You sound awfully naive. I hate to break it to you, but it’s highly likely that Trump isn’t the first with these personality traits to be President in your lifetime.
Regarding everybody else here, y’all are really coming on here to breakdown the President’s behavior during a funeral? Step away for a while. Take a break. Or listen to Simpson. Hate corrodes the container that carries it. Good day.
Many CEO’s have sociopathic tendencies. So what? Trump has full blown narcissistic personality disorder. I know you’re not a medical professional so let me help...that means if somebody complements him he CAN NOT RESIST returning favors/complements. Do you see how that’s a big problem? You can play him like a fiddle. The Saudis/Russians/Norks have done just that. So kindly STFU with your ‘what about’ bullshit.

Luckily, for Dotard, the only people that seem to be dumber than him are those compromising the press pool. You simply bring this quote up and ask him about it. I'll never figure these idiots out. They seem to go out of their way to give shithead an out - every damn time. If he tries to move on from the question, the next person asks that question for the prior reporter or gives up his time until we get answers. Or shithead can walk right over to his helicopter without more than 2 min to spew his bullshit.

And the only offense I would take over Oklahoma's is Alabama's. Georgia is talented, no doubt.
We're waiting FLhorn. Nice plug about their RB's, though. OU's first round back has been injured all year - and likely fell out of the first round...anyways, what makes you think GA oline is better than OU's? I have not seen anyone say that.
I believe OU has 3 guys that are grading out as first rounders right now. GA has one that I see, I'll look at their other guys... this is if we are just going by actual prospects but the line play through the year, OU has been called the top line more often than not. The Joe Moore award can settle it - both teams are finalists.

I think all good O-linemen are a little dirty. You have to be. It is probably the toughest position to play on the field. You absolutely have to have a real mean streak to play that position effectively. I didn't see any "cheap" shots in that video, but man if you are playing an NFL caliber O-lineman, you better a) keep your head on a swivel and b) go hard to the whistle and then maybe a second beyond. Hell, go watch any all-district 6A HS lineman in the state and you will see very similar things. They are just nasty.
All of this. Any college team would take OU’s ‘nasty’ Oline. Legit roadgraders.

Yeah you can bitch about the flags not thrown or other players being held but that kid looks like a boy vs men on almost every play I’ve seen in that game.
I’ve seen some of his posted videos and have not made one negative post about him. I’ve always thought he’s not mentally well and here we are. Wish him the best.
And to those saying Gideon and others got more shit...probably but they weren’t in the place this kid finds himself.

He’s the rich kid in high school who thinks he’s popular because he has a group of followers and he doesn’t realize they only care that he’s rich and throws big parties. I’m sure a lot of you remember those types. The guy who thinks because he’s got money and is popular, he can hit on your girlfriend, and when that happens, you walk up and just hammer the shit out of his face, leaving him lying on the ground crying and saying you made a mistake and his friends will come after you, and you challenging anybody in his group to a fight right then and there, and nobody takes a step, and you spit on him and tell him that if any of his friend try anything, they better kill you, because you will find him and skin him alive and leave his headless, skinless corpse propped up in his daddy’s favorite BMW.
The only differences between Trump and that kid is Trump has probably never been in a fight in his life, and obviously Trump made it to old age, while that rich kid from high school ended up on the side of a fucking milk carton two months later.
But Trump shares one aspect with that kid - he doesn’t realize that having a group of followers who can stuff a ballot box that can get you elected prom king doesn’t mean shit if you get called into the principal’s office for cheating on tests.
If things play out like it seems is happening, Trump is going to find his followers will start claiming they voted for Gary Johnson or against Hillary. He will still have enough for his rallies, but he could easily lose NC and FL, in addition to AZ, MI, PA, WI
I’m betting the fight with Mueller is the first time Trump has ever had a legal fight where he couldn’t settle or buy his way out of it, or where the stakes had a direct impact on his continuing in his current position
I’m not saying the Senate will impeach I think he withdraws from re-election. After everything else, there’s no way he runs knowing he will be humiliated for the six months up to Nov. of 2020. He’s written the ads for the Dems. They just need to produce and run them.
I've said it 100x. All the people that should have punched this asshole growing up did us all a disservice giving him a pass. He needed his ass kicked. He never got that asskicking and went about bullying the world. He's a fat motherfucker that needs to be knocked out/down. That simple. Legally or physically. Nobody has ever stood up to this POS and put him in his place. Hope Mueller can pull it off but with all these enablers, it will be difficult.

