Anyone that had a plumber out already to replace an exterior tankless hot water heater. Got a quote from a guy for $1300 for the labor portion. Does that sound reasonable?
I was going to start a thread on this just the other day... super interesting concept.
I was trying to buy some TopShot packs the other day and also started looking into the HashMasks
Pipe that was at the back of the actual water heater (not pipes below it) Electricity went off Sunday night so never drained just did not have hot water all week. When I got electricity back Thur eve (because I think it has an electric ignition) I thawed the pipes with hair dryer which is what then sent water spewing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ve spotted the busted copper piping in my tankless. Talked to someone and it’s not really repairable. I’ve ordered a new rinnai tankless but it won’t be here until next weekend so I have a guy seeing if he can acquire one earlier for me. Let me know if anyone has sources here. Welp. Hair dryer got the pipes into the Rinnai unit unfroze and once did the it tried to start up but then starting pouring water from the back of the unit. Cut off the pipes for now as I guess I’m going to need a new unit. Dammit. And now I guess I need to worry about those pipes refreezing now that they have water and it’s shut off. My power just came on and I’m running through a few checks. I have a gas on-demand water heater. Anything that needs to be done? I never had hot water all week so not sure what might not be working here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I sure have found myself going to bed a lot earlier without power. Of course we are all sleeping in the living room in one big pile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Everything is ice and slush in central austin but I had no issues driving around in 4WD. Even stopped off at a gas station and filled up with gas plus bought extra water jugs. Yesterday the lines at CVS and 7-Eleven were nutty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was close to booking a room there yesterday but ultimately chose to stick to my house and trying keeping it from freezing over. However having a warm meal prepared for you sounds real nice right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My backup power on my pool finally gave out and stopped therefore pool froze overnight. Anyone trying anything to help that? Break up the ice or just wait it out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
12 hours and no power in 78702. Pretty cold In the house and my poor kids... my 1.5 has blue lips he is so cold. Lit the stove burners but only so much that can do. Might be heading to a hotel tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks, I'm just looking to add a few more things to my overall portfolio which is VERY Tech heavy. I've got a little ALPP AMYZF and TSNP as well but unfortunately in quantities I won't be quitting work any time soon.
Got some rec's for ones you are targeting? I just bought a little YOLO on the dip but I would like to start building some exposure over the next few months.
Nice easy rise too... I admire your confidence on this. I jumped in a little late and not with near the powder of some here but I look forward to riding the wave with you all.
