It was clear that Dylan lost it immediately and he indicated that too. Kimble should've had it all the way.

Not blaming Volantis. It rarely ends well when pitchers call high pop ups

Infield flies are a bitch. Usually spinning and moving like crazy.  I hated them.  But I wasn't a college ballplayer either.

They don’t get easier, you just see more of them. Our 1st baseman is a catcher, our 2nd baseman is a scrub, our pitcher did pitcher things and ran away

I played college ball.  I understand what happened on the play.  The pros in the booth, the guy who makes notations for the books, me, and everyone else who isn't a fucking nerd trying to one up people on the internet, refers to it as getting picked, even if he was going on first move, when the pitcher catches the break and goes to first.

The official scoring is "caught stealing" and yes, he was attempting to steal by going first move.  The pitcher caught it, picked to first, resulting in the 1B throwing the runner out at 2nd vs. the catcher doing it.  Hence "they've got him picked."

This was a debate? I still play, poorly, and I co-sign your take. CS.

Russia has a huge supply of manpower to force to the front.

I wouldn’t count on Putin running out of gas he will continue to throw everything they have at it and their economy isn’t as close to collapsing as we would all like it to be.

Counterpoint: Russia is out of armor, their logistics are as bad as ever, the men they push to the front are still untrained and moving from tree line to tree line on scooters, and they still can’t conduct night operations. F16s are now being used offensively near the front, Russia just lost a 264,000 ton ammunition depot near Moscow, Ukraine has started using a longer range USV with torpedoes and SAMs increasing their dominance of the Black Sea, Saudi is about to produce more oil further driving down prices. If we’d just sell Ukraine the patriot batteries they want to buy, Russia would have basically no success to point to.

So model this hypothetical out for me:

    1) US let’s aid run out and doesn’t refill.  This summer some time?

    2) Intel and satellite info drops to near zero.

    3) The big European nations continue to dither and pither and only drip out weapons.

    4) Russia continues to attack, but keeps creeping closer to major economic problems and military shortages.

What does the endgame look like?  How bad would it need to get before a Ukrainians surrender?  Or would the war die down as Russia FINALLY runs out of gas?

Europe and Japan are now providing satellite intel. Obviously not as good as having US support too, but it won’t be as bad as when the US blindsided everyone and fucked the Kursk salient.

If Russia doesn’t collapse before they’re in artillery range of Zaporizhzhia, I think we’ll see substantial European troops in the rear and far more direct Euro support.

Russia is fucked just like the current US administration. They can’t economically sustain this. Have faith, my dudes.
