  1. So if I’m going to spend $50pp, which has the better feel? Renting out Juliet’s or catering at the Zach?
  2. We’re doing Saturday matinee in February—so I was hoping for 1130am. I can have it catered at the theatre but it was pricier than I expected. $1500 (could just pay the minimum at Juliet’s for that).
  3. I'm looking for a private banquet room for 40 high schoolers close to Zach Theater for a fancy-ish protocol type dinner before a show. I was hoping for Juliet's. but we won't come close to their minimum spend to get the whole room. Any other ideas?
  4. My mom and my husband share a birthday, both really love fishing, and have never done a chartered trip (due to general frugality). I'd love to surprise them with a double date trip, but I don't know if either would enjoy it knowing it cost thousands. Are the little bay trips worth doing for $600? We could go anywhere, Port A to SPI.
  5. Maybe one of the ones with a removable agitator could get you to 4.5?
  6. No I probably can’t fit 2 pillows in mine. (i have never tried though—i only use tempur pedic pillows that i dont wash anyway. They have nice waterproof full zip covers. I take my king duvet cover to the laundromat.) Mine is 12.5 years old. Bought it the day i came home from the hospital with our fifth baby in seven years.
  7. No I think you’ll have to pick two of the features. I happily forego an extra cubic foot of volume in my speed queen in order to have zero digital components. Dirty to dry in an hour.
  8. Also could do frontier utilities
  9. i'm switching today or tomorrow to Gexa or Rhythm if anyone wants to share a referral code.
  10. google says IRA and HSA are the only options, and we don't qualify for either. ugh.
  11. I’m a lazy idiot and didn’t pre-figure our taxes before 12/31. There’s no other non-IRA way to reduce tax liability after the year-end is there? We both are covered by retirement plan at work so we can’t do a previous year IRA contribution.
  12. Or is that the only difference between paint grade and stain grade?
  13. The cabinetmaker just posted this on Facebook. Am I wrong that the paint grade cabinets look exactly like my stain grade ones save the mdf?
  14. I said walnut, they said we can get a similar look for cheaper.
