Things I liked:
Ramos/The Hood
Riri as a conflicted/morally gray "hero"
The big bad (and portrayal by the actor)
Nat
Zeke
The integration of technology and magic
Musical choices
VisualsThings I didn't care for:
The rest of Hood's crew (except maybe Cousin John)
Riri's perpetual stank face
Only 6 episodes (should have been 8-10 to flesh out a few things)I agree with all of these in general except the Hood crew. We enjoyed them as mostly comic relief.
Also agree with Riri character / actor. She did a few things i didn’t like with the perpetual scowling, but overall enjoyed her.
I disagree on more episodes. I think. Have a tight story. More episodes and then you get “filler” episodes. I guess maybe I should say do as many as the writers / directors think is a tight story. If it’s 6 great, if it’s 12 do that, but don’t do 12 if they say 6.

How old are your hens @InkaUtexas? Already laying?
Got our first blue egg Saturday. The set of 3 that we bought 7 months ago should have started laying them 2-4 weeks ago. We decided to keep them in a coop all day. Suddenly we have a blue egg. So either they just happened to start laying the first day we separated them, or there’s a pile of blue eggs along the tree line somewhere. They aren’t quite up to full production, so we’ve yet to have a 4 egg day
Spent last weekend putting up about 200’ of fence to make pen closer to the house with more shade for the sheep. By Wednesday the wife decided she couldn’t do it anymore, so we gave them to someone who already had a small heard and more experience.
On the plus side we now have another large area that we fit at least…30 more chickens in? 😃

You literally stated that your goals for her were " 100 and 135". Don't give kids goals like this.
I've been through this with three sons and one daughter, at this age it's all about form/technique. They just need to learn how to lift properly at this age. They are not adults so the strength increase at this age is puberty dependent and irrelevant.
QuoteAsking a novice to almost double their squat in 6 weeks
Quote I was responding too. Not what I said. Maybe you both need to learn to read. Her form is fine. Thanks for your “concern”

Can't seem to find it again, but saw an interesting IG reel earlier from an agent talking about how dismal the real estate markets are in Galveston and Bolivar.
Galveston = 1700 properties on the market. One single neighborhood in Jamaica Beach has over 100 houses for sale.
Bolivar = 550+ properties on the market. Only 10 sold in the past month = >50 months of supply.
Basically, the gist of the video was "if you're looking for a beach house to use, not as an investment, now's the time to start tossing out some crazy lowball offers."
So many people bought beach houses down there during COVID and the market went crazy for about 18 months. I know people that bought/built cabins for $400K in the late 2010's that sold them for >$800K in 2022. I can't imagine how many people are totally underwater.

Twitter sucks
Actually I reread his problem, and while I experience that too, i thought he was just referring to going back a page. I’m on my iPhone. If I swipe to go back from a thread to the forum I started in and there a lot of embeds, my phone just loops back to that same page. It’s faster to reopen

Why do Twitter embeds not allow you to go back to surly? If I click the back arrow on my phone after clicking on a tweet embed, it takes me through the other tweets on the same thread. Super annoying
I’m having the same problem

Yes you are since you clearly can’t read. And for assuming I’m not doing those things.

Daughter is going in to 8th after summer and started getting in to sports and weights this past year. She was really wanting to go to the gym but couldn’t until she hit 13 a couple months ago. She maxxed at 65 on bench and 75 on squats at the end of the school year. We had a couple not so constituent weeks followed up by 3 good l consistent weeks. She really enjoys going, and we walk the mall afterward drinking protein shakes. As my wife said when we were talking about signing her up for the gym you only get one time in your life to do it.
She hit 65 for 7 in her driest today on bench and 65, and she got 65 3x10 on her last squat work out. She’s excited about her gains. Told her my goals are 100 and 135 for the end of the summer for her. Might be a stretch but something to shoot for. And she’s been making me do my pt for my back while we’re there. Been a great experience.

You let them out or they stay in the coop all the time?
Ours run around the yard during the day. They are usually in a group or 3 around the end of the driveway. One of my favorite things every day is laying on the horn when I get home and watching the chaos. Brings joy to my heart.

Which of 1-3 is worse than 1? Are you kidding me?
and which of 7-9 were worse than 8? At least 9 gave us the Death Star remains. They all sucked, but 1 and 8 are the worst it gets.
2. Episode 2 is the worst. It’s not close. There is a decent story and some good acting coming from quigon. If they had dialed back the amount of acting the child had to do and just a bit of the jar jar bullshit and that would have been a good movie.

As. @UT_OB1 can attest you're gonna get those and it is your fiduciary duty to let your client know. Now if you add a "fuck these guys" that's on you.
Yep. Gotten a few of those the last several months. I personally would politely say no or laugh at I most of the time, but they’re trying to hit someone desperate, uninformed, or senile so I would completely understand if someone unloaded all their frustration on them.

I use a microscope that connects to my phone. Works pretty well, all things considered.
What do you have and would you buy it again or look at a different make/model?

So I recently got a new job and am l trying to figure out what tools to order. I’ve got a Flir attachment for my iPhone coming. looking at getting a laser pointer, flash light, laser distance measurement. Hoping there is a combo for those 3.
This would be for walkthroughs of a large industrial unit. I’ll have a wrench and a non contact voltage tester. These are all what I’ve carried in the past, except the it camera that I’m excited about.
anyone have any other ideas?

This is so awesome! I’m so sad this series is completed. I’ve already watched Season 2 four times. I’m fighting off the urge to watch it again with hockey and bourbon.
You might need to see a doctor 😁

Someone’s pitbull and 2 huskies broke in to our (pet) sheep pen. The boy played dead but the girl almost died. $1400+ later and she’s doing well after having her nasal passageway crushed and cheek ripped off. Yay me i guess. I asked if the vet could process her and give us the hide. I got a look or two.
Wife charged out and battle cried the pitbull into retreat. She said she would have strangled the dog to death if she’d been able to grab it. I almost directed her to the Kevin thread.
