I think this is Gerry saying Ketch’s time is running out, he’s been taking shots at him for months.

No complaints if an Ewers flip is imminent though.

My read is Arch may commit somewhere sooner than later. IT has been hedging a little on the original prediction his recruitment would drag well into 2022. Could be motivated by a desire to secure his spot before any possible Ewers flip.

    — I spoke with new Texas offer and Dewitt (MI.) WR/TE Tommy McIntosh today. While this looked like a midwest battle for the developmental tight end prospect. McIntosh already has official visits set for Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana, but the Texas offer really caught his attention. McIntosh can't free up a June weekend for an official visit to Austin with his current schedule, but he is close to locking down dates for a mid-week unofficial at some point. He'd like to check out Austin this summer and possibly return later for an official trip. July was the original date for his expected announcement, but it sounds like that could change. McIntosh said that with new offers coming in he will have to take his time with the process. Iowa and Wisconsin are probably the front runners at the moment, but Texas has a chance to turn the tide.

Ah yes, perennial Texas foes Iowa and Wisconsin.

  3. God bless the Ehlingers. May Jake rest in peace, and may time help the Ehlinger family find some solace after tragedy again.

A suggestion to the rest of you... shut the fuck up. Take the debate elsewhere. From here out, let's all post a tribute to Jake or to the Ehlinger family until we hit page 48, at which time this thread should be locked, please, @immamac

Hook 'Em, Jake. May all your sunsets be burnt orange.

    — Jaylon Guilbeau is locked in to Texas.  He's developed a strong bond with Terry Joseph and has been working to improve his physical attributes during the spring.  Guilbeau is focused on recruiting high-end defensive backs Denver Harris and Bryce Anderson to join him.  Guilbeau said he's thinking about taking a few trips in the summer for the experience, but the only one he's scheduled for sure is Texas.  Where Guilbeau once looked shaky, it seems he's firmed everything up.

    — Speaking of Bryce Anderson, Nick stopped by Westbrook to talk with him and I was able to get by near the end.  Anderson is looking forward to taking his visits during the summer and has an unofficial trip to Texas on June 18.  Anderson's family won't be able to make it so he wants to wait to take the official visit when they can.  If he can, he'd like to knock everything out and make a decision before the season or before district play starts.  We still feel very good with where Texas stands here.

    Clearly read the ctj update.

    You're not a realist, you're a whiny halfwit. Even worse, you're lazy.

Since giving an informed opinion is too difficult for you, I'm going to have to take some of my life attempting to fill your black hole of ignorance. As TARS can probably tell you better than me, trying to fill a black hole is a complete waste of time. That's an Interstellar joke, try to keep up.

Anywho...can you tell me the first kid to commit to Herman? I'll assume not. That would be Byron Vaughns on April 7, 2017.  Can you tell me what Herman's class looked like on April 25, 2017 (at which point new coaches worth their salt are experiencing an astounding level of momentum)? Casey Thompson, Cam Rising, Reese Moore, Byron Vaughns. That's good for a .90 average. Highest rated guy wouldn't even break the top-5 in our current class. 2nd-highest rated guy would only beat out 3-star Trevell Johnson.

Earthshattering levels of momentum for Mensa.

If you want to argue it's better to have a shitty class (as then-rated) all commit in April, rather than a good class all commit in February, be my guest, but that's a dumb argument.

Goddamn. Salty as fuck. I like it. And he's not wrong.

Oh? You just now got tired of it? Connor Robertson was the straw that broke the camel’s back, was it?

Fuck Stanford. Fuck Solomon Thomas. And fuck your patience, sir.

Rest assured, sir, the gravamen of my complaint is not just this most recent recruit, but rather the duration and frequency with which that wannabe Harvard of the west has been stealing our ‘croots.

I'm not gonna listen to the podcast but you better not be fucking with me.

Of course they don't say that, but Roach said probably 5 times how there was good reason for Texas to be optimistic. Talked about the fact Eli almost went to Texas and how much they like Sark. My guess is we lead now and have a high chance of landing him as long as we don't fuck it up.

That has got to be one of either the greatest trolls of all time by a UT fan in Lubbock or one of the largest wtf concepts I have ever seen

Well, his website has a video featuring a framed TTU degree in the background. I guess if you work on and think about ass all day, it's what you have to offer?

Mine is pretty close to the situation, as of Saturday it was basically done. But until an announcement is made that means Jack shit. That’s a lot of time to get your best offer together that perhaps Texas wouldn’t match.

Where’s your deer lease and are you Caddox’s friend’s friend?
