The A&M portion of the montage should be Luicci and Sharp on opposite sides of a glory hole. Liucci pulls back, wipes his mouth off with his sleeve, and bellows "gig  em, ags" to which Sharp responds with a few girlish whoops and maybe a horse laugh for good measure.

I'm pretty sure they would end up tongue tied instead.

Pac 2 not going away just yet.  OSU/WSU about to finalize a scheduling alliance with the MWC, paying them $14 million to drop to 7 conference games and schedule one with OSU/WSU.  Because they keep existing ooc games, Washington St. will play 8 MWC games next year while MWC members will only play 7!

Seems like a lot of trouble to go through just to pretend to be in a power conference.  They should have been talking to people instead of suing.  Don't think anyone would begrudge them power CFP money for 2 years.  And at least from public statements, it seems like the dispute with the 10 Pac is current year revenues, which the WSU president previously said HAD to be distributed ratably.

Don't bang the ugly chic publicly, then claim you banged a solid 8 ir you're just get butt hurt and cry when everyone tells you a borderline 3 is being way generous...ND banging the ACC is not the same as banging the MAC (on paper at least).

Everyone pays the MAC to bang them, including ND.

Speaking of bringing it, Michael Penix was recently asked what he remembers about last year's game against Texas..

"I don't remember anything, just that we won"

Hopefully Sweat, Murphy, Hill, Burke etc can help him truly not remember this one either? Of course he can later be reminded of the loss.

The uncut part of that was nothing but praise for Texas on both sides of the ball.

You guys are weird man so I am going to put you all in one post. Up top it is said that even in completed passes receivers are often skying for the the ball. Where? He threw a 50/50 ball to Mitchell in the Bama game that he caught. Who else has caught anything like that this year? Worthy hasn't caught a ball like that in the last 2.

You guys just take things for granted. The guy rarely misses short to intermediate throws.  He throws the middle of the field better than anyone that I see in CFB. We struggle vs one style of defense. Just so happens a lot of the teams we play against employ it. However, look at how Quinn has played vs anyone willing to not have 3 safeties over the top of our receivers.

Penix below threw it 37 times for 309 yards and only 2 balls were thrown between the hashes. Both of them slants. Penix is in a wide open offensive system that forces defenses to be 1v1 all the time. He is rarely ever fitting balls into coverage windows. His throws, while great, are 90% one on one coverage. The video below is all his throws vs Oregon. He throws some absolute darts. However, he sails balls long and wide all the time. He also throws some "trust" balls that his receivers come down with. On throws like that we've made this year only one person has come down with one. Quinn has made some spectacular throws that we have dropped as well. First example is the throw up the sideline to Worthy vs Bama that he fit between two defenders that would've been a TD if not for the drop.

Now for the sake of comparison lets look at Quinn vs the two best defenses he has played with 4 down linemen, Bama and OU. I say that because that's what you are going to see in the NFL. No one is going to run 3 down and drop 8 every play in the NFL because they would get mauled in the run game. So these are the kinds of defenses you would see him go against. These are every throw vs OU and Bama. I want you to notice there are not that many errant throws. In fact, some of the aforementioned "high throws" had to be that way in order to get over hands or defenders underneath. The Sanders throw in the OU game had to be where it was or it gets batted down when you see the behind the QB view. QE is throwing a pretty accurate ball from all kinds of platforms here. We are all emotional about these games and tend to misremember how they went. Let me reiterate. QE only struggles vs the 3 high look, and no team should be able to run that on us with the RBs we've had the last two years. Anyone else we've played the last 2 years who didn't employ it got lit the fuck up. QE, when not facing the flyover, is 132-186(70.96%) 1712 yards 11 TDs 3ints. That is why everyone we play is rolling out the flyover. They would rather face Brooks and the running game than Ewers. You guys may think QE is mediocre, but opposing DCs disagree.

I'm starting to think that there's a lot of people on here that only watch highlights of other games and see all the pretty little throws and catches ...  They done see the missed throws to open receivers, they don't see the over throws, and assume that all the other QBs are going deep 35 for 35 every game.

Quinn's accuracy from any angle has  been a huge factor all season.  He misses throws like every single person who's ever played QB has done also.  But he makes throws from arm angles that not many others can make.

Vince and Colt are god's.  Vince without his legs is just another above average QB who's played college ball.   Colt accuracy was generational.  It helped having Shipley that would catch anything withing 10 of him.  He'd go up and catch some balls way over his head.... and Colt had plenty of interceptions also.

Name one true freshman who's started at Texas (or anywhere if you like) that's been light years ahead of Quinn 14 games into their college career.  It's not a long list. There's been plenty who have come in that have been on par with Quinn and plenty who had a rough start.  Plenty of those turned out pretty good.  Yes, johnny fuckin football...  Johnny boy didn't give two shits about aggy, much less about playing for aggy or not, which makes it so much easier to play the games as if it's just another back yard Sunday afternoon. Run around until you are finally in trouble, then chuck it down field in Evan's general location.

