I don't love bunting. I don't think most singles to the OF even bring in Melendez from second.

Hodo misplayed the ball. It happens. Acting like he (or other athletic RFs) couldn't make the catch is dumb. If it was Melendez out there, sure, he's not getting to the RF line in time to make the catch. But Hodo has the speed to get there and make the catch if he doesn't misplay the ball.

Their outfielders seem to see the ball fine

It really is embarrassing

Bednar is going to shatter this strikeout record

We helped Bednar get his name in the record books.

What the fuck is wrong with Hodo? He looks like he hasn't played outfield before.

That was on the previous page, just in case I'm being ignored, Jerry.
Ack, sorry - I thought the surgery aspect might be new.
If Kelenic looked ready, it might be interesting to see him and Trammel get a little extended time together. But alas, it looks like Kelenic needs some time.

Kyle Lewis has a torn meniscus. He may need surgery.

The only team that should care at this point is KSU.
TCU is on the edge of a top 8 seed. I don't think it's certain for them yet. Winning the Big 12 tournament probably clinches a top 8 seed.

I think that was a ball but he's been calling that pitch 4 inches off most of the game

Send the well behaved prisoners to privately run rehabilitation facilities and compensate them on long term outcomes during and especially after release.
That could break the cycle of poverty, abuse, recidivism, etc., and the society as a whole is the main beneficiary.
I think that's a really cool idea. There'd be a lot of details to work out because some of the outcome-based payments, I assume, could come decades after the person was incarcerated.

It's taken.
Marxism is absolutely, 100%, about the forceful abolition of property and borders.
Property != family
So, I lose all my shit but get to keep my family. Hard pass.

Abolition of the bourgeois family meant abolition of using family for wealth, status, and property acquisition/holding. Not really all that complicated.
Where does one get one of those families? My wife and kids don't contribute shit.

Getting UCLA in our regional and being matched with the Gainesville regional would be really fun and interesting. UCLA and Florida were both top 3-5 preseason and just were never really able to put it together. But both teams have loads of talent and could be dangerous in the postseason.

I tuned in for a couple of innings and it was depressing. I’m starting to think our moderate success early was a mirage.

70% is still the magic number for herd immunity, correct? And we might actually make it? Didn't think America had it in her.
I think there's research that indicates we start seeing some benefits of herd immunity as low as 20%. And the benefits just keep increasing as you go higher. I'm not sure there's a magic number.
