  1. Big news for Kansas. Hopefully this is a good sign that more and more programs are going to start committing to college baseball. Thought for sure Dan would only be there for 2-3 years then be off to greener pastures.
  2. West Virginia RBI single makes it 6-4, they have life
  3. How far West are we talking?
  4. I know what it means. When someone enters with a do not contact tag there is a 99.9% chance they already know where they are going. Would be nice if it is Texas
  5. Entered with a do not contact tag, wish we could get this kid
  6. Borba will be an interesting one to watch during the draft. In a similar situation that Jared Southard was back in 2022 where he showed a lot of potential, averaging 14.1 K/9 his last year at Texas. Never really got an opportunity to start because of some command issues I remember being excited about him potentially having a bigger role on the 2023 team and next thing you know the Angels take a shot on him in the 12th round and he is gone.
  7. They aren’t, definitely going to force universities to make tough decisions and Tech is already in the process. Posted this awhile back in another thread. https://www.lubbockonline.com/story/sports/college/red-raiders/2025/04/07/texas-tech-baseball-tim-tadlock-on-revenue-sharing-house-v-ncaa/80774061007/
  8. I knew the catch probability on this ball was low, didn’t know it was that low
  9. Liam Doyle posted a 6.00 ERA in conference play for an Ole Miss team that finished 27-29 and missed the NCAA tournament last year. He is possibly pitching his way to the #1 overall pick as we speak for Tennessee right now pumping 99 MPH fastballs from the left side. In baseball you look for tools and ability in players you feel like you can’t teach.
  10. Hats off to this Little Rock team, this is what college athletics is about, giving David their shot against Goliath. These kids will remember this for the rest of their lives
  11. Damn, they fought valiantly
  12. How I imagined the Little Rock dugout after their 5 run 2nd inning I believe
  13. I need Little Rock to win this, like the air I breathe
  14. If Little Rock pulls this off, it would make my year
  15. UTSA was just more sound defensively and fundamentally. They made more 50/50 plays than Texas did. Plays that when it’s all said and done don’t go down as errors if you don’t make them but change the game if you do. Flores was on the shit end of several of those on Saturday night. Galvan trying to get back and tag on the ball Kimble hit to right center when there was no reason too. Texas overall had more baserunners than UTSA, just didn’t make the plays when it mattered most. Schloss’ unwillingness to move Flores and Gasparino down the order, or at the very least separate them, until it was too late, hurt this team mightily down the stretch.
  16. I’ll say this, if I’m Schloss I find a way to play a 3 game weekend series against UTSA every year while Pat Hallmark is there. Those kids don’t flinch.
  17. Man Mississippi State wasted no time
  18. Woah, take it easy Chad, we weren’t familiar with your game
  19. Bitter pill for a team that won a conference title. Not much else to say
  20. These meep meeps are just destined
  21. As if I needed any more confirmation that Gasparino will transfer, here is the nail in the coffin
  22. That kinda night