ESPN had a cute graphic with who their experts thought should be in the playoffs the night before the announcements. About 11 picked Georgia. Every single one who picked Georgia was an SEC grad except for one fuckstick. The only nonSEC grad was Herbie. Worldwide leader in bias right there.

Bama will beat OU badly. Their OLine is elite and they will run the ball and control clock. They’ll get atleast 3 or 4 stops and OU will get lucky to get two. I honestly don’t see either of these games being that close
Cool. Put whatever money you have on both favorites. Vegas was built on this type of thinking. ‘Easy money!!!!’

The number one reason we lost this game was because we did not go for it on 4th and 11 or whatever with a minute something left in the first half at their 40.
You can't afford to make such coaching mistakes in games like this. This was an unbelievably good situation to go for it. Number one, we are actually good at that situation with LJH and CJ and Sam. I think it is a 50% chance of converting. But to really understand why it is a must go for it situation is to realize the reward you get for making it. Not only do you get a chance to score a field goal or more likely a touchdown the way our offense is against their defense, but you keep OU from having a chance to score at the end of the half. The fact that they get the ball first in the second half even makes it more important to keep them from scoring. So this wasn't your normal go for it on 4th down and maybe we can score situation. This was a 2-score decision. This was giving us a scoring chance near the red zone and taking away a scoring chance from OU. This was frickin huge. This was us possibly going into halftime up 21-10 versus OU winning 20-14. I mean this was huge.
The reason you would not go for it is because the risk is too big (even though the reward as I discussed is so high). But the risk really is only giving OU like 20 extra yards of field position. In this day and age, with over a minute left on the clock, with their type offense, 20 yards is nothing. That is one 20 yard pass. You are not giving them an appreciably greater chance of scoring by giving the ball at the 40 as opposed as the 20, especially with their offense. If you are playing Iowa State, then yes, there is a greater chance they score from the 40 than the 20.
But having said all that, I get why Herman did not go for it. This is a high pressure job with all of us on every decision. The old school thinking is you punt on 4th and 11. Imagine he went for it and didn't make it and OU goes down and scores a TD. He would catch so much shit even though it was 100% the correct decision. There would have been no way for us to know that OU would have scored the TD even if he punted. But to be a great coach, he needs to get past doing the "safe" thing for the optics for our fans. Especially when the "safe" thing when you really look at risk and reward is really the riskiest thing you can do. Giving OU the ball with over a minute on the clock is just a risk you don't want to take if you don't have to.
It’s not a good sign when everyone on the opposing sideline is relieved you didn’t go for it. Solid post.

OU laid an egg against Georgia. I agree that OU should’be won against Georgia in the Rose Bowl, but shit happens.
I’m trying to be realistic as well and not sound like a UT fan toeing the company line. I truly believe Murray cannot maintain composure and play his style against this defense. You can’t deny the fact that this defense will be unlike anything he has faced since stepping on campus in Norman.
Saban with a few weeks to prepare for a single team is the stuff of legends. There’s always some regular season loss, but when shit’s on the line, more often then not he will have the defensive side of the ball ready.
Can’t argue w much there. Won’t be easy but I’m just not putting a chunk of change on Bama -14.5 - not saying they can’t cover that. There’s just the X factor of Saban vs a great spread offense. I’ll likely be in Miami with a flask filled to the brim - w Blanton’s.
Should be entertaining for a half at least. Ha

2 hours ago, Blanton said:Yes, it was really impressive OU had a win over Bama in the Sugar Bowl, but that Bama team didn't give two fucks about being there after missing out on the championship due to the kick 6.
There is a national championship on the line for Bama and I fully expect Saban to have his team dialed in with laser-like focus to destroy the ewok.
Lol. Right. If you watched, you’d see McElroy celebrate like he won the SB on that first TD pass. Then Knight had an out of body experience and Saban struggled against a potent spread offense. No shock.
Also go back and read the Shaggy thread. Many UT fans were calling out Bama for the ‘oh, we don’t care narrative’. Very few Bama fans on the Shag that night. Odd
Georgia got lucky to win last year in the playoffs vs OU. It was a coin toss game. And then Bama won only bc Georgia choked like OU did in the prior game. Anyone with a brain could see OU/GA/Bama were very close last year.
But go on with your narrative. It plays a lot better around here. OU sucks. Obviously.

They’re going to be called constantly for holding, offensive PI for pick routes and downfield blocking, ineligible man downfield, and Bama is going to mug their WRs without getting many defensive holding calls. It’s going to be a rude fucking awakening.
Lol. Oh yes. I remember when they got trucked by Bama last time. Nooooo way OU can hang. 😂
