Is there really not a Beto equivalent on the right? Surely there's a modern, cool, level-headed conservative out there that can lead the Republican party back to sanity?

I think Dan Crenshaw May be headed that way.  I like his appearance on SNL and his life story is pretty amazing.  I will say that in reading his website when looking at his position on issues it pretty typical conservative.  My issue was his repeated use of dog whistles when trying to demonize the left.

I will say though - IF we make the CCG I'd rather it be against WVU. I'd rather watch us play OU again but it's just so damn hard to beat someone twice in one season.

Absolutely,  plus we already beat OU so I would love to pound WV after that heart breaker.

Is Baylor better or worse than OSU?

How many points is a road game worth versus a home game?

Did you see Shane Saturday?  Did you see him almost throw 2 more pics for 3 total?  Sure, he could improve (though only marginally); it could also get a lot worse. I’m serious: we could lose every remaining game with him starting.

Haha.  I negged him for this post only for him to go back a couple of pages to find a totally unrelated post of mine to neg.

  4. Shane was rusty but let’s not act like we had a bunch of blowout wins that he should have been playing in late.  Here is to hoping Sam is able to recover over the bye week.  Seems it came at the perfect time.  If he does in fact heal up then I have to say it seems like the season is one of those where we are finally the team catching the breaks.  If he can not recover that quick hopefullly Shane getting the snaps with ones will help get him up to speed.

Not a popular opinion but the NFL is a much better product on the field than college football

I don’t think many people disagree here.  The difference however, is that most people are much more emotionally invested in their colleges team.  For example I don’t like it when the Cowboys lose.  When Texas loses it ruins my day.
