  1. I actually went to Tom Thumb last night to grab some hamburger meat but ended up stocking up on a bunch of different proteins that were discounted. Will go to Central market tonight to load up on Veggies. I can't do frozen veg because of the texture. most veg i eat is roasted or steamed. Already keep a steady supply of Kerrygold around so good on Butter. Day 1 lesson was Dairy is more carb heavy than I thought...which is gonna suck. I'll slam a big mug of Raw Milk like it's nothing. Or eat a big bowl of Yogurt. Gotta have better control on those. Started last night with a tsp of Apple cider Vinegar to see if I could stand the taste..wasnt bad and helped with the hunger late at night.. so took a full tsp this morning with water. I'll add lemon tonight with it to help the taste a little but it's not bad.. I drink Sour beers all the time already so the flavor isn't off putting to me. And for shits and giggles I did step on the scale last night... and was down 2lb's but that's all the water I'm pissing out. The plan for this week is get 3-4 days in of steady keto diet (i haven't peed on a strip yet). I might keep doing that through the weekend or go ahead and move to 16-8 fast. Either way, I',m planning to be doing a 16-8 on Monday. I'll get an hour of cardio in early in the morning during the fast and then break my fast at lunch time..several hours post workout. Read some interesting info about how effective Cardio is while fasting. And also how your HGH is highest in the morning during a fast and it's best to not eat immediately after working out because you will get the best results fat burning wish by not breaking the fast immediately with a post-workout drink.
  2. Day 1 done of Keto. Hey it's a damn start. came within 50cals of goal today. Carbs went a little higher than I meant (mid 30's). Gotta start making some food myself.. can't eat a Roti steak salad every day. Plus Ham, cheese, and egg will get old quick .... starting weights around 235. Goal over next couple months is hit 215 as a start. ultimate goal is 185 area but I know getting under 200 will be a damn big accomplishment for me.
  3. Just waiting on him to get on the plane basically... How so? John made it clear that we were going to get a Championship level coach.. It wasn't completely pointed towards Schloss. and that's bullshit for you to say he should have waited.. we were in a unique situation of some of the TOP Coaches in the country reaching out to us over the past 3 months that the job has been opened. Hell if this falls apart we likely end up with Dan McDonnell.. Kendall was one of the first to confirm Schloss was a candidate.. but still hasn't confirmed anything is signed. As of 4 hours ago he said he was leaning Schloss but could still end up being McDonnell. It won't be about compensation.. even though he will be one of the top 5? paid coaches if it works out. It's because of the difficulty in getting athletes in under the 11.7 rules. An athlete has to borrow $20k a year to make up the difference at TCU, vs that amount for 3-4 years at MSU. It's the fact we will have the nicest college baseball facility in America in 9 months. It's that we have some of the best fan support in the nation. It's because he has a chance to come to MSU and win a National Championship. From what I'm putting together, the timing was wrong with the kids and He didn't want to be the guy to follow a legend. Now if your job was open right now.. who knows. Or if it opens up in 5 years... would he leave MSU (if he is hired) for UT? Who knows? All I know is I'm damn excited about it..and have been for weeks... I'm finally believing Schloss will be our next head coach.. It's by the far the biggest Coaching hire in MSU history and can likely set the tone for the future of the program.
  4. Well we will have a new head coach in the next couple days.. but hopefully we can keep this season going for a little more fun. Y'all beat those turds in Oxford once you win your regional.
  5. Yea.. some ideas I found this morning are bulletproof tea instead.. or just tea with mct. Another was Coconut water with mct and salt. Also, Greek Yogurt with MCT and Coconut flakes. Just some ideas I've upon.
  6. Still a damn good job.
  7. Thanks. I don't think I would use it all the time but thought it would be a way to help with the transition into keto. or after a cheat meal to get quickly back in. Or I might just be completely wrong..... There might not be any way to know other than pissing on a strip. I do already have some mct oil. But haven't worked it into anything yet. I don't drink coffee actually
  8. Not sure where it was talked about before..but interested. I have been thinking about buying this stuff for a while..
  9. Subscribed. I'm getting fatter and lazier. A couple months ago i tried to make myself exercise because I saw the path I was going.. did it for a couple days and then feel out of doing it before it became an effective habit. Have ALL the tools in the world I need between Work gym, daily walk from / to train for work. A great Outdoor space across the street from my apartment. Gotta do something and it all starts with the Diet. I love to cook but have even stopped doing that because it's a chore. Time to read this thread and make some damn changes. I would guess I'm hovering close to 235-240 now... and in the worst shape of my life. Need to drop around 50lbs.. and I know the last 20 will be the hardest.
  10. Nothing about anything or anyone at Aggy means "top, most accomplished"
  11. and on that note. Kick ass Horns. Show Schloss he doesn't want to see you anymore in conference.
  12. I agree. The unique situation of our hire is different though. John already had a short list from when he retired. Corbin was offered but he either passed due to non-interest or timing (John retired during fall ball in 2016). Cann couldn't keep his d*ck off his phone or in his pants including during a game..and was sent packing 3 games into the season. So we have been actively recruiting a coach for over 3 months now. Between the constant detailed hype coming from John Cohen (will be a HC, will be paid top money, will have made MULTIPLE CWS appearances. ) it knocked it down to about 8 coaches. Mike Martin isn't one of them or any of the other lifer guys. Sully from UF isn't coming, The angry midget from LSU isn't coming. That leaves basically the ones i mentioned above. Schloss, McDonnell, Corbin, Tadlock (who is not comparable to the first 3) . Will it happen? Well.. we will have a head coach as soon as their season ends. So it will be interesting to follow certain coaches in the post-season. Could they and their agent be playing us? like football coaches do? Sure I guess.. but that's not the norm in baseball.
  13. Reposting here... where it belongs not in Texas thread. Sorry Don't want to start a new topic about the MSU Baseball Coach search but the Hot name that is looking very realistically is Jim Schlossnagle Opinions on Schloss? and how happy would Texas be to get him out of the conference. I have watched a handful of games between y'all and it's always very entertaining. Other names being mentioned are Dan McDonnell and Tim Corbin. Tadlock of Tech was mentioned also but Cohen is all but saying we have our guy already. Quotes from an Interview with AD John Cohen interview yesterday on a radio show. Will this position pay 1.5 mil+? "The coaches we are considering make a lot of money. This position will pay at the top of the scale" - The new coach has multiple CWS experience - The interest for this job has been above my expectations. We've had interest from Hall of Fame coaches. - We will not disrupt someone's season by naming coach early.
  14. Well crap. Should have put that in the Big12 thread instead. Sorry guys.

