Three reasons for Longhorns to root for Navy.

    1)  the fucking Irish have been our bitter enemies for decades.  I have hated those entitled fuck faces ever since we faced them in the 1970 Cotton Bowl, and how they ruined DKR’s run the rematch.  Bitter were the loses with James Brown and others, so much so that when The Desiel Swoopes dove over the goal line it was like the liquid sunshine of the great happy one!  I fucking hate Noter Dame.

    2) if we are going to go to the promise land somebody needs to beat those entitled fucks or they are going to steal a playoff slot without a Conference Championship which should be required if we are going to only have 4 slots.  Fuck them. I will root for all their opponents.  I would even root for OUSuxs if they were playing them.

    3) Go Navy!  The Midshipman are committed to defending our great nation with the exact opposite of the entitled Fucking Irish.  It is sacrifice vs entitlement.

So Fuck the Irish, go Navy!

Idiotic and tired. This isn't the mid-'00s with 5 BCS losses. This decade, OU is 4-4 in bowl games, including 2 NY6 wins against the SEC in their backyard, and an OT loss in the playoffs.  And to say that you would rather be dogshit than lose in the playoffs/title game is embarassingly bad. You are saying from 1990-93, you'd rather be the New England Patriots who went 1-15, 6-10, 2-14, 5-11 than the Buffalo Bills, who lost 4 straight Super Bowls.

neither . both outcomes gargle balls . emotionally i would rather not be the billls . and why try to fancy it up ? ou has been dogshit in mnc games . own it . i am a bit jealous y'all made it , out and out giddy you failed .

And you're 8 years removed from a decade of being relevant.  What's your point?

now you are getting nasty . a poke talking about being relevant . was isu  ever relevant ? or just relevant enough to take away the best shot y'all ever had ?

Agreed... Riley will have his work cut out, now the defense, that's another story, as it will have to be overhauled...

kinda sounds like the same story actually . . we shall see what happens from here, but it does not look great for ou sux .

Nice!  I know the stakes were huge but 2 good medium distance kicks gets you a national weekly award?

when one of them comes on ou's end of the cotton bowl, game on the line .... true freshman , then yeah

The Co-op has pretty much always done shirts for victories(and probably ones like these). I almost never see anyone wearing them.

FTR, I saw lots of Sooners wearing beat Texas (or something like it) shirt, hats, and buttons.

just about every shirt you see has a reference to Texas . they actually have a shirt with a picture of a hand doing the horns down . very , very  few polos , or button ups with a logo . and the the opposite of that with Texas fans . but then again wild things don't know they are wild, they just are . gooners gonna goon
