Meh. Let's take it a year at a time. They're a good team but they got taken to 7 twice. Like you said HOU and SA are just getting started and Jokic and Luka are still in the conference.

Also Minny... who knows with them.

we need a PG that can help with ball security against OKC whether its Sexton, Garland, Coby white etc. might be able to swing for one of those guys if we can trade Randle and move Naz up to starting PF.

    Will be tough.

Maybe Houston with KD.  If the Spurs grow up quickly maybe they have a chance.  And there's always the inevitable injuries that happen every year and every postseason.

But OKC looks like they'll be the favorites in the West for the foreseeable future.

fuck they return their entire team next year without any real contract issues. theyll start running into them when Chet and JDub are due for big raises in 26/27

Turner doing his best to throw this shit away at the FT line.

    Come the fuck on, man.

It's Middleton but Caruso has an argument for 2nd. Him and DeAndre Jordan.

The jump ball in the NBA is such a ridiculous and archaic means of determining possession. Half the time the officials struggle to toss a good ball and then another half the time the taps are stolen. In fact, that's the means now to controlling the jump.

This should have been eliminated years ago.  Do a ceremonial jump ball if you must at the beginning of the game. From there, alternate possessions.

    Easy.

settle it like men..paper rock scissors best out of 3

Its hard to say no when its game 7 of the NBA championship. You dont get many chances at that.

hell of a dice roll knowing your 25-26 season is essentially fucked too.

  6. I don’t think Cam has played enough to figure out what they have yet.the assumption is he’ll get a ton of minutes with Green gone. I dunno. He doesn’t defend well and he’s butted heads with Ime for a couple of years now. Obviously they either have to play him a lot more or trade him.

He just doesn’t pass and get assists…and it’s almost a shot per minute.

I think they would have beat LA. GS with Curry was a pretty good team and what Houston did to them over 7 games cost them the Minny series. Those guys were physically wiped after that.

It may depend on the next jump Amen makes but Durant is so much better than Green for what they need. Playing Whitmore over Brooks shouldn't be much of a drop-off, either - or maybe they get some Sheppard minutes now.

I mean Houston is fucking loaded and if KD can stay healthy this immediately solves their biggest issue.

i may be the minority here but Id hate cam whitmores game. Houston probably couldve unloaded him to PHX and been better off replacing him with a veteran. I think Brooks is infinitely more valuable than Whitmore. obv hes more experienced and if you look pass the villain BS he trys to portray...id rather have him

Swinging big for a star has consequences. I guess they have a finals appearance to show for it 🤷‍♂️

that was before the KD/mikal trade lol. Booker and CP3 were the headliners of that finals team. Its all been down hill for PHX since they blew like a game 3 lead vs MIL to go up 2-1. literally nothings gone right for them

Similar to retrospectively analyzing the Deshaun Watson trade, I took a peek at the James Harden trade to see how it stands today:

    Rockets received:

    • 2021 pick swap - Not utilized
    • 2022 #17 pick - Tari Eason
    • 2022 Miami pick swap for Oladipo - Not utilized
    • 2023 pick swap - Not utilized
    • 2024 #3 pick - Reed Sheppard
    • 2025 pick swap - traded back to Nets
    • 2026 FRP - traded back to Nets

    From second Nets trade:

    • 2025 Suns pick swap (#10) - traded back to Suns
    • 2027 Suns FRP
    • 2029 pick swap with best of Suns/Mavs

So the net transaction thus far is:

    • James Harden, Jalen Green, and Dillon Brooks, for
    • Tari Eason, Reed Sheppard, KD, 2027 Suns pick, 2029 swap with Suns or Mavs

    and phoenix:

The Phoenix Suns turned 4 unprotected firsts, 1 unprotected swap, Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson & Jae Crowder into...Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the 10th pick in this year's draft and 5 seconds
