  1. I saw the Stones in the Cotton Bowl in 87 or 88 my freshman year at UT thinking how active Mick was for an old guy. Now I'm that old which doesn't seem that old now.

Also- Mick has a kid that is younger than his grandkid

    Hey Kid,

Forget playing for the school you grew up cheering for. Come play in a dusty desert hell hole. It’s going to be 110 degrees every day without dropping below 85 at night from the time camp opens until halfway through the season. But it’s a dry heat. Practicing when it’s 75 degrees out makes you soft anyway.  The weather is great in January. I like to head over to watch the fiesta bowl after our season is over.

    Sincerely,

    Arizona State

PS, most of your games will be at 10:00 pm in your home town, so there won’t be any other games on to distract your friends and family.

your sales pitch could use some work TBH

There is so much, and so little, to say about them.  They are the most smug, self-entitled, self-absorbed, holier-than-thou-for-no-gotdam-reason sumbitches you will ever come across.  They splatter their trojan shit over everything: vanity license plates, Reyn Spooner shirts, where their Trojan gear to totally unrelated sporting events, fly their flags in front of their houses.  They are what out-of-staters think of when they think of Californians.  I'm getting nauseous typing this so Ima stop.  But I will part with:

sounds like they have a few things in common with aggy without the rural component. But SC has actually won things that matter.

Todd Marinovich and JFF would probably get along famously

Seriously, if someone said, "Here's a picture of a guy, what do you think he does for a living?"  What would you pick?

  5. sounds like this is going to the jury soon...can't believe there has been nothing on here in so long. from reading the twitter updates from the statesman guy, Criner has an absolutely implausible story about his activities that night. I hope weiser's family gets a swift verdict

ON THE OTHER HAND, I kind of feel guilty listening to the Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson also. When you think about the human suffering that came with that talent, it's so sad. Joe was a straight up physcially and emotionally abusive monster and probably had a helping hand in mindfucking Michael into pedophilia. Abusers are not born - they are created, in my opinion. Michael was almost definitely beaten by his dad and probably molested by somebody in the family or the business. It is so fucking hard for me to forget this even when I listen to Michael belt out the vocal equivalent of a Hendrix guitar solo or Coltrane sax solo.

    Tragic.

Dr Conrad Murray says Joe had Michael chemically castrated to preserve the voice...it's been a topic on the Joe Rogan podcast more than once

If he can grow a fu like his old man, this is his last chance to rock it in a longhorn uniform.

going to have to uhmm sort of disagree with you there...some originals are just spectacular masterpieces that no one, not even blood, should attempt to duplicate

It is pathetic how Liucci makes every mundane thing that happens at A&M into some glorious triumph. What a tool. I always felt like he was their Ketchum but somehow worse...and he has remained relevant and center stage so much longer than our tool. Somehow.

Watched a 20/20 ep on the fallacy of ankle monitors a few weeks back. Now that was startling. Apparently a lot of these devices and the people being paid to monitor them aren’t worth a fuck.

how about the ones wearing them?

There are no wrong answers (maybe) but I'll start. Musicians who you think had unbelievable voices and/or music, changed music in their prime, their music talked to you, etc. Having said that I love all types of music, rock, country, R&B, older hip hop, pop.

    In no particular order,

    SRV

    Prince

    George Michael

    Billy Joel

    Michael Jackson

of all time, meaning they were born between 1949 and 1963?
