But why? Jon Gray at least strikes people out or did prior to signing his deal. In this analytic driven market unless he is telling teams he read the data and he is changing his approach to pitching I don’t see how he can draw this. Do his spin numbers suggest more swing and miss with said approach ?

    M. Kelly has turned down the offer, which makes sense for him. Gotta go all in and get Samples in my opinion. Sure he’ll probably jump somewhere else in a couple of years, but we need his flash for a bit.

Didn’t Kelly blame Schmidt for his knee problems? I can’t imagine he’d want to be a part of that program with him.

He was a key part of the build up and has none of the stink of the scandal because he left in 2015.  That's a pretty ideal resume.

Is he the guys the Brewers players were mad at for not adding when they still were in it at the deadline? He traded away Hader and killed the clubhouse. I know click wasn’t super active but he did try to make some moves to improve the club.

I always thought in 2018 and 2019 he was gassed by the time the playoffs rolled around. I can imagine beyond just the arm injury recovery  itself keeping him fresh for these series was more important than piling up innings in the season.

They considered Mancini the left fielder. Yordan was the DH with Harper for Philly.

Which means they were constructing it so Philly won matchups. Mancini has not played left field in this series right or even playoffs?

Kyle Tucker is a clear advantage on Castalanos. Better defender, better arm, stolen base threat etc. Yordan one of the best hitters in baseball and starting left fielder is better than scwarber what baseball are they watching. This is dumb. Yordan has played left field every game in post season right? I guess for tv you got to make it compelling right.

Wouldn't this mean he should start game 3:

I believe he is referring to later in the series if needed so starting him earlier allows him a little more rest by maybe the ability to pitch again in the series

Yeah, not sure where it was, but saw it last week. I think it mentioned Choate as having a decent run as Montana State HC (over .500, anyway - haven't looked yet). I thought it was odd that it would mention Choate but not PK. Whatever, PK and Choate are our LB position coaches, and they seem to be the most underperforming on D. YMMV.

Feldman mentioned this on his Audible Podcast so I assume it was something he wrote.

  9. Is this the end zone that was gonna eventually collapse due to it current design? This is a way to kinda cover their ass without admitting that right, hey they only have to spend another 150 mil plus we don’t have!
