Ella needs to call some people off these balls. The communication errors are so amateur
I think Emma and Ella will get better and more assertive as the season goes on. We have too many front row players trying to pass the ball that should be left to back row.

Skinner is giving me flashbacks of Micya White a bit with these bad tips.

Molly Green Giant on a roll so far - probably happy she’s back on the right side

IMO, Skinner should not be playing all 6 rotations

I’m too gullible to tell if this is real or not, but funny nevertheless 🤣

Yeah I guess I missed the Wisconsin thing but I'm seeing a ton of whining from them. What's that all about?
Some of what you see online is fake outrage from people rooting for them because of the nudes leaked online earlier in the year

the Surly banner change to “We Are A Volleyball School Now” didn’t jinx us!!!

Ugh I don’t want to leave this to another touch challenge

Lol 2 out of rotation calls in a championship match - dumb, just let it go lol

Use tuning in. I’d this the only camara view? Anything mid court?
Are you using the ESPN app? You might be on the end zone view - switch to another option

The cheerleaders must be required to be seated - only seeing hook ’ems head is funny

A little surprised Caffey is getting the start

NPR had several blurbs on the Championship game, but the narrative was the Busboom and the first female coach to win a championship. 😬😬
I was very surprised when I heard a women HC has never won a National championship, but one can win another year 🤘

I can see why Pitt libero was competing for her spot all season - her serve receive was not pretty, great defense though

Small conference. West coach. Basically guaranteed to be scrappy as fuck
Reminds me of our first meeting against Zoe Fleck and UC Santa Barbra

It has been awhile since I have seen Logan this flustered by a block, I am hoping she settles down soon and plays her game.
definitely surprised about how well Skinner is playing!

Im sure there will be some internal competition for libero next year, but right now it’s looking like Halter may wear black next year (I guess unless we get a someone better as a transfer).
Noticed poor Caffey never had a jersey with her name on the back…wonder what happened. I know we talked about it early in the season bc Bella and Caffey both were so late, but kinda sucks for her it lasted all season.

SD and Tree tied 1-1

Me earlier: Stanford’s ball control was not great against Houston
Stanford today: passing nails
IMO Paul had been kinda obvious about seeming to have a Stanford bias during his coverage. He cannot stop talking about how much he basically loves Stanford’s entire team (tbh we probably can’t complain with our team but still I’m annoyed)

I’m really surprised how many successful programs are running 6-2s. I feel like you used to not see it that often at the bigger programs.
-
I honestly feel like there have been so many bad calls that have gone against Pitt this match - I think Elliott would have gotten a red card by now if we were in this position

Eggleston is just so much better than Skinner is when she is the only option and handcuffed in front of the block - I am hoping it is something that Skinner can get better at in the future. Right now Skinner it seems either gives up easy tips/rolls or tips into the block hoping to reset.

Akana had a poor match against Marquette and got pulled in the 3rd, wonder if it’s nerves

My picks:
Texas 3-1 over Ohio State
Wisconsin 3-2 over Pitt
SD 3-2 over Tree
Louisville 3-1 over DucksComputers still like Texas the best
I was an SD skeptic, but after watching both Stanford regionals yesterday, I agree with you on SD over Tree. Stanford’s ball control was lacking and their hitters weren’t as terminal as I thought they needed to be. Plus, the home court advantage may not be as big a factor because it looked a little sparse last night.

Halter seems to be having a great night - hopefully she is settling in and this is the new normal for her defense
