  1. Alabama's JaMarcus Shephard doesn't refer to his position group as "receivers"
Shephard prefers a more aggressive term that makes a lot of sense.
If you watched Washington play this year it was impossible to come away not impressed with how dominant their receivers were on what so many coaches call "50/50 balls," and how physical they played
Come to find out, that's part of his grand design.
By design of course means in how he practices with his unit - that's a given - but the mentality also goes beyond that.
The 2023 FootballScoop Wide Receivers Coach of the Year finalist prefers a more aggressive term that the passive "receivers" title for the group he now oversees at Alabama.
Former Washington player suing school, coaches and trainers over alleged medical negligence
“I considered receivers very passive in the way they play the position. There’s a lot of folks across the country, they look at receivers and they see them as playing soft. That right there doesn't go over well with me.
“A coach once told me, ‘Get your guys to play in your image,’ and I tried to be a tough player, even at receiver.”
He shared during an interview with Tide's 100.9 The Game that he calls prefers the term "takers."
    “Being a taker is aggressive."
"It's an aggressive lifestyle. It’s how you go after the football, it's how you go after blocks, it's how you go after every single day on the football field.
“Being a taker is much more descriptive of how I want these guys to play.”
Shephard is going to see Husky wideout Rome Odunze taken in the first round, and two other guys from that runner-up finish likely to be taken in the NFL Draft.
He inherits a room in Tuscaloosa that lost it's top three receivers off last year's team (one to the NFL and two others transferred to Texas), but loaded with high-ranked recruits waiting to develop into the next best Alabama receiver.
Or if Shephard has his way...next best Alabama "taker."

Sounds rapey. Also, sounds like some stupid shit Deion would do.
  2. Possibly, but the reasons for some to keep TT instead of Safari are absolutely valid. I toggle between a hunting forum, aviation forum, and here seamlessly.  With a browser it sucks cock.
so, this place has warped my mind into thinking you typed a forum about sucking cock.
except you aren't uploading it to surly you are uploading it to tapatalk and it goes away after like 6 months and leaves dead links constantly. It also does work for you and everyone else, stop blaming your own stupidity on it not working.

    Didn’t know that.
  3. I have actually spoken to the head of marketing at EA in the last 12ish months. They understand the scrutiny on this game will be intense. I told her that they better not screw this up. The developers and project leaders on this game are hardcore CFB fans, which gives me hope that they will get it within the zip code of being a great game.

I’ve said before, I think they’ll do everything possible to get this one right. Then they’ll charge the fuck out of us for the game and microtransactions. They can really hit this one out of the park and then just copy it for 10 years and no one would care.
  4. Still have my original pair.  Going on the boat, the pool, the beach, working in the yard, even around deer camp when you need to air out your feet, they are awesome.

If they made a steel toed pair, I’d buy them for work.

  5. Is there an advantage to using Tapatalk? I know nothing about it, but I’m all ears.

I paid for it years ago. Like plenty of people have stated, all of your forums that support it are together. Easy to get through. It’s quick, clean looking, I never have any ads, easy to upload pictures on.

  6. I’ve got a buddy at work that loves Rubio. I’m thinking about building a wardrobe pretty soon. I’d like to use stain grade hardwood plywood and finish with Rubio.

It will definitely be my most ambitious project. But, I’m tossing around the idea of using it to justify buying a track saw and a domino joiner. lol

  7. Is it? I mean, I spotted this trend way in advance being in the wealthier exurbs, and I'm not seeing much of a wane and/or replacement yet.
And I thought the same for crocs (trend and fad, should be on the way out), but earlier this week they reported FY23 record revenue (~$4B up 11.5% YoY), so what do we know?

    Crocs are awesome.

  8. Clearly some of you assholes are less desperate than me. They could port NCAA 14, slap a new titleand a $100 price tag on it and I'd still line up at midnight for it. It's been a fucking decade ffs.

Like I said, I’m probably taking a vacation day.

  9. It’s enough to buy a new console plus get the game to play. If anyone ops out they are either a diva or dumb
let’s be real, we are talking about “dumb jocks”. Plenty of them will most likely get some bad advice for the first go round.
Hard to imagine they don't begin to look at basketball and baseball games down the line if this is the smash hit that it sounds like it will be.

Man, I still enjoy playing the ncaa mvp baseball. Drew Stubbs got wheels.
