Rays scored 14 tonight. Funny how they suddenly found their bats once Houston left town.
Dude their schedule has been trash so far

Almost perfect in 1-3, 5 and 6. Horribad in 4th.
Missed hitting for cycle by 2 feet in 8th inning.
It’s a shame the 4th counts just as much as those other innings huh?

Can we ease off the RT hire being wrong yet?
Got Abmas, a top big, brought Disu back, still holding onto Holland, wait and see on who sticks to NBA draft and the players really seem to love him.
Any other transfer targets of note?

I had to look him up in order to remember who the hell he was.
Wasn’t he the one that no one knew if he was a te offer or d line?

Let’s say Dubon continues to hit well into June, and Altuve returns. What’s the plan?
I lean super utility/CF defensive replacement/bench depth. He’s never going to put together many XBH and he hasn’t stolen bags particularly well for his entire career.
Can the team carry Julks, Uncle Mike, Meyers, and Chas on the 25 man roster? 5 OF’s + Yordan + Dubon feels like too many.
I would carry them and Dubon also fills the Hensley role until he figures something out as he is not helping anybody being in the lineup now.

It is a little alarming how many barrels the Braves got off him. Something to monitor for next start to see if it was more of the braves doing good or Framber problems.
He tends to throw to the middle of the plate and have the run on his pitches do the work. Velocity was there but on quite a few that stayed up over the middle and had no run or the normal late movement. Perfect example was the 2 run homer to Albies. 97 but elevated and it flattened out.

Reading their boards is the level of denial we had about 2010 going in to 2011.

So he is still running for Texas? If he left the football team to pursue a transfer isn’t that kinda shitty to run for a team with one foot out the door?

So a guy that started games for them last year is now 3rd string and wasn’t in the plans because…reasons? A talented guy who hates football and a cube mercenary from the Pacific Northwest that hasn’t played a snap are def the answer.

First Minnesota game ‘might’ be moved back, per radio @Scraps
Teams in the northern part of the country sans roof shouldn’t have a home game before the last week of April.

If Bisontits is starting at a tackle spot, they are more fucked than i thought.
Is he the guy with trex arms that no one else offered at tackle?

Darius Terrell may have played WR in H.S., but UT recruited him as a TE. So I doubt he was a Bobby Kennedy special.
Had nothing to do with the position he played. Kennedy and Chambers were his main recruiters. Kennedy was the recruiter for multiple kids that might have been targeted to become college tight ends that had no business doing so.

I don't know who DT is because I only trust CJ Vogel from TFB.
IT has been reporting that Jett Bush is the backup for Jaylen Ford with Gbenda currently in front of Anthony Hill for the other spot. They've also reported Gavin Holmes is the the best cover corner we have.
The only CB we whiffed on was Jacoby Matthews. Maybe you can count Javien Toviano, but he's listed as a safety and we signed Derek Williams for that role.
DT is Bobby Kennedy special Darius Terrel is it not? That recruiting info is worthless.

'00 Melusky was the best catcher season in Astros history.
Had a friend on the grounds crew during that season who said meluskey would bum a dip everyday and take a 4 finger pinch. Always saying he left his can in the clubhouse. Never got him back at all.

2019 will haunt me forever. Lost a game 6 and 7 at home.
I think the ‘94 team had the potential to win it all, but the strike. I’m sure Bagwell is still pissed about it.
I was only 8 at the time but I don’t think the club had the pitching and they would have had to go through the expos or those braves of the 90’s at the time.

I thought hunter played a decent game as well in the 2nd half

Yeah, the Saban/Dabo evaluation methods seem to be diametrically opposed to each other. Not sure exactly how it will pan out in the long term, but it is really interesting to see.
Ty Anthony smith from jasper maybe?

According to Gerry Hamilton last Saturday:
Margin Hooks recommended three names to Sark ...
Jackson was one of them. Adam Henry was another. The third will not be named.GH also considers Chris Jackson to be a home run hire.
Why not name the third?

Ok. That doesn’t negate the fact that the A’s, both Sox teams the nationals and the tigers have been fairly poor and as a good team should do, has dominated the competition. Did you happen to see the lineup the white Sox have been putting out there of late compared to the healthy one we played against. Cease pitching in a controlled environment of Minute Maid is a tough comparison to the early season elements up north and outdoors.
