I got my fair share of contact highs attending concerts and graduations there.
The highlight will always be seeing Metallica when they toured with Ozzy.
I was never so scared and so happy to be at a concert in my life.
Contact highs? Did Reefer Madness teach you that? LOL!!!

He made one of the greatest catches I've ever seen in a loss to Kansas City, that year they didn't make the playoffs with an 8-6 record, I believe. Tipped a high ball up and caught it on the way down. Shame they never show that in the old highlights. I remember after that game I was so upset I broke the shower head. Golden was cool.

As you watch the CFP tonight, which "starts" at 6:30, remind yourself how great it is that F1 races start at the time listed.
I'm betting with a 6:30 listed start time, kickoff won't be until after 6:50.
PM me if you really believe that

there's a bar in Tulsa, can't remember the name. the bartender keeps quarters in the freezer. you ask and she will pull out a boob, suck on a nipple, and pickup a cold quarter off the bar top with. all I got.
Please advise if you remember, as I will be in Tulsa in mid January.

Drunk frat boys from other schools are generally such great fans?
I'll take the drunks from OU, Baylor and many other schools over the clowns we ran into Saturday night

Tech takes down aggy 89-84 in an exhibition in Dallas today. Just a preseason game, but bodes well for us considering they're a veteran, preseason top 15 team.
Plenty of foul trouble and a couple of foulouts on Tech's side but we were still able to close it out.
Can't wait for the season to start.
Question about the aggy exhibition...where did they play the exhibition?

So, for real....it's been a long time since I've attended the game. I usually hop over to I-45, so I'm approaching the fair from the Southeast, through that neighborhood. Used to park on the field behind James Madison High school, I understand that's not in play any longer. So...where to park over there that's reasonably safe/won't get my car windows busted in?

Driving from Fort Worth to Dallas Saturday morning for pre-game revelry. And then heading out early to make it down to round Rock to pick up girls from water park weekend. Will avoid gameday traffic but access to IH-35 will still be nice. But biggest priority is where to park my SiL's vehicle which I'll be driving. Not gonna do a yard lot because I don't want to be blocked in. So gonna drive over and park at either Victory, West End, Akard, Saint Paul, or Pearl and take the train the last mile or two to Fair Park. And back again the other way.
My question is which of those stations has the most ample public parking right nearby? Ideally, drop the car in a surface lot or small garage, and be on the train within 90 seconds. But it being not my car, want it to be safe and secure too. Those stops are all like 2-3 minutes from one another, so which has the most parking in the immediate vicinity? Thanks! see you Surly bastards up there.
None of those stations have DART parking. I'm sure there are parking garages at the AAC and downtown, but not sure how close to the stations.
