No way it happens but Tommy Rees would be hilarious.- 1

Somewhere out there jimbo is lobbying for the job.

I just checked the bama board on sec rant, just the last 2 pages, haven’t mentioned lanning but I’m sure they are talking about the what ifs now. They mention deboer, kiffin, dabo. And no to Jeff fisch lol one mention under tier 2 candidates of sark and how they can’t outbid us.
I also did not read the last 50 pages. -
Enrollment talk not going away!
How Saban dismantled Alabama’s enrollment after retirement. My column:- 3

What a way to go. Like a king. Nobody had any idea. Sure he was old and it was coming but they didn’t know it would be today. Left by going 11-2. Truly incredible with the team he had. Left on a high note. We never saw his demise and was never shown the door. Left when he wanted on his time. Truly remarkable.

So for future scenarios,
The prices are fairly high still. If Texas was there, ridiculous prices.
When Texas makes it again (next year), should we assume the prices will be as high as they are now or higher? -
In the door prices at Stubhub are about $1,300 at this hour. I would have guessed they would fall further, but instead them seem to have stabilized and risen some over the last 24 hours.
Any guesses as to what the price would have been had Texas made it in? I'd guess about $3,000, or maybe higher since Wash-UM prices are so high.
Yeah the prices went up since yesterday. Very surprised they have not dipped below 1000. 1500 to get in right now on tick pick.
I think it’s fair to assume get in prices for Texas v Michigan would’ve been at least 2k.
Anybody happen to know get in prices for last year? Surely not close since it was a small school like TCU. -
It has been talked about within the last week...except the poster I quoted found the time to go to the Husky board? Yeah okay.
I end and start the year off by staying away from message boards and social media as much as I can.
So yes I missed this talk. Ended up on their board because I was curious what they were saying about the ticket prices.
TLDR; been living under a rock for 2 weeks. -
Don’t ask why but I was on husky message board and the title was sarkisian admits to drinking again something like that. This was in there
I guess Nansen or whatever his name is a drinker too? Anyone know the story there -
Ticket prices still high with fees cheapest around 1100. Safe to say if Texas was there tickets prices would be higher and wouldnt have dropped at all like I would’ve been hoping for.
My finances dodged a bullet, my heart did not.- 2

For the CFP-RSVP it’s like a stock so the teams who have a higher chance of making the playoff are at a higher price point from what I’ve gathered.
In 2019 Clemson and Alabama started off at 200 I think. So who knows what Texas will be.
On another note how much will tickets be for the Michigan game. I found some for 600 each. Never been to the big house but from pictures it doesn’t look as big as it is. It looks like any seat would be fine. Not too high. -
Does CFP-RSVP just do the championship game or do they do the semifinals too? I'll take a shot at the semi at the Cotton Bowl and the title game in Atlanta.
Just the championship. -
Texas/Michigan would have been the perfect storm. But with this being the last year of the 4 team playoff, we may never see championship game ticket prices reach that potential again. They will continue to jack up face value, and you combine that with travel costs for multiple rounds of playoffs, it will be tougher to reach peak demand. I think if the Championship game is reasonable driving distance from Texas (i.e., any Texas city or NOLA) it would still be a good bet to buy those early. But outside of that, not sure the upside will ever be close to what it was for those that bought early this year.
Yeah but I think at the beginning of the year they are really cheap like $10. Face value + 10 is not bad if you hit. I wouldn’t do it every year but Texas has a good chance next with ewers back so I think I’ll do it next year.
Where is the championship next year? -
I’m surprised the tickets haven’t gone down more still 1k plus to get in the door.
-
When is that?
Checking twitter, they opened up on 8/29 last yr.- 2

If Brooks leaves there is a compelling argument Blue is the best RB on the roster.
I did not expect to type any part of that sentence at the end of this season. Tashard Choice is a witch.
Yeah. Blue has played better than Baxter so far. Baxter is young but always seems dinged up. He just needs to work on ball security. -
I’m sad. I just feel bad for the players. You could tell they wanted it after the game. Damn proud of them. Been in my feelings all day. So hard to get here. Low key surprised we were here after years in the abyss. Wasn’t a bad showing. I hope we can get back next year. The extended playoffs are gonna be brutal.
Can’t wait for Ann Arbor.- 3

There wasn’t really any coverage busts. It was mostly our guys not good enough. That is an elite offense.
There were some questionable coaching but it wasn’t that bad to cost us the game. He was going Joe burrow on us and we still could’ve won with barely having the ball in the second and fumbling most of our second half possessions. So crazy to think.
For a second I thought we were gonna get blown out but we held it together + Washington questionable offense calls. Can’t really be mad at anyone. I’m sad af lol but not mad. They were easily the better teams. We did not look good from the jump and had 2 fumbles and still could’ve won. That’s mind boggling to me.
I know the game was close but I could feel it in the first half. I knew our guys couldn’t hope up penix was throwing dimes and our offense didn’t look great. Ad and worthy were non existent really. But then somehow all that happened. What a game. Proud of them. They were all emotional after the game. It is what it is.- 4

Doesn’t go here but who comes back next year.
Ewers for sure
Sanders?
Brooks?
AD- I doubt it
Worthy gone
Murphy gone
Collins gone
Hopefully blue stays he played great last night minus the fumble. The RB room is going to be crowded. Especially if brooks comes back. -
Moral of the story. Buying cfp-rsvp as soon as it opens for next season.

As I said in the game thread, our secondary is not very talented, Washington's line prevented us from getting any pressure, Penix is ridiculously accurate, and their wide receivers run great routes and catch everything.
What sorcery was PK supposed to have used to counter all of that?
Their hair and a doll. We were in New Orleans after all
