Or maybe we don’t throw stones in our glass house.
Brexit foretold of a rightward populism that resulted in Trump being elected here.
God help us if this foretells Trumps reflection.
Counterpoint (hopefully), before the 2020 Election we had both Brazil elect Bolsonaro in 2018 and the Conservative Party absolutely crush the Labour Party in the UK December 2019 general election. Biden still won.
This could just be Argentina's version of 2016. They are pissed off and are willing to give the nutjob a chance because "how could it get worse" or "he'll tone it down once he's in office." The U.S. voters already saw how that worked out first-hand.

Riley really wishing he could have put off firing Grinch till the end of the season. No more scapegoats left and the defense is still absolute trash.

I think Kelly's tenure has run its course, but I don't believe the administration is going to get rid of him. It's like we're running in place with him at the helm.
Finishing the season with 3-4 losses has been UCLAs ceiling for 20+ years now. Admin gonna fire Kelly for achieving that while beating USC? He's getting at least another year.

It's pretty obvious their QB situation is a result of them letting Rodgers call the shots. What a pathetic organization. They would have been better off not even getting him.
So who did it better:
Seattle foisting Russell Wilson on Denver or Green Bay offloading Rodgers to New York?

Sorry, Atl fans.
One step closer to getting Arthur Smith fired for Atlanta fans. He was letting top-10 picks go severely underutilized even before Bijan (Pitts and London). I'd like to believe he finally realized what Bijan could do with more touches (don't need to necessarily make him a workhorse like prime Emmit Smith), but he's probably just doing it because enough people yelled at him behind the scenes and he's out of options. Lose enough to get him fired this offseason and hire someone who will actively look to utilize Bijan, Pitts, and London on a regular basis.

Fucking wtf . I've never thought Narcism was a legal strategy but here we are. For those lucky enough to never have experienced it :
1. That didn't happen.
2. And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
3. And if it was, that's not a big deal. <-we were here yesterday
4. And if it is, that's not my fault.
5. And if it was, I didn't mean it.
6. And if I did, you deserved it.At this rate we're going straight from 3 to 6 by tomorrow by the end ofnthe game
Didn't North Carolina pull a similar stunt with their fake classes and grades a few years ago and basicslly got off with no punishment? Of course in their case they simply said the NCAA wasn't the proper organization to hand out punishment for their diploma mill tactics.

I know NFL teams don’t value the RB but it’s incredible how shitty Tony Pollard is as an every down back compared to how he was used last year. I can’t remember the last tackle he broke within 5 yards of the LOS.
Dallas (Jerry) apparently still insists on giving rbs touches based on how much they get paid as opposed to how they'd be most effective. It's maddening. He waits till the season after the injury to give Pollard touches because that's when he's getting paid more.

people keep saying that but it is extremely rare to have an NFL RT ole his DE over and over in a game. QB’s are anticipating their RT at least getting in the way briefly. Or at least falling down and tripping the guy.Counterpoint, by the time of the last sack, there was ample evidence that Dak shouldn't be relying on the RT position and should pay more attention to a rush getting to him quickly from that direction.

I mean, are Secret Service just sitting there watching this? Can you go spray paint the gate of Buckingham Palace?
Again, that crowd, and probably other crowds around the U.S. depending on circumstance, should be dispersed and possibly arrested.
At the same time, no one should be surprised at these situations when the government does everything short of cheer on an ongoing genocide.
The options here are not only let genocide slide or claim Israel has no right to defend itself.

Out of line? Yes. But at the same time it looks pretty shitty of Biden to largely sit back while borderline genocide is happening. Maybe he's using stronger language behind the scenes, but publicly it sure looks like he's just going through the motions of asking for Israel to pull back a bit. Like a parent asking a fussy toddler to behave once, and when they say no, throwing up their hands and saying "I tried, what more do you want me to do?"

10-7 or 9-8 with a lopsided loss in the WC round appears to be a mortal lock for Pittsburgh for the 4th-5th season in a row.

I mean AJ Brown just set or tied the record for most games in a row over 125 yards receiving, but go ahead and trade him lol
...yeah maybe I should stop overthinking things and just roll with the guy setting records. My track record of proposed trades isn't great this year. I offered up CMC and AJ Brown after week 4 for Bijan and Tyreek Hill (could stack Hill with Tua at qb) because I was convinced Shanahan was overusing CMC (true) and that he'd fall apart before the season ended (still time for this to happen, but in the meantime...hello more records). Bullet dodged.

Trade proposal, non-ppr:
- Give up A.J. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs
- Get Ja'Marr Chase and Isiah Pacheco
Initial reaction was I'd rather keep Brown and Gibbs, but now I'm not so sure. Chase and Brown are largely a wash now that Burrow is healthy IMO, and I have to assume Montgomery and Gibbs split time after this week (bye week). Montgomery was too effective prior to the rib injury to just hand the backfield over to Gibbs. I have Burrow as well, so I'd be stacking him with Chase going forward. Thoughts?

At some point Bobby, Osborne, Mack and others that had long runs sucked as times changed. The guy asking the question said that after 2018 the arrogance set in and now it is FUPM. Question would be who has gone back to being elite after going off the cliff?

Speaking of Rojo, this has been piquing my curiosity for the last hour: Why did RoJo say "Texas City, Texas" instead of, "Texas" or "The University of Texas."
Is he ashamed of us? Mad? What's the deal?
I mean, I guess it doesn't matter. He still went here and did what he did. But it just seems odd.
Wasn't that his high school? Not that uncommon for players to use their high school in the intros.

Haha, fuck USC. They get a bullshit review of the review after the teams left the field for halftime, get gifted a 33-yard fg attempt, and shank it.

Nice stat padding by Williams on that last throw. Waited until 3 seconds left to throw to a guy in the middle of the field at the 20-yard line so they had no attempt at a fg.

Sounds like the House Republicans need to hand out a consulting contract to the Ol Ball Coach, given his expertise in rotating in personnel on a basis that makes no sense.

While all that would be fun, they'll still just blame the democrats. Not sure if you've been paying attention, but this is all the fault of the Democrats. So will be them shutting down government to those voters.
I mean, yeah, the core lunatics will always blame the Democrats because that's what they're told, but at least this time around it looks like more of the middle group/undecideds isn't buying that line of bullshit, which is all that really matters in the coming election. The Republicans seems to even be doing a great job of alienating some of their "moderates." Maybe not to the point that they vote Democrat, but maybe they just don't vote in say, the presidential race during the general election.

NFL Week 12

At least one team in each game has played well. Improvement from the typical cripple fight we've seen most Thursday games this year.
