  1. Some mocks have the Steelers taking Guyton with their first pick. Or possibly the interior lineman from Duke. Offensive line needs tons of help.

  2. It will never cease to amaze me how stupid people can be after they get success. Here is the one guy who needs nobody else. Is a master at what he does and Red Bull's idiocy & pettiness could drive him away.

If he goes to Ferrari I'd reckon that will be as formidable as when Schumacher, Byrne, Brawn and Todt teamed up. Of course Ferrari was much worse then compared to now.

What the hell happened with MisterP?

As for AD, yes the greatest I've seen and my football watching days go all the way back to the Steel Curtain and the Doomsday defense.

I always kind of thought Donald was what Joe Greene would have been with today's training, nutrition and health care. The two are similar in size.

He also should have been in the top-5 in Heisman voting in 2013, since he won the Lombardi, Nagurski, Badnarik & Outland trophies.

  4. I've met Aaron a few times, dating back to his high school days at Penn Hills. I saw him play in high school, more than a few times. His school is just about 15 miles, in a straight line, from where I live. He was always a good guy.

I have a cousin who was Danny Marino's tight end in high school and roomie and played together at Pitt. My cousin has stayed involved with Central Catholic football over the years and one night after a Central game at Penn Hills he called me and said that he just watched the best high school defensive lineman that he had ever seen.

In high school when Central played against Penn Hills in the western Pa. playoffs my cousin had to try and block Billy Fralic, then himself just a sophomore at Penn Hills. Also, as a freshman at Pitt in practice he was supposed to block Hugh Green and Rickey Jackson, so I take him at his word.

Also, what I saw in person was incredible, even before he got to Pitt. I think Aaron's only other scholarship offers coming out of Penn Hills were Toledo and Akron, and possibly Rutgers. Many had him ranked as a three-star. Perhaps a bit of editing was done to name him a four-star.

It was just a joy to watch him play throughout his entire career, from Penn Hills to Pitt and then the Rams.

Now don't get me wrong. It would be cool if a Texas player won it.

However, since the 1993 incident with Marshall Faulk I haven't had much respect for the award. I know what it is.

2005 was definitely a moment I started to care even less and it wasn't even VY not winning, it was Kirk Bohls bullshit. His dumbass and unfair and bullshit explanation was so nauseating it kind of killed my interest to even follow it anymore. Like I knew the voters were morons but it was different hearing their idiocy explained to me by one of the idiots. And of course his truly pathetic mea culpa later.

very special.  Have 3 college teammates ever been on the same NBA team?

They also had Ryan Arcidiacono until they traded him back, I think, in January

Thanks! I did one of those back in 2016. Pretty fun seeing it on the big screen. Might have to do it again.

I’ve done that a good number of times. Movies like Lawrence of Arabia and the like are much more amazing on a big screen. I’ve even done it for fights, like Fury v Wilder II. Canelo Alvarez has a fight coming up that will be shown on the big screen.

Just saw the clip from post game. I couldn’t make it the whole 56 seconds before closing the window.

Top 10 all time movie for me, and for my money, Hitchcock's best. Eva is a smoke show in that. Carey Grant at his very best.

  10. Just saw the highlights from the end of the Den/Lakers game. Wow, that was something. Terrific night of basketball.

It’s amazing how different the playoffs are from the regular season.

He’ll be even more insufferable, if that is even possible, tomorrow.

Yeah, Embiid has struggled to rebound in 2nd half.  Definitely gutting out a good offensive game tonight though...

I’ve always thought he plays hard as hell and damn he gets banged up.

  13. What was that? Eight points in the final 30 seconds, or even less time than that. Crazy ending. Great job by the Knicks. Wow. I’m not really even a Knicks fan. I kind of rooted for them when a friend played for them but, that’s about it.

Sure seems like philly is shortening Embid's career by continuing to play him right now in these playoffs.

They will be lucky if Embid doesn't get hurt.

    He’s limping like crazy now.

  15. If Hamilton does not win a race this season, and it doesn’t really look like he will, his winning percentage will fall behind Schumacher’s.

Schumacher won 91/306 races and Hamilton has, as of now, won 103/337.

Schumacher is at 29.7% and Hamilton is right now at 30.5%. Add the rest of the season and Hamilton is at 103/356, for 28.9%.

This was super fun. Don't get hung up on the inaccuracies; it's best to just go with the flow and enjoy it for what it is - a Guy Ritchie/Jerry Bruckheimer film.
