Yes because data misinterpretation is the same as Palin spewing racist and homophobic diarrhea. Both sides!
Who, besides you, said it was the same?
There are other aspects to this than racism/homophobia, if you care to look at it. And it seems that you don't.

Again, why is she a bonehead? Because she has big ideas on how to fight something that 97% of scientists agree on or because she fucked up the DoD's budget numbers?

I agree with everything you said except the bolded part. I do think she's a bit of a dreamer, and she has handled this much better than Trump would have. But I still think she comes off as not fully understanding the weight of what she's saying. Not understanding exactly what she's trying to fix or even how to fix it.
Yes she wants to learn, and that's great. She also needs to probably look deeper or do a bit more research before jumping into something with both feet(like the DOJ budget stuff where a little "deeper" look would have stopped her from getting attacked)
AOC is very earnest, I'll give her that.

the underlying problem is ignorance. we have decided, as a society, to no longer value the ability to think critically.
Hear, hear.
In politics and religion.

I like her, too, but she's kind of a bonehead who takes herself too seriously and who has neither (imo) the intellect nor the fortitude to do great things.
She will (again, imo) take 1 step forward and probably 1.5 steps back most of the time.
She is not what the Democratic Party needs.

Trump is the minor problem.
The major problem are those who voted for him and especially still support him.

Is he dead yet?
I’m hoping he goes the way of another old asshole who croaked, just as the dragnet was scooping him up...JoePa.
More McDonald’s, fatass.

I like my heroes not to be blown up on Omaha Beach.
Heel spurs for the win.

Harris? No way in hell.
2020 will be the Year of the Beto.
Let's just hope that Trump is running.

it's never ok to knowingly/intentionally harm someone to further the name of Jesus. what you see chau doing/did as willingly harming them i see as him doing everything he could in his power to NOT harm them while fulfilling his call.
WTF?
Really, WTF?
Is this an example of self-brainwashing? Of always twisting the facts so that you'll never experience cognitive dissonance?
Critical thinking, this is not it.

how did Beto not beat this guy?
As the line in "I Love You Phillip Morris" goes: fucking Texas.

It’s amazing Dick Cheney is still alive.
I was thinking the same of Mondale.

He doesn’t just not speak. He doesn’t do social media like Don Jr. or Ivanka. He doesn’t release written statements either. His silence is clearly strategic and not about embarrassment.
He's a moron and he knows it and keeps his mouth shut?
If so, that makes him the smartest of the bunch.
Yeah, no.

since God is basically responsible for Satan, he should get all of ole luci's bodycount too, right?
Probably.
That's akin to thanking God for curing someone's cancer, but forgetting that he gave it to the person in the first place.

It's gotta be weird for the Donald (and admittedly, I do feel a tad sad for him)...to know that he'll probably attend the funerals of both H.W. and Carter (not to mention two first ladies and a state funeral for McCain)...and see what it means for a nation to put aside bullshit to come together to mark the lives of remarkable leaders who gave their all to the Republic. And even a sociopath like him has to know his grave will be danced upon and his casket will lie in State in the Capitol only due to formalities. And like Franco in El Valle de Los Caidos, most will come by just to make sure he's still dead.
I respectfully disagree.
Trump will not have such feelings of sadness or regret. He's a (now, mentally impaired) cut throat businessman. He's not a leader of our country.
He probably calculates that his NPV of being President > the costs associated with it, and he's all right with that.
Feel sad for Trump? Nah.

I can see why.
Let's do a quick body count: who killed more people in the OT, Satan or God?

If you’re a gun manufacturer, do you want to spend money with the NRA at this point, knowing that really bad stuff is probably going to come out?
It's ok.
Those gun mfgrs would have my thoughts and prayers.

Hmm, so the Russians gave money to the NRA who then gave it/some to Trump?
Would that include part (or more) of the very large ($17 million) "donation" that the NRA received last year?

No almost about it. My congressman was actively advertising his F rating from the NRA in the last election.
Wow.
Which district, if I may ask?

My GREATEST need? I'm not entirely sure.
But it seems that "the need to not be killed by a fucking arrogant missionary" needs to bump up several slots, especially for certain folks.
This is Monty Python quality stuff right here.

That is some messed-up fundamentalist stuff right there. He's just some hard-line Muslim who happened to be raised a Christian.

I don't think so in this case. The NRA is already hurting financially. It wouldn't be a shocking if the Mueller Report finishes them off.
Interesting how far the NRA has fallen. In some (and more) areas it's almost become an asset to say the NRA has given you an "F" rating.

The mentality of it's ok to kill the person (body/temporal vessel) because we're saving the soul (eternal) is similar to the Catholic view (still think it's their view, but maybe not) that it's ok to let the mother of 9 kids die rather than have an abortion b/c the mom (presumably) has been been saved but the fetus has not (yet).
It's better to have 9/10 kids be motherless, you know.
