and Rickey's biggest accomplishment was overshadowed by Nolan.

First, in his career, Henderson was 2 - 17 against Nolan, with 5 strike outs, for a whopping .118 average.

Finally, on the very day Henderson broke Lou Brock's all time stolen base record... that night, Nolan threw his 7th no-hitter!

    He was Nolan's bitch.

To be fair, Nolan had a lot of bitches

Is there any chance that we could stop derailing this thread?  I'm just curious.

Well the rollercoaster cart isn't quite back on the tracks yet...   But, it will be in just a few more days.

But Tom was spot on with his pre-season "no filter takes" and predictions:

With such a rich history of 12-0 seasons so let's just go with that.  You know, the whole softest SEC schedule they've ever had...  Let's not go with the more realistic 9-3 or 10-2. Much less with let's say, hmmmm the turditional 8-4 seasons they have been defined by their entire existence.

Even coming off a playoff year, our fan base was in the 9-3 to 11-1 range. I don't think I saw very many (if any) 12-0 predictions.

    Stay aggy forever please.

Hahahahaha.    I'm too lazy to look up archives,  but there were those in shaggy who called for Colt to be benched his Sophomore year.  Granted, he was playing with a shoulder injury that had his deeper throws being under thrown which led to a few ints.

It was his Sophomore year, he had 22 tds to 18 ints.   I even remember some bitching because we didn't land Chase Daniels instead of Colt.

No one was ever calling for Snead to start. Colt was in Heisman contention as a freshman.
