And the fact he put together a commission on voter fraud early on in his term.  A commission that closed quietly because they found nothing.  If we have all this fraud going on, why didn't that commission bring it forward then?  Even potential fraud.

It was my thinking that the commission was a ruse to get voter data and that it closed when the states wouldn’t give up the goods.

Man!  Somebody please help us out on this.  There was a press conference in the Rose Garden sometime between April & July.  And it was Trump "trying" to thank some pharma companies.  There was a well-circulated clip for just a few days, and I wish it had stuck as one of his biggest f'ups.  But it was him for about 30 seconds trying to pronounce some corporate names (not Rx drug names because those are a legit pain in the ass) that were aiding in the fight against Covid-19.  And it was just him with a lateral lisp and drooling for about 30 seconds as he fucked up every single word as not even his security detail noticed he was having a mild TIA.  Anybody remember what I'm talking about?  It was posted on this site, but not this thread...and only once or twice and then got no publicity about it.  My wife and her colleagues, all terminally degreed Speech-Language Pathologists, all agreed that was his moment of showing he has some neurological issues.  Not just old age, but legit brain shit going down (my words, not theirs).

Anybody remember what I'm talking about?  It was by far the most damming piece of footage I've ever seen of him to prove his cognitive decline. Not even Man Woman Camera TV Poop could save him from that.  It's fucking hard as hell to find because you google "Trump not making sense verbally" and next thing you know...your grandchildren are born.

It was one of the first three COVID press conferences, if not the first. I remember watching it and I quickly stopped stopped watching the Donny Show.

  3. Most all of the Trumpkins I meet are "Yeah, but..." Trumpkins. No matter what evidence you lay out before them it's "Yeah, but" and they roll out the FOX talking points. You fact check them and "Yeah, but" Snopes is funded by Soros. They all have a comfy landing when presented with facts... "Yeah, but..."

If you want to shut a Trumpkin down, you have to pick a detail and press them to explain it. I read a long diatribe a couple of days ago in which the author several times called De Blasio a communist. He boasted that libs never had an answer and always run away to hide. I asked him what his definition of a communist was (because they love to equivocate-always ask what they think a term means first) and how the Mayor met that definition. The guy never showed his face in the thread again.
  4. Trumpster: Libs are evil, BLM is evil, Hillary is evil, Obama and Michelle are evil, protesters are rioters and evil, (fill in the blank) is evil, SOCIALISTS! COMMUNISTS!

Me: Trump floated the idea of delaying the election.

Trumpster: WHY ARE YOU SO FULL OF HATE!

  5. This country is finished if this Senate report is a blip on the radar.

I don’t normally post politics on FB, but I posted a link to the story from The Hill so my Trumpist acquaintances would have to at least skim over the headline.

  6. He has no official money. He’ll go out like Roy Cohn - officially broke and owing people money. A few unsavory entities will raid his stash.

Then she better hurry up and find a new sugar daddy.

Nah, she's gonna ride the gravy train until he dies. She's already sold her soul so she'll stick around until the end. The only way it happens is if he dumps her.

She'll be shopping while he is on life support. The family tradition is golf, but I don't think she plays the game.

  8. True, it was a broad brush, but to use your example, someone's church is what I would consider "in their sphere of influence".  Tithing, yeah, I don't get that at all, but I won't touch it.

I was in an on-line conversation with a “devout” Christian. She literally typed “I don’t care about poor people.” I thanked her for letting me know where she stood on the issue.

    But why?

    Kidding...sort of

Well, if it doesn't exist, then it doesn't exist. I've bought enough Texas vodka to say I that I've tried to support liquor production in the Lone Star State even without buying any bourbon.

  10. I want to find a Texas bourbon to mix Manhattans and sours...trying to get some Texas product on my shelf. Lots of choices at Total wine but no help from the store associate. Suggestions?

I kind of feel sorry in advance for nurses and guidance counselors.

I guess counselors can meet with students outside. Nurses need to be packing full PPE, and it would be best to move the school clinic to an outside portable.
