How many more players does Boehly plan on buying this window? Twelve?
We actually only have one defensive mf right now on the books. And it's uncertain if Kante will be with the squad next season

I don't know but this club is becoming a beating to follow.
I liked it when there was a ruthless Russian oligarch making the calls that dreaded wasting money.
Someone's already planning his out to follow Pulisic.

This guy is just next level. Never seen anybody like him. Just absolutely game-breaking.
I wonder if Victor and 18 year old Lebron were in the same draft who would go first.

PREFERRED 23/24 STARTING XI
I asked at the end of the survey for people to give what their preferred starting XI under Poch with transfers would look like to start next season and while the more honest answers such as, "Good players", "No" and "Fuck off" made me laugh, but this is the most popular response from those who did seriously answer:
(4-2-3-1): Kepa; James, Fofana, Colwill, Chilwell; Enzo, Rice; Mudryk, Mount, Nkunku; Osimhen
There were other popular shouts for Ugarte, Maignan, Emi Martinez, Caicedo, Lavia, Ivan Toney, and Harry Kane.
Receiving other votes were: Onana, Slonina, Kone, Kolo Muani, Sadio Mane, Højlund, Lautaro, Mehdi Taremi and Vlahovic. I respect the one mad lad who said Tammy Abraham up top.
There were also popular shouts for Kante to start next to Enzo, Havertz to start as no.10, Sterling starting at LW or RW and either Havertz, Lukaku or Broja starting up top (Lukaku's name was mentioned WAY more than I was expecting). One person used a 3-4-3 and put Nkunku in a pivot with Enzo. Idk, I won't judge.
Anyway, these are the final results. Discuss amongst yourself. The season is over now. I need to go touch grass.
As mentioned Poch is in as the new manager. Hoping to see a bit less variation in the squad game to game with a firm identity.
It is already mentioned that Auba (shocking) and Joao are on their way out.
Mount is being rumored gone, but time will tell.
Dave has likely played his last game for Chelsea and certainly with Silva's age, he might be depth or gone as well.
RLC is likely to AC Milan.
Captain America to Juventus gaining steam.
Zakaria will no be extended and is heading back to Juve.
The first push from Poch is Manuel Ugarte an Uruguayan defensive midfield with PSG also interested.
Nkunku is on his way to the squad.
Poch's preferred formation is a 4-2-3-1 although he played more 4-3-3 at PSG.
Here is a nice article on his style of play and our roster - https://theathletic.com/4448874/2023/05/01/chelsea-pochettino-players-lukaku/

Trivial thing that makes me Surly: Why do we segment the "Premier League" from the rest of 100 years of English football?
Wait there was an English league before the Premier League?
