Seeing Raiola spurn the Ohio couch burners fors Georgia makes me laugh. I can see him either beating out Vandergriff or transferring down the line. No 2 ways about it.

Vandagriff was class of '21.  He'll be 21 years old by the time next season starts.  Raiola will be a senior in high school.  I don't think Vandagriff vs. Raiola will be a thing.

I remember this part of my journey down the rabbit hole heading into the 2010's. It's the "our new guys are better than our starters that they're replacing because it's always onwards and upwards with this program!" part of the timeline. It's almost comical to witness, and I am enjoying it. If you weren't a sooner, I'd probably pity you a little bit though.

You guys are trapped in this spot where you don't fully grasp just how difficult it is to be as elite as your program was from 1999-2021. You think 2022 is an aberration and you absolutely have to believe that 2023 will be a return to the upper echelon of the sport. What you don't understand is that what you guys pulled wasn't easy, and it also didn't happen due to divine right.

Maybe you do wind up upgrading all of the starter losses. I've seen y'all fellate Kanak as the second coming of Teddy Lehman since last Feb. We'll see. From this end, it looks like a bad coaching staff doing really stupid shit and expecting amazing results.

I'm fascinated that this guy's return is viewed as this big positive for the ATM program. Never mind the rape aspect and it is still bizarre. He's as jaggy a jagger as any JAG has ever been. He has injury issues and he'll be gumming up opportunities for younger talent to see playing time. But, hey, he's a redass, so whoop!

I had to look up this Kanak guy because I never heard of him.  Very punchable face.  Perfect sooner.

I don't have my Chinpubes to English translator handy, but I don't know which term makes less sense in context -- retroactive ban or statute of limitations?

Unless my man has some sort of time machine, you can't "retroactively" ban someone. And how in the fuck does a statute of limitations apply to this? It's like Looch just randomly selected some quasi legal terms and started applying them like Greg Davis used to call screen passes.

I found my old "Fucking Moron," to English translator.  It's close enough.  I think he means he is permanently banning him from Texags. Their normal "bans," are probably temporary suspensions.  This guy is most likely getting an account closure/IP ban type of deal.

  5. The guy has an amazing career record at a difficult school to win consistently at.  They were 12-2 last year.  This season was bad.  I wouldn't count them out this soon.  Although, it does appear that something has gone really wrong there.  It'll be interesting to watch.

I'm not saying the sky is falling, I'm just saying I wish they were more proactive about getting guys who can compete for starting spots.  We have holes at WR, LB, and Safety.  We've hosted 1 safety, no WRs, and no LBs.  I understand us not going after mid guys at Edge or OL, we've got a lot of bodies there and we'd only take a real difference-maker.  But we have no one proven to play beside Jerrin Thompson, we have no productive 3rd WR after Zay and JWhitt, and we have no one to replace Overshown and DTD's snaps at LB.  Would it be great if we could find studs for those holes?  Sure.  But I'll take steady, productive contributors even if they aren't surefire draft picks.  DTD was a great addition last year, an athletically limited but obviously experienced and talented plug-and-play guy to provide decent snaps at LB.  A guy like that at each position of need would be fantastic and those guys are available.

DTD signed in May after Spring camps.  Point being... maybe be a little patient and don't blow your whole load in the beginning. /that'swhatshesaid

Honestly that was coming from day one. Dude exploded his ACL in high school and the rankings never adjusted and aggy took him pretty much explicitly to get the #1 class ever ranking bump.

I don’t understand all of the over the top anger over Hill. He’s a highly rated 5 star. Sometimes you lose them. It happens. But there’s far less whining about the other more serious issues, like few offensive recruits, etc. It’s like they don’t really understand the situation.

They've been told since before the last class actually signed that they were a 5-Star ILB away from a National Championship.  That's what they've been told about Harold Perkins.  Then when they missed on him; they have locked onto Anthony Hill.  So I think they feel the missing piece keeps slipping through their fingers.
