They sacrificed a bunch of dudes and hung them upside down to drain their blood and then used that blood as war paint in the first movie. They’re bad people. We’re not supposed to be surprised they do bad things. Why are we surprised they do bad things?
Good point. Good point. -
I’m actually pretty shocked we haven’t had any wailing about the patriarchy with the casual slaughter of the H’s female attendants. It fits the story, of course, but was still a bit shocking that they put it on film several times.

Houston = aggy. Same little brother syndrome, same shit-ass fans, same cult like obsessions.

Runaway with Tom Selleck and Gene Simmons. Pretty decent but cheesy as hell.
I loved that movie as a kid. Didn't get better than Magnum PI, KISS, killer robots and (if I recall correctly) a few titties thrown in.

Shit 1987 was one of those years (The All Nighter) and I guarantee there are at least two dozen on it that most have seen and like but will never admit it. I admit it! There are like ten more on this below list I covet that qualify.

So much quality on that list. Shows how far the industry has fallen that we probably don’t get 2-3 of the quality of the 10-50 on that list, much less something as good as one of the top 10.- 2

TIL we never finished the back half of s2.
Me either. Too much needy girl drama and not enough alien hating on kids.

Duncan Donuts was good.

Liked the Arnold one. Deadpool and Planet of the Apes look good. The M&M ring of comfort or whatever was funny.

I think we found the Town Lake killer.
Yeah, was thinking he might be trying to invite those guys over to watch some gay porn before they end up in his freezer.

To be fair, Sean Astin was already like 30 and fat when the movies came out.
Billy Boyd is the oldest, apparently.

That commercial makes me violent.

Saw The Marvels yesterday. Horrible. Hands down the worst villain of any of the Marvel movies. The whole singing planet bit was painful. Some decent banter and the Flerkins. Otherwise, it was poo.

I'm still trying to figure out what they're trying to do with the Chipolte commerical guy that asks the cooks questions. He sounds like a drunken New York clown. So odd.

They need to lean him out. A guy who wanders around wouldn’t be so jacked without a gym (and roids). Might also let him walk without looking like he has a stick up his butt.

Man, playing these women’s college basketball commercials over and over has really convinced me to watch some chick hoops. Look at those fundamentals!

Really liked the Choctaw storyline. Felt connected to What If season 2.
Except that the whole series hinted at the family/ancestral connection. Agree on the second part. That was the only thing in the series I thought was dumb.
Overall an enjoyable watch with some interesting character arcs for Maya and Fisk. It’s a nice break from the CGI-heavy Marvel standard.
SpoilerEh. Maybe is she had healed someone. Not so much as hitting a guy up into the ceiling. Just seemed like they rushed to write an ending and 'give them powers!!' was the easy way out.

It was short. I liked Maya’s family and the Choctaw stuff.
up until...
Spoiler....the old lady and cousin suddenly got powers and started whipping butt and then Biscuits shows up in a brand new monster truck that we are to assume he assembled in a few hours from junk yard parts.

Nice! Even though it sucked, the fight scenes in Episode 1 of Echo give me hope that it will be very similar to the OG run on Netflix.
