  1. Keep: Rylan Galvan (C) Max Belyeu (OF) Will Gasparino (OF) Casey Borba (1B/3B) Max Grubbs (SP) Ace Whitehead (SP) Kimble Schuessler (C) Cade O’Hara (P) Easton Tumis (P) Oliver Santos (P) Oliver Service (C) David Shaw (P, had an awful year, battled back from injury, but has tools to be elite if this staff can get him to figure it out) Draft Risks With Eligibility: Jared Thomas (keep but more than likely going pro) Jalin Flores (keep but likely going pro) Lebarron Johnson Jr. (would lean keep with the new staff having an opportunity to work with him but I think he moves on and starts his pro career) Tanner Witt (needs to move on, wish him the best) Gage Boehm (would love to keep, @Hookem2147 would have a better answer on his draft risk) Andre Duplantier (would love to keep but COVID super senior, depends on whether they keep his brother Jayden and how bad he wants to play with him) Indifferent/Potential Natural Attrition: Tommy Farmer (OF) Blake Peterson (OF, Longhorn to the core) Nik Sanders (C) Hudson Hamilton (P) Jayden Duplantier (INF) Cut/Hit the portal: Luke Harrison (P) George Zaharias (P) Brandon Bertsch (P) Cole Selvig (P) Casey Cummings (OF) Chase Lummus (P) Cody Howard (P) This is mostly for reference, feel free to add or edit anything I missed. Some of this is just my opinion on what I think will happen.
  2. I really think A&M is about to talk themselves into hiring Michael Earley. They have Kirby Hocutt 2.0 running that athletic department. Rule #1: Never hire a head coach because it’s what the kids want
  3. Justin Loer LHP (LSU) and Cade Fisher LHP (Florida) entered the portal yesterday, no idea if Texas will pursue but we need lefties and both have a lot of upside and swing and miss
  4. Well I see TwelveBaseball’s boycott of Texas lasted all of about 24 hours
  5. Damn… It was worse than I thought. Basically told Jim to go find another job lol
  6. I think with Skip it will be contingent on how much OU is willing to spend for baseball in the SEC because if their commitment doesn’t change they will end up like Missouri
  7. Hit .367, 34/28(BBs/Ks), 1.130 OPS
  8. A little surprised he still hasn’t gotten a HCing gig yet
  9. Come on man, we have seen it before
  10. Interesting that JT was there. Means he is willing to hear Jim’s plan and is intrigued
  11. This press conference is an absolute evisceration of Trev Alberts
  12. This was probably a sight for sore eyes not seeing Male yell leaders
  13. One of my favorites from the A&M contingent is “good luck with that backstabbing, slimy, piece of shit mercenary” You mean the guy who spent 18 seasons at TCU and may very well still be there had Del Conte not left for Texas
  14. I’m putting this here since the dust has settled and Jim Schlossnagle is now official. David Pierce had the very unenviable task of following a man in Augie Garrido who is on the Mount Rushmore of college baseball managers. His tenure wasn’t perfect but I hope as time passes people can at least tip their cap for doing a pretty good job all things considered.
  15. If you are A&M I don’t understand how you can keep Trev Alberts. They are going to open the vault for the next hire and let the AD who just ran off one of the best managers in college baseball lead that search?
  16. We really pillaged the entire A&M baseball program lol. Them boys got off the team bus after getting back from Omaha, high fived a bunch of A&M fans congratulating them, then all of them packed their shit for Texas. Not a single assistant stayed… I don’t think A&M has had a more sobering reality check in their history, and that is saying something
  17. He should and I hope he does but I’m just saying in the event that Schloss does in fact bring some of these guys that are rumored to follow, that outfield is going to get crowded
  18. This roster will start to take shape quickly once the dominoes of who Schloss is bringing with him start to drop. If he does bring LaViolette and Sorrell the outfield will get crowded and guys like Farmer etc.. will hit the portal and could even put someone like Gasparino in a position where he has to make a decision.
  19. Galvan, Kimble, Belyeu, Gasparino are all guys I could see starting next year. Borba is also a good one who I believe just didn’t get the ABs to show it but was good in spare opportunities. The pitching is where it gets grim
  20. Our roster was not THAT bad
  21. @immamac combine this thread with Show me a Schloss
  22. Definitely will be fun to see how Schloss uses NIL here.
  23. All gas no brakes boys. #3 class coming in next year, time to hit the portal pronto
  24. This right here is what is going to sting even more than Schlossnagle leaving
  25. Chris Del Conte at the next SEC meeting when Alberts walks in the room:
