  1. There is a level of revulsion that all "normal" adults should have for anyone who rapes children. If somone works for you and other employees come to you and say "boss, Jerry's fucking little kids," there is only one course of action to take. You cannot put the reputatuion of the program ahead of protecting children. Paterno would have been a hero if as soon as this was reported to him he had immediately suspended his D coordinator and waited for the police to investigate before deciding which way to go. Any other decision makes him complicit. Anyone who is not sickened by that must not be able to grasp what a terrible event being ass raped by a grown man must be for a kid. Little kids depend on adults to protect them from the monsters.

  2. I want all these guys to do well in the NFL but only because they were Longhorns, and it reflects well on the school for them to have great careers. However, fuck every one of them that sat out a bowl game, when that is the final opportunity to play with your team and for your university. I get leaving early to start your career, but not playing in bowl games is unfair to your team mates who have worked just as hard as you have, and now have to play next to your backup. Get off my yard.

  3. This morning: 292. Fought with the wife who says I just need to eat less and exercise more. She's partially correct, but then wonders why she is improving her tone but not losing weight despite the 3 mile a day walking habit, as she drinks a Dr. Pepper. It will be difficult to get the carbs all the way down and stay married to a carboholic,  but I can knock a lot of them out. I also have to resist the urge to become openly obsessed with it, as I think that's what she gets tired of, and I get that.So I'll be covertly obsessed. Also, got to get more active.

  4. Didn't even know this board existed! I'm currently about 293, 5'11". When I was "thin" I was about 200. I would love to feel what 220 feels like, again. I went keto about 5 mos ago and found it very easy to get into ketosis. I lost about 15 lbs in 2 weeks. I have put half that back on.  The way smokers smoke, or alcoholics drink, I eat. Stressed or fatigued, I over eat. I don't eat a lot of junk, but I eat too much. I'm sure there are others here that do the same.

I like the idea of fasting. Those of you who have had success with it, how did you start? How long were your first attempts? Did you do the 1 reasonable meal and nothing else thing, or go completely without when you started?

I would like to hear from people who have felt like it was just impossible but then had success. I've started so many times only to get back to where I started, and it's time, now. I'm really tired of my weight effecting how I live.

  5. Saying he wan't wanted here is incorrect. He is an elite athlete. We needed QBs, even little, tiny ones. Taking him from aggy would have been tasty. But, him blowing off aggy and Sumlin (and in the process pising off Allen to the point he split too)  was delicious, and if he proceeds to the MLB, thereby fucking ou over also, well, that's just a 5 star, 7 course gormet meal. Given his size and likely logevity issues, he probably did more for us by not coming here. I don't know if his presence would have hurt us recruiting this most recent QB crop, but it couldn't have helped.

If Kliff finally gets Axed this season in Lubbock, Bet they drive the brinks truck to Orlando's driveway in November/ Source to Chip Brown

If Herman gets his shit together and we start contending again, he may be able to do better. Besides, WTF would Teckh do with a decent defense? They wouldn't know how to act.

  7. I anticipate a lot of future NFL talent attributing much of their success to their time with Coach Orlando. He just seems like a guy who inspires you to work harder and do better. I hope we can keep him until we get back to the promised land.
