Yep. They ran it after boogie nights came out.
I think there was a bow staff fight at one point (yes a real one) that they utilized for the 3d.
I remember now...that and a bowling ball was one of the other ones.

I saw a 3D '70s-era porn there. Weren't sure what to expect...but it was just standard 3D shit like a mug of beer being sent down the bar.

Dallas, after Dak shits the bed this weekend.
How did the last Super Bowl-winning Bill who went to Dallas after coaching New England work out?

Our floor certainly wasn't 11-1 or 10-2 this year either if you have any understanding of what that word means. You can't look back at outcome and call that a floor SMH.
I didn't call it a floor. I called it forgetting that we went through that shit last year and came out smelling like roses, while pointing at all those things as proof that the floor should be lower. The floor for last year's team given where they'd been, what their schedule was, losing Bijan and Roschon, and the odds against them for being their last year in the Big 12, was likely 6-7 games. They proved they were a different team even through all of that plus the injuries and the shit officiating. Hey, cool, if you think the floor is losing 4-5 games with a team that's stacked, has a relatively easy schedule, and already showed how they deal with the kind of adversity you were saying lowered the floor. It's cool, but that's just, like, your opinion, man.

This. Anyone calling 2 losses a "floor" is either insane or has no idea what "floor" means. 10-2 is a reasonable prediction and would frankly represent an extremely successful season and guaranteed playoff spot (almost certainly hosting first round with our schedule). But it seems like people forget about things like injuries to key players will occur and the fact that it's certain every team in the country is going to play some stinkers over the course of the year (and you just hope that doesn't happen against teams with a pulse). I mean we play @ Michigan, UGA and 3 rivalry games (2 on the road). We could easily lose 4 next year if the chips don't fall our way. I'm betting Vegas team totals for us is set at 9.5 or 10.
You talk about forgetting things like injuries to key players and stinker games...but did you forget all of that from this last season? We lost starters in the secondary, suffered a season-ending injury to our Doak Walker candidate starter projected to be RB1 in the NFL draft at the time, had our starting TE down with nagging injuries ever since the 0u game, lost our starting QB for 2 games, brought him back when he wasn't entirely healthy, and made the CFP. We had literally all the things you talked about, including having empirically the worst officiating against us, and didn't lose 4. We should win every game except Georgia. You could say the same thing about this last year, except substitute Alabama...and we beat Bama. This year is the beginning of a 4-5 year run where the floor should be 10-2 every year.

Lawyer -- read the fine print. We don't have Ole Miss on the schedule next year.
Motherfucker. I didn't scroll far enough over to see that it was Mississippi State. Fuck me.

I'll take as much action as you're willing to put up that we don't lose to Ole Miss next year.
I don't think we lose to Ole Miss. I think we go 16-0. I was asked for what might be a reasonable floor given this team and 9-4 is a reasonable floor for next year.

Whole issue is a ‘floor’ of 2. You’re an attorney. You know floor vs a reasonable expectation.
True. I guess if we're talking reasonable-worst case, it's probably 9-4 losing to UM, Georgia, and one of aggy, 0u, or arky, and either Ole Miss or the bowl game. I've been drinking the Kool Aid. So I revise my floor to 9-4 with a good chance at 16-0.

Which 3 or 3? Happy to bet on over 2 regular season losses. Schedules are brutal next year.
edit: and no it’s no slam dunk on 3. But floor implies that’s the worst you’re gonna do. That’s insane to me. But for fun I’d put a little on it. I’d guess vegas sets loss total at 2. So that would be a push.
Yeah...which 3 do you see as losses (or more)? UM, Georgia, and...0u? Ole Miss? Someone we shouldn't lose to?
-
I'm afraid to set my expectations too high with us losing Sweat and Murphy and still having a big question mark in the secondary, but the floor is 12-2. Michigan is losing way more than us, we get Georgia at home, and 0u doesn't have Gabriel under center. Which three do we lose @ChiTownDoc?

When Bill Parcells was coaching the Cowboys he did a post-draft press conference and talked about his rules for drafting a QB.
I'm no Bill Parcells, but how realistic could that strategy have been over the last 20-30 years? With that strategy, you miss out on Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Kurt Warner, and Drew Bledsoe...who Parcells actually drafted in 1993 and who wasn't a senior, didn't graduate, wasn't a 3-year starter, and didn't win 23 games (actually it was 7 in his first two years). I think Bill is maybe full of shit.

That is absolutely not happening. I might be able to concede he'd be a late 6th or 7th round pick by a team but Quinn is not going in the first 3 rounds if he declares.

Hell I got laughed at by a few folks here for saying that he wouldn't get drafted if he declares.
You should have gotten laughed at. We should still be laughing at you. He's currently graded as the 8th best QB by PFF and is ranked as their 60th best overall. That's typical of the draft ratings. Several have three QBs off the board in the top 10, meaning at 8th QB he'd be a solid 2nd rounder or maybe a 3rd rounder.
If you honestly think he's not getting drafted, did you hit your head? And, if not, ha fucking ha you.

I didn't think there was a possibility of him being gone until the Alabama game. He shot up to 1st-3rd QB on draft boards and a lottery pick, and it had me thinking he was definitely gone. I stopped worrying as much when he slowly dropped down to 6th-8th QB over the course of the season, but thought there was still a chance. Most ratings boards still have him no lower than 8th. In a draft this deep, that's probably still late 2nd/early 3rd if nothing else changes at the combine, especially given how many rookie QBs started a game in the NFL this season.

If Quinn’s stats are so good then why does he have to come back another year to improve his draft stock? His stats are almost identical to Drake Maye. Maye lost to a bunch of shitty teams in addition to playing in a shitty ACC conference, yet he is predicted to go in the first round of the draft.
Goddammit...what does one have to do with the other or anything else I said? You want to give up that known 5-star commodity for an untested 5-star? Is that your point?
And Quinn's stats are objectively good for fuck's sake. Jesus tittyfucking Christ.

It saddens me not only that there are so many stupid people...but that they choose to display their stupidity so publicly. Quinn is QB1. He's a RS-Soph returning as the Heisman frontrunner who had a season stat line of 272 of 394 for 69.0%, 3,479 yards, an 8.8 ypc, with 22 TD against 6 INT and a 158.6 passer rating, but, more importantly, a 12-1 regular season with a Big 12 championship and 0:01 and one misread pass away from playing for a national championship in a game where the other team had a nearly perfect outing until the very end of the 4th quarter. If you want Arch over Quinn for next season right now, you probably still think John Chiles should starts and VY should be moved to WR.
Kindly go fuck your own faces so you can stop the noise pollution coming from your own mouths but, in any event, pretty please with sugar on top, shut the fuck up.

That was my point. Universities make exceptions for football players.
It was an NCAA rule change in August last year that allowed this. The year before he wouldn't have been able to. It's not universities that make the exception. As long as registration was still open (it was) and he was rostered on a NCG team (he was), he could enter the portal and transfer.

We see transfer get in late every year. AD Mitchell hit the portal on the 18th,committed to Texas on Jan 20th, and was at Texas in the spring.
Mitchell received "reasonable accommodations" for being rostered on a NCG participant. And WR isn't the same as QB. He entered the portal 9 days after the game and committed to Texas two days later.
