When they do fill they would not necessarily be in the same section as the previous ones

This.  If HTown85's uncle donates less than $10K a year, his 8 ou tickets will most likely be split up into 2 priority seats and 6 endzone seats.

  2. Pogo Jr cracked me up this morning before school.  He said something goofy; I looked at him and said, "What the hell is wrong with you?"  He replied, "Dad, what the hell ISN'T wrong with me?"

So funny, really, that every year a thread like this gets started, when it's not really necessary. Not thread policing here, just pointing out the obvious: no matter the subject, if it's aggy we're talking about, they will be doing things with typical aggy lack-of-elan, and they'll hype the hell out of their own incompetence.

Here's a good example -- they hype up their "Visualization Lab" as if it's some sort of cutting edge sci-fi lab for the future of Hollywood. In reality, it's just a "Who's Who of 'Who?'" -- you get more actual hires in Hollywood out of various junior colleges across the country.

    But check out their hype:

Chancellor said it best at the end - it is well hidden.  I could probably wander around ETC or ENS and find a few labs like this.

Not sure what the mechanism of action would be for helping with sleep apnea, but this CBD stuff is a bit of a Wild West.
That should scare us all a little, because fundamentally we’re achieving results by (in my understanding as a lay person) constricting neurotransmission in a system that regulates homeostasis.
So to me this makes good sense for discrete, well defined problems: pain disorders, sleep disorders, appetite disorders, seizure disorders, inflammation, autoimmune disorders, metabolism, etc. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me for stuff that is mechanical/structural, related to exogenous problems, or “general wellness”.

In either case, however, it seems really important to start the process by discovering the minimum effective dose for a well defined issue for a particular individual person.

That's exactly what we figured out as we have learned more about her apnea.  It's proven to be more mechanical in nature, thus it makes sense now why CBD didn't help.

I remember seeing this on NatGeo or something.  The narrator actually said, "While this arrangement clearly benefits the Pearlfish, it is not known what the Sea Cucumber gets out of it."

Expert troll on the part of the writers.

This reminds me that I get annoyed at people who take up one of the scarce non-gas pump spaces at convenience stores, and sit there for 30 minutes with their car running doing whatever.  Go park on a street somewhere and fuck off.

The opposite has happened to me so fucking many times at the Czech Stop.  People get gas and leave their car blocking the pump for the next 20 minutes while they're inside.  No more thinking I can kill 2 birds.  I won't leave home without a full tank anymore.

any woman that insincerely self-deprecates herself as "an asshole" when what she means is "I'm an unpleasant bitch" but who would fucking flip her tits if she were referred to as such

In my house, the standard response to this kind of self-deprecation is, "That's not why you're an asshole."  I forget which one of us said it first, but it's become a running joke.

That freedive video is amazing, but I must be missing something,. He dove about 30 meters, but the world record freedives are around 250 meters, with those dives going past the 4 minute mark. Is there something different about this particular freedive?

This one is pretty crazy just because of the tight spaces.  It almost looks like he's jumping into a blowhole.  The slightest bit of current comes through there and he gets shredded or shot 50 ft in the air.  And I'm guessing the thing around his neck might be a weight belt.  Not sure he could sink that quick otherwise.

    100% this.

My first thought was he thought he'd need the chair for when she gets on her knees for the "romantic full moon on the beach hummer" because he didn't want to stand or lay in the sand for it.

  11. In the HEB deli, I hold up packages of ravioli and tortellini and ask 9 year-old daughter which one we should get.  She points to the tortellini and says, "Get those.  They look like butt holes."

Was in distribution for pool equipment for the better part of 17 years.  The big 3 have about the same issues percentage wise

I've had 2 Pentair pumps (variable speed main pump and a smaller one for the water feature) and neither has given me a problem in 7+ years.  In that time, though, 4 Pentair valve actuators have died.  The first 2 were under warranty.  The 3rd was $300 to replace.  The 4th happened in April at 5:30 on a Friday.  A bit of research showed that those are the shittiest things Pentair makes.  I bought 2 Haywards Saturday morning and installed them myself in an hour.  When I opened the Pentair that had failed, it was full of water.

^^Sounds like a lot of work.

It's not.  Cleaning out the filter baskets is honestly a bigger pain in the ass.   Cleaning the filter cartridges is the one thing I will pay $120 for twice a year.

I saw a reference to phosphates above. Biggest scam in the pool supply business. They want to sell you $75 worth of chemicals to reduce phosphates. If your CYA and chlorine are in the right zone you don’t need to worry about phosphates. Get a good test kit and do your own tests. Troublefreepools(s?).com has numerous threads on this.

I probably spend about $100-$125 a year on chemicals, most of which is acid.  I will definitely check out that site though.

I have had a salt water pool for 10 years and it is remarkably easy.

This.  I have never had a "pool guy" in the 7 years we've had it.  Test chlorine and PH weekly.  Adjust chlorinator and add acid as needed.  Test water at pool store once a month or after heavy rains to see if other adjustments need to be made to things like phosphates, alkilinity, salt, cyanuric acid, hardness.