  16. MISSISSIPPI one of the first in Something? By DAMN..
  17. Cool. Guess we can all go legit now.
  18. New place just opened last week called Doc B's. It's across from perry's. Had Lunch on the first day open and was pretty tasty.. about normal prices for uptown.
  19. Temp is fine. But way too long. I only do it for an hour and never had a problem not hitting temps and texture is fine. Not frozen though. that about doubles the length. I need to expand also, we keep doing Chicken breasts, Grass fed NY Strips, and Salmon
  20. Good times this weekend in Fort Worth..Hit up Martin House for the SourFest which was a blast. Can't wait till they have the new bar open non-stop with 40 different taps, they are going to be doing a lot of experimental things. Next, dinner at Cane Rosso, cause love that place. and what better way to finish the day, then stop by Collective. Love the newest release, Doom Berry along with the Blueberry Lime Gose. As I walked in I noticed one of the Brewers from Community was working part-time there also.. So we chatted it up and then headed over to HopFusion. The infused beer of the night was Hairpin Pale ale with Pineapple and Mango. Wasn't really a fan of.. but enjoyed Sprocket and a couple others.. before riding the train home.

    Wine

So I've been meaning to post on this thread for the last couple weeks but never did. The past 4 months or so I have really started getting back into wine. especially since the last month of Wine.Woot threw up some great deals while they closed and reopened as a new company not under the amazon umbrella as Casemates.com Also, in DFW I was introduced to the Weekly tastings of 10-15 wines each week at Sigel's in Dallas. Seriously some small production wineries making some really good wines from Sonoma and Napa grapes. My CellarTracker is back over 100 bottles, edging and I'm about to really but a hard limit on future purchases for the year, but so many things are tempting on Casemates with my free shipping. I love and know mostly American wines. Preferring drier reds than sweet and is pretty rare to buy any non-sparking whites (rather just drink a craft beer) but if I do, it's a dry Riesling or a few other varietals. Also interested in trying more sparkling also, Iron Horse is by far my favorite and my standard. I get the winemakers selection club from them every month. So come check out https://casemates.com/ Or if up in DFW come check out one of the free Tastings at Sigel's. This week is French Rose's, they will be tasting 5 from 2016, the other 10 are from 2017 and super fresh. On sale from $9-20. Sigel's-Greenville Wednesday, May 16th 5-7pm Next week is 14 different Brunello di Montalcino wines. From a 2007 rated with 98pts to 11 2012's. Sigel's-Elite (3209 N Fitzhugh) Wednesday, May 23rd 5-7pm No I don't work for them.. I just find it a great time to come try some very good wine, with the owner in-store..and not having to travel to wherever the wine is made to try most of their tasting room. I'll post about individual wines in other posts in the future as I drink certain bottles.
  23. I miss my gold jacket. fuck i worked hard rep whoring for that thing..
  24. Msudawg... it was a tough decision. but I'd hate for anyone to get confused with any other Mississippi state fans..
