OK let's go through what he's asking for:

Non-project OL: EVERY OL is a project. Look at Kenyon Green playing matador at aggy.

Small outside WRs: Why? Tall is good outside. Epps is mediocre, but that's a strange obssession Meh has. Hopefully he gets supplanted by Washington. Plus, Sam keeps underthrowing them instead of letting them jump over those little OU DB

TEs that can play: Liebrock and Wiley are in the redshirt slow-cookerEh, fair enough. O line isn’t a recruiting problem - game plan and coaching today look like shit. Outside of you’re Walker Littles, there aren’t plug and play o line men. TE is hard to recruit - see OU starting a former walk on once their guy got hurt.

We agree on Epps. WR depth chart is a wasteland between the Sr and Fr class, outside of Eagles who also hasn’t done shit today.

Yessss it's time for midgame overreaction recruiting posts.

To be fair, never in a million years did I expect OUs d to make our o line their bitch and Epps is trash. D  doing as well as we could’ve expected. This game is on the o line.

I think Spiller could. He's a good prospect. Not at Bama, but definitely a good chunk, and before Roschon went beast mode, probably here.

Against P5 competition he’s got 22 carries for 33 yards and ~60 receiving yards. He wouldn’t start over Danny Young.

This was a big article around the country about QB's, but I'll just paste the part from Spiegelman about the state of Texas.  Says Card should leap King in the Rivals rankings

is the clear-cut QB1 in Texas. At the beginning of the cycle, I felt Card was a Rivals100 prospect. His film was incredible and you saw glimpses of what makes the future Longhorn so special. He has a strong arm, but what is more impressive is how accurate he is throwing all over the yard. In-person, Card showed off how mobile he is against Mansfield Timberview as he sliced up a very talented defense with his arms and legs. The future of Texas football is very bright with Card on the way. As it stands now, Card should leap

-- who drew a lot of buzz in the offseason -- as the top signal-caller in Texas.

Well I, for one, am shocked - SHOCKED - that the guy who all the big schools offered when the pads were on (even the fightin’ Texum ags and their QB whisperer) is showing up the camp circuit hero once real games started again.

  5. What is dipshit’s definition of “garbage time”? As stated, we had more than doubled their score with 10 minutes left in the game and they finally scored again with ~4 minutes left to cut it to a two score game. Even ESPN’s goofy win probability model had us at >99% that entire time.

    You didn't care before

Stop dude. This board has a history of trashing pieces of shit who beat on women (after all, it’s our main rival’s favorite pastime). Just because we weren’t talking about your dumbass coach also taking it up as a hobby, doesn’t mean we “didn’t care.” Come ask us in 2021 when you’re not on the schedule and we’ll still tell you he’s a piece of shit.

Even better, they have two freshman qbs. One is highly recruited Jack Sears and the other, Clovis, a 3*. Helton has tied his job to Clovis and the 5* hit the portal already. Just brilliant maneuvering.

Huh? Sears was class of 2017 and got beat out by a true freshman (twice). Probably a pretty good chance he sucks.

    A few things to note:

-Hullaby is an OLB on the board for Texas

Is this born out of a lack of available talent there or has it always been the plan?

Was honestly excited to see a badass H back in our offense. Sick of watching that position tear it up at OU.

Put me in the same old OU bucket. Offense looks like it hasn’t skipped a beat although Hurts doesn’t look quite the bastard that Murray and Mayfield were.

Then again it’s only a two score game at half against one of the worst defenses in CFB.

Eh their front 7 on D looks pretty solid, way more athletic than it’s been. Secondary pretty shitty.

Hurts definitely looks good but they’re not getting much of a push w the traditional run game. If they gotta rely on Hurts to manufacture a run game that might not end well.

Without the date stamp!! The horror!! I mean this totally shitty, racist event by a large number of students happened A WHOLE TWO YEARS ago!! ONLY half of the students involved would still be enrolled here!! How disgusting to point out our shitty, reversible behavior!

    what an idiot.

We can't pass on elite talent on our doorstep.

You’re obviously right, but I also don’t  know that we should hold a lame duck coach who’s been a huge disappointment just to nab these guys.

Even if we get em, is Shaka gonna know what do with them?

  12. At what point are we gonna realize one and dones don’t work here? Shit we had KD and didn’t make any serious noise. Maybe having two on the same squad would make a difference but our season would still rest on juniors and seniors if we’re gonna make a run.

What year in NBA talking about doing away with this dumbass rule, 2022? That’ll be a good day for college basketball.

Colt McCoy and Robert Griffin both nearly had their careers ended by huge hits. Both are pretty elusive and much bigger than Kyler Murray.

Good point. I can't recall KM getting rocked a bunch of times though. He seems to pass and miss the big hits, ducks down and take the L, or runs out of bounds.

Yeah dudes afraid of contact, watched him take a big loss multiple times last year instead of maybe getting hit. I guess counterpoint is they were never hurting for big plays to make up those yards with him back there.

  14. I love the “JIMBO WILL JUST GO GRAB ANOTHER 4/5*!!” narrative. Considering they’ve got more 3*s committed than 4/5*s, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say they’re way more likely to go grab someone like Barnard Wright as their replacement.

Maybe you should try beating Georgia like we did but first before talking about winning the SEC, you should try to finish higher than 3rd in your division, something you aggys haven't done in about 20 years and that includes the Big 12. 27-25

Stupid sip, Georgia didn’t care about that game, can’t you read??
