You see how that kid is alive?  You think he'd be alive if he was armed?  You think Johnny Sack is going to join with you or defend you?  If he comes out of his house at all, it will be to try to wipe you out.  That's my point about US gunowners.  You won't be a unified insurgency.  In Houston, you and Johnny Sack will be at war with one another while the gov't tries to restore order through violence.  The police in your pictures are doing that with Johnny Sack's support.

Man, you are quick on the draw, I'll give you that.

I think maybe that cop would not have been so quick to 'oppress' the kid if he and his peers had been armed. It's a lot easier terrorize people when you know they won't shoot back. Ask the KKK.

And whether it's against Johnny or an out of control government entity, I'd still rather be able to defend me and mine.

  2. I'm in favor of a Red Flag law or a Gun Violence RO. That would have stopped at least two of these mass shootings and who knows how many murder-suicides.

We just need to be cautious in how easily we allow someone to be 'flagged' because we know humans can be vindictive/petty assholes. And also you're asking the government to do their job, which doesn't always work out so well.

  3. SAF is the true blue gun group, IMO. They do good work behind the scenes, while the NRA gets the spotlight. Which is good, because it keeps the crazy asses(left and right) away.

  4. Da hell, gentlemen?

No Audie Murphy movies? The Texican w/ Broderick Crawford and Ride a Crooked Trail.

I'll add Seven Men from Now and Coroner Creek both with Randolph Scott.

And you can't take great westerns without mentioning Fort Apache(Fonda/Wayne) and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.

  5. I just caught the last page of the derailment, but it seems as if you guys are confusing Civil Rights with Affirmative Action. Yes, I know AA is covered in the CRA. But, AA is discussed singularly the majority of the time, IMO.

The CRA was needed if nothing else, just to end the discrimination from government entities.

I'm just thankful that I'm not intelligent enough to not see the progress that my elders, their descendants and peers have made since passage. Of course, things are not perfect(and never will be), but only a fool looks back on the last 54 years and sees a stalemate.

I’m all for holding leakers accountable but the fact that this girl is still sitting in a Georgia jail awaiting trial for attempting to inform the American people on the severity of Russia’s attack on America while Hillary keeps falling down, Michael Flynn walks free and Paul Manafort sits at home with an ankle bracelet is pretty disgusting.

    Her trial isn’t until October.

Let’s hope she gets a fair trial.

  7. Whatever happened to just snorting cocaine? Why do these kids always have to take it to that next, dumbass level?

Viral videos posted on social media show teenagers snorting condoms as part of a so-called "condom snorting challenge."

In the videos, teens put an unwrapped condom up one of their nostrils and inhale until the condom comes out of their mouth. Like other viral challenges, the condom snorting challenge has been around for years but recently reemerged on social media.

In San Antonio, Stephen Enriquez, who teaches drug and alcohol prevention to parents, has also started to teach parents about dangerous online trends like the condom snorting challenge, KABB-TV reported.

"Because these days our teens are doing everything for likes, views, and subscribers," Enriquez told the station. "As graphic as it is, we have to show parents because teens are going online looking for challenges and recreating them."

  8. Not worried, just disappointed. I understand this is the end of the season and everyone is ready for the postseason. But, SA is a top-shelf organization and these are the types of games that you send a message in. Especially since your opponent will be coming at you on a higher level. You have to meet that intensity because that's what the playoffs will be like every game.
