  1. I saw and added both of those too. Think you have to buy online though but I am looking to get some outdoor speakers so might be time to make that happen.
  2. The PayPal credit is $30 a month until June... pretty nice. I wonder if you can buy something expensive and use the PayPal pay over time to get the full credit each month.
  3. You are crazy... that's what people thought leading up to Dec 2017. Maybe it's higher but it also could retrace to 16K over the next few months.
  4. Thoughts and prayers... how terrible
  5. I grabbed my card collection the other day and started looking through. Tons of loose stuff and several complete sets but here are a few of the “special” ones I had already set aside. Looking through these sure take me back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Any news of a BTC ETF? GBTC was over a 30% premium last week and now down to a low of 6% this morning.
  7. Will end up losing my first shot at the Championship by a few points. Derrick Henry got me there but couldn’t close the deal. Probably will never forgive Josh Jacobs either for being such a tool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Have some Rep.... I feel this deeply
  9. There will likely come a time when I need to upgrade my AVS but for now I’m going with the more simple option of extracting the audio from HDMI and Input for zone 2 as Analog. (Receiver says it will accept digital via optical but I could not get that working) This means I can either run 2 other zones in Mono or just 1 in stereo but I think that should be good for this year. Then the savings on a new head unit can be used toward good outdoor speakers and the install. It does accomplish playing different or same inputs at different volumes which was key. Instead of getting the ease of control via Heos I think I might just get a Harmony remote system that I can control from my phone. Having the ability to turn on various components for what I want to do and also get connected to Google home sounds like a solid solution. For anyone with the Harmony system have you connected to a Main unit like Denon? What I’m looking at is whether it will be able to control the source and volume for the various Zones. For instance can I ask to play “backyard speakers” and it could turn on zone 2 with the correct source? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Long term capital gains and stonking sound like a dichotomy. If you have other losers you could always sell those as well to offset your gain if you are worried about taxes. It sounds like ALPP long term has some potential however if you looks at so many of these OTC stocks they have fallen from much higher highs so the odds of them continuing to grow over the course of a year sounds like quite the risk.
  11. I've heard that HEOS can help solve this and I suppose a new receiver would allow the Pandora signal to be converted internally for other zone outputs. Versus right now where my Chromecast is going to the receiver via HDMI to to back this signal up I need to get a HDMI splitter and use RCA connections. Splitter is $30 while a new receiver is $1200+ so I'm also trying to manage that. What if longer term I want either a TV or projector in the back yard? How could that be wired in to allow that sound to be played in the speakers? With Sonos you can just direct the source to them but if I'm wired to the AVR I suppose I would need to tie into that somehow? Talking with Magnolia the other day the guy was talking about the Savant system to tie together all the components including home automation. Sounded interesting.
  12. Ha, good lord. That's quite the bet.
  13. I'd lean Hurts. Buffalo/ NE game might be something like 19-6
  14. Most disappointing is the fact that I had $ALPP but sold it all off over the summer. I'm holding a small amount of $TSNP and $FPVD. Sold my $XMET off yesterday for 50% profit.
  15. Damn... $GME is stonking today
  16. Mentioned above was the fact that new cars have so much digital and power everything... I let the dealer talk me into an added bumper to bumper 6 year warranty. Probably is a better idea to self insure but it included gap insurance, loaner vehicles and roadside assistance for that time so I figured why not.
  17. Beat my semi opponent by 50 but time for the finals against the #1 seed. Help me assemble a championship team (left side) Currently thinking Hurts over Tannehill but other than that what you got? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. 10-4... I'll keep watching from the sidelines; missing out on the run of a lifetime
  19. Slow start to the year as we were acquired right at the beginning of lockdowns and that took it's toll on several things. Got just over quota in Q3 and should finish Q4 @ 300% making up for a shitty Q2. Getting a solid pipeline together for first half of next year so I might delay this other company that is recruiting me. They keep saying their Reps are making mint but would take a few quarters to get up to speed I think. Never worked at Dell myself. Spent my formative years doing strategy/implementation consulting for Big 4 and pivoted into SaaS. Moved from the delivery side over to sales once I got a little taste of that commission "eat what you kill" lifestyle.
  20. Unreal. Congrats to all you $ALPP holders that did not get shaken out over the summer like me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Is Fournette available? I don’t think Pollard is a good play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Very surprised how much they wanted for the Doc. Got a little carried away drinking it on Thur. Went by Cosco liquor yesterday and they have a big selection of Angels Envy both bourbon and rye. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Opponent has Kyler going today. I have Tannehill who has been steady but picked up Hurts in case. I’m projected to win but wondering if Hurts could better offset whatever Kyler does. I’ve also got D Henry so is rolling Tannehill betting too much on Titans? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Then lets just get the team in most likely to get riddled with Covid over Christmas break so it’s cancelled. Any other year the committee would definitely pick an SEC team. I really don’t think ND is a better team here but I do think they are a bigger draw and that might matter. Anyone that has a legitimate shot at beating Bama would be good with me but I’m not sure who that is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Well I hate both Aggy and ND but Aggy lost to #1 while ND lost to #2 (both bad losses). People saying ND beat Clemson but did they really? I’m not counting that as a signature win when they didn’t have Lawrence. So best win against FL for Aggy and UNC for ND nets out therefore I’d give the nod to the SEC I guess. Neither sounds great... too bad ISU didn’t beat OU. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
