  1. Great info, ty!

Sayulita is about as safe as it gets in that area. You are more likely to get hurt in a bar brawl with drunk Americans than anything else.

Find a surf instructor that will take you away from Sayulita centro for lessons; the main beach is fucking crowded 24/7.

We like El Pescador Poke Bar on the main square

For chilling with drinks/food/beach, Club de Playa Camaron

  2. Heading to Sayulita via Puerto Vallarta in July. Debating on whether I should tell my wife abt the violence, or just forget abt it and just see how things go. I am doing the latter so far.

We are there for 3 nights in a 10 cabana hotel abt a 10 min golf cart ride from the town. Each cabana is provided a golf cart for the stay. The only plan so far is to take surf lessons and eat a shit ton of food. Any other recs would be appreciated. No kids on this trip, and i think we are renting a car.

I thought that was filmed in a way that the viewers were kind of in the same boat (so to speak) as the kids. Like, "Wait, what's going on? Is he really dead?" for like 15 minutes.

This was my exact take as well. GREAT acting and excellent shooting.

Kendall trying to grasp at what little control there is in a control-less situation by trying to direct the pilot, Dr's, etc.. Very accurate.

Bubba hits the flagstick on 15, spins backward and into the water and ends up with double bogey. Lulz

The reactions of his playing partners yesterday when he got a HIO was so awkward.

  5. I had Powers Top 20 before his HIO's today, so i am liking that pick with the upcoming weather conditions. The weekends weather has to be common in Ireland, right???

Re: weather...It looks like the late tee times tomorrow (early tee times on Friday) will have the best shot at good weather conditions going into the weekend. Friday looks to get wetter throughout the day, so maybe take that into consideration when choosing your players.

  6. In 2019, strong storms were forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, so the Monday practice round had all of the heavy hitters (if not the entire field) getting a round in. Not that it mattered (I had no choice of what day I got to attend), but the weather can make the players decisions sometimes as to what day/holes they want to practice.

  7. I got 3 separate ski trips (2 with family) this season, and now I feel like that should be the norm. My wife, however, has already mentioned that she wants to take a year off from skiing and go to the beach over xmas break instead.

I can feel this annual tradition slipping away already.

  8. Copper Mountain was great for spring break. It's a very convenient mountain, but smaller than most I have skied. My little girls (6&7) are progressing nicely and have now mastered getting on and off lifts. Skiing with daddy after lessons each day are what being a proud dad is all abt.

  9. Looks like this upcoming weekend storm will soften things up along the I-70 corridor with 8"-18"+. Looks like the rain/snow line will be below most mountain bases (~8,500'). I just noticed that Beaver Creek village is quite a bit lower than i thought at 8,100'.

  10. Copper on 14 & 15. Looks like some warm temps this weekend may cut back on the totals a little, but at least there is something in the forecast. Snow levels as high as 9,000' with this storm, but a lot of moisture which could surprise some mountains with some overproduction.
