The committee will take into account Notre Dame not having a coach
I thought that may have been a factor vs a Big XII champion Oklahoma State, but once Oklahoma State lost today, that went out the window

I hate to say it but Baylor's 11 wins and conf title are more impressive than Domer's win.
But the Domers aren't getting passed over if Michigan gives away the 4th spot.
With a Michigan loss tonight, the committee would have to choose a 2-loss 4-seed over a 1-loss Notre Dame. I don’t see that happening.

ND needed Alabama and Cincinnati to lose
I’ll ask you again. With a Michigan loss, which 2-loss team do you have jumping the 1-loss Irish?

Notre Dame doesn't jump anyone. They have ZERO quality wins, no conference championship and they're Catholic.

With a Michigan win: 1. Bama, 2. Georgia, 3. Michigan, 4. Cincinatti
With a Michigan loss: 1. Bama, 2. Georgia, 3. Cincinnati, 4. Notre Dame
Bama-Georgia rematch for the Natty, S-E-C S-E-C S-E-C style

It’s amazing how this team is 11-1 with that offense. Defense, smoke and mirrors.
Don’t forget Big XII competition

So far it’s Baylor who’s come to play

OU should announce their coach right now just to shit all over the Big 12 game. Have Drake, Dabo, and Venables all land in some baller copter while throwing money out the window.
I heard announcement will come just before OSU goes for 2 for the win and a CFP berth, just for maximum effect

Big XII championship 2021……..Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, and Purple Wizard aren’t walking through that door……

Chris Simms went 11-2 and 11-2 as the starting QB at Texas capped with a 35-20 Cotton Bowl victory against Nick Saban's LSU team.
Decent is an understatement.
At the risk of rekindling decades old Simms-Applewhite debates, I’ll simply opine that while those records were impressive, those Texas teams were absolutely loaded with NFL talent of the staying power variety, and Simms’ overall performance fell miles short of some extremely lofty expectations, whether those expectations were fairly placed or not. Simms was THE #1 recruit in the country with pedigree

I talked to a source. I really want to call it Level 1
but let's call it 2 just to be safe.
Dabo & Venables are going to ou together and
announcing tomorrow around 11.
I was told Drake (rapper) is involved and will be
there too. Why Drake? I asked the same thing and
they said he's a Brand Jordan ambassador and
Brand Jordan sponsors OU.
I said why announce at 11am? And they said OU
wants to steal some of Okie Lites thunder (since
there playing in the big 12 championship)
I hope I am wrong but I trust this guy
I'll go ahead and duck now.
Hook EmPossible?….yes. Highly doubtful?…….absolutely. 11am?……well it is The Big XII

Ewers made comments last year about why he chose to de commit from Texas along the lines that “the program had just been down for too long”. Could be his true reasoning or could just have been a convenient line to drop transferring for another reason he wanted to keep close to the vest. I guess the question is whether Sarkisian in his mind will change that trajectory, and if he feels strongly enough that’s the case to take a chance he wasn’t willing to take barely more than a year ago. Or maybe his one year at Ohio State was enough to convince him that he needed to downgrade his expectations of himself in order to get on the field. There’s a lot of data points along the spectrum between “bust” and “generational talent”. Touted generational talent out of high school has also produced on field results all over the spectrum. Trevor Lawrence was mentioned earlier. Trevor Lawrence went to one of the hottest two programs at the time (Clemson) and proved too good to keep off the field as a true freshman that by mid-season he sent starter Kelly Bryant to the bench. Here at Texas we’ve had a large sample of highly ranked high school QBs from Chris Simms to Vince Young to Garret Gilbert. How did that work out? It took Vince the better part of two seasons to prove undeniably that he should be on the field against the likes of Chance Mock. Simms was decent, but never lived up to the hype. Gilbert ended up being cuttable. Life is like a box of chocolates, but if your program is hitting the all-time lows as this Texas program has been for quite some time, you’ve lost the ability to have your pick of the best pickings available. If an opportunity like Ewers falls in your lap for whatever reason, you take it regardless of repercussions for the Manning recruitment, etc.

$15,000,000? I thought LSU, as a university, was kind of broke.
Peak insanity now.
$95,000,000 for Tucker at Sparty
$85,000,000 for Asshole Franklin at State Pen
$15,000,000 per year for Kelly
probably around $12,000,000 per year for Riley
Nuts.
I remember a year ago when people on this board thought $12million per year for Urban was outlandishly high. Apparently not

Didn’t Stoops list ND as one of 2 jobs he’d take when he left OU a few years back?
