If he doesn’t do anything but wave a towel and teach the young ‘uns a winner attitude that’s money well spent…

It’s not like Adams can (or at least should) play the same minutes over 82 games that he played in the playoffs. We need another rotation guy to keep him greasy in April/May who’s better than Landale.
EDIT - somehow autocorrect turned ‘fresh’ into ‘greasy’, but I’m grooving on the latter…

The wishbone was only ever effective back in the days when fast, strong guys never played in the front 7 on defense. Those days are long, long gone….

Great extension. He was #3 overall in a down draft and will never be an MVP candidate, but he’s a hard worker who fills a very important role on this team.
This is shaping up to be a hell of an offseason…

So I don’t know the NBA cap rules near as well as the NFL. I’m of the belief that we now have use of the MLE, which gives us options in free agency for a sharpshooter off the bench, which I think is the #1 roster need at this point.
Are the MLE and the combine salary of Whitmore and Landale mutually exclusive or does this give us the ability to sign a guy at the MLE AND combine those two for an approximate $11MM second signing?
