You serious?  You can start with the post I was responding too and search for any one of hundreds of posts on here that claim there is foreign intel that will bring everyone down.

But you asserted yourself into this argument by mis-representing my point, which I have now made clear.  So how about you answer.  Do you believe that there is intel, foreign or otherwise, that the intel community has not shared with the various political committees that are investigating collusion?  That there is supposedly explosive intel that proves collusion on the part of trumpco?  Either it doesn't exist, or it does exist and either Gowdy read it and ignored it (which is impossible) or the intel community has broken the law by not sharing it.

They've neither watched this, or be willing to acknowledge its content - this is, as already admitted, about optics.  About their "side" using this is a fucking political stunt.  They won't touch the fact that this is a carry-over from the previous administrations policies...

It's not a carry over you dimwit.  Trump enacted his 'zero tolerance' policy.  It is decidedly different than past administrations.  When you have Laura Bush issuing an opinion piece on the subject decrying this 'policy', it's patently fucking obvious something is wrong.

Call it what it is, Trump is trying to use these kids as a negotiating tool for immigration reform.  It's a bold strategy Cotton....

There may be similar variations in distribution of sources of campaign funds between candidates going back in time, but the differences in 2016 are significant.  For the purposes of this thread, which subsections would be the most likely to be targeted for money laundering foreign cash infusions into a presidential campaign?  Candidate 'Self financing' and 'Other '?  Small or Large individual contributions ?  All of the above? None of the above ?

I like to imagine it's a real life Breaking Bad scam similar to Walt Jr.'s fundraising efforts for his Dad's cancer treatment.   The Russians utilized stolen credit card/bank info to drop small amounts into Trump's coffers without anyone noticing.  Surely the real life Saul had connections to make this happen.

The emoluments issue is a tricky one.  But it is not, at all, the slam dunk many of claim.  There are plenty of legal and popular opinion arguments that trump is not violating the act.  I would think the question of whether or not paying market rate for a service is considered an emolument (it is certainly not a gift) could go to SCOTUS.

IMO, the only way emoluments gets any traction is if it can be proved that foreign govts paid over market rates at Trump properties and then received some kind of benefit.  The public knew trump owned hotels and golf courses all over the world when he was elected.

With that being said, I do not have a problem with an audit of the trump properties to see what was paid.  If it was over market, then trump should go down.

I also recall the trump folks saying any profits from foreign govt revenue would be donated to charity.  I would support following up on that.

What if they....and follow me here.... loaned 500mm to a project with the President's name plastered all over it in exchange for... say.... sanctions against a company being removed?

  5. Ask someone if they think Mueller’s investigation is a witch hunt and should be ended.

If they say yes they are a trumpkin or a politician.  The two aren’t mutually exclusive, but it narrows it down.

I don't believe Thomas was ever ON the ship. Just in conversations. I do wonder if we'll see him suddenly accept the job now, meaning that they basically offered to pay him 4-5x market rate.

Well if we're going to correct my post, it's also not really a ship.  Maybe a canoe or skiff at best.

No one can stop Trump from issuing a pardon to himself.   There isn't a pardon review board that agrees with any pardon.    Wouldn't the question come up only when a future DOJ investigation went after Trump?  Trump would argue that he was a presidential pardon and then the courts would decide that was INvalid and send him to FPMITA prison.

fify.  I think the better question is if Pence would issue him a pardon ala Nixon/Ford.

Not necessarily. My take on Cohen is that he is just sloppy. When he gets a new phone, he installs the stuff from the old one, chucks the old phone in a drawer and never thinks about it again.

I think he kept plenty of other stuff to cover his ass though.

Nah. I get the whole stupidity vs malice bit...but he had 16 phones iirc. 1. 6.

There were at least a few burners in there. Could he have saved them in case of emergency and covering his ass?  Absolutely. Did he anticipate being raided by the FBI?  Absolutely not.

He was sloppy alright. And now he’s likely proper fucked.

*i also doubt that moron knew how to transfer recordings/texts/records from a phone to a hard drive. I’m willing to be the “hard drives” are the phones.

As mentioned above they aren't going to put up anything that obstructs the capital view (nor should they).  That patio looks pretty badass.   And before people start bitching about the field club/suites, the Field Club at the USC game was awesome.  I wouldn't want my season tickets down there because not the best viewing, but would absolutely try to do that once a year for (particularly for a shitty opponent).

This.  They aren't going to close in the entire stadium.  Having the capitol/downtown views is more important that stadium symmetry IMO.

Tom Herman won't let the offense look like shit on Saturday. Our offense looked pretty solid during last year's Spring game, he knows what's at stake and will make things happen.

Ya.  So something like this until Jones has enough of it.

anyone got what the roller coaster pusher-uppers (the Aggie 9.95ers) have to say about the visit?

there are new threads on it on 247.

it's a surprise just to even pull one of these top flight guys from Louisiana to visit College Station; more of them at least visit Austin. Fact is whoever LSU wants from that state will get them... but it's a happy surprise just to get a visit from a guy like that. may be that's why it was kept under wraps?

Wouldn't be surprised if this is how Fisher is trying to pressure Leal.  Create some faux momentum with Ishmael and tell Leal he better jump on board or his spot might not be available.

  12. So Eskimo Hut's drinks are made with wine, not spirits.  Seems like blatantly false advertising when your menu has items like mai tai, pina colada, margarita, etc.

This fucker have disclosures on menus in the store?  Because they don't exist online.