I'm not sure we've had a QB since Colt who would have us 6 - 1 this season. Much less their Sophomore year.  He's not perfect by any means, but he should be 2- 0 against Alabama and OU.    He handed OU it's biggest loss against us in a 49 to zip woodshed....  He lit up OU in a three point loss that came down to shitty red zone play calling, and shitty 2 min defense.

He hasn't hit the long ball like some have this year, but most of them haven't hit the other throws or avoided the turnovers like Quinn has either, which is much more important than the deep ball. Even this year's golden boy has been benched.

Arch Manning’s “people” which include two SB winning QBs and a grandfather who just happens to run a prestigious QB camp told him to play his senior year of HS. Told him to play all four years of college before going pro. Wanted him to sit and learn his freshman year of college and to stay and graduate and also to play his whole time here. To learn under Sark.

Quinn’s people (or QE makes all his own decisions) told him against Ohio State’s advice to not play his senior year of high school, and to allegedly leave early for the NFL.

If we were talking about any other position but QB, either approach could be the right  one. Now with NIL kids don’t have to leave early to get paid. QE is making money. We know he’s talented but now he’s been injured three times since his junior year of HS where he has missed and possibly will miss a few games.

At the start of the season he was a top 3 QB. Now many of the mock drafts I see online have him not only after Maye and Caleb. They also have him after Penix and McCarthy. If he misses significant time (we all hope not) and we don’t make the CCG and CFP this year, there will be more hype for the QBs that are in it and eyeballs on them. He’s already out of the running for a Heisman as is Caleb who probably regrets he stayed his final year but he’ll be compensated as a number 1 pick.

TLDR: I think Arch’s people are giving him better advice than Quinn’s people and Arch’s people actually know what the fuck they are talking about and have the receipts to back it up.

I'm not sure what shows you've been watching, espn, on3.. ect, are big on Quinn.  dillhole from USC was a shoe-in to reapeat... well, he's kinda fell out of contention.  Prime Jr. jumped into the mix, he's unmixed now.  Quinn is still in the conversation and hasn't done anything to hurt that.  We are 6-1 with a 3 point loss to OU on a coverage breakdown in the last few seconds.  It wasn't Quinn who lost us the game.  He's having a sophmore year that's much better than Colt's sophmore year and that's without having a RS year in the system to learn before taking over.

That throw to X-Man is why the NFL likes his upside. most QBs need a windup to throw that. Quinn just flicked his wrist and the ball materialized in Worthy's hands. It's hard to get into position to  defend against that.... He used to hit those in HS consistently. I think the expectations he/we put on him fucked with his head some, but like a great batter going through a slump, they eventually snap out of their own head...  He isn't an interception matchine. He gets sacked (alot is the system a lot of the stretching the field Sark likes to do, are slow developing plays that require the O-line to hold...  which doesn't always happen.  But at least he doesn't cough up the ball often, nor does he panic and just throw it up for grabs like many do.

Sark's system revolves around the QB play heavily, and for someone with like 14 games in the system, he's handled it just fine.  Yes he had great support. So has many others who have started as true freshmen....   Especially when they've played behind a very green O-line like he did last year. Hell, the o-line is still raw this year and prone to mistakes which isnt surprising.  It takes time to develope a good line.

It's like everyone expected super MVP Payton Manning QB play and not a true freshman, just graduated kid as the starting QB...  Vince had his struggles..  Colt had his (not so much his RS freshman year thanks to an NC supporting cast around him, but his sophmore year was almost as rough as Quinn's freshman year.  Vince came into his own his Sophmore year after redshirting.  Colt came into his own his Junior year after redshirting.  Quinn hs like 14 college games under his belt.  he has the talent to be really good, he just needs more experience )(and experienced line).

I think next year (IF he for some reason came back) would be when everything came together and we would see why everyone is so high on him.  even if he doen't, the O-line will be baked which will help whoever starts

There is so much that is wrong about this. No one at the university wants harbaugh gone. He is great for michigan. As far as the fast tracking.... Michigan has 90 days to respond to any notice from the ncaa, which means they do not even have to respond to the complaint until after the playoff is over.

One guy who works for Eastern Michigan is the person who hates Harbaugh, he graduated from Michigan. Harbaugh is always a net positive for Michigan as long as he is there. He bought himself a ton of good faith by taking the pay cut, and then donating all of his bonuses to staffers impacted by covid. He will be at Michigan for as long as he wants to be.

We will see.  He's great for the university until he get's them nailed.  Michigan isn"t aggy or Baylor, nor do they want a 2 year ban from playoffs, especially with the expanded coming next year.  This isn't a little infraction.  This could set Michigan back worse then the App St fiasco did.

colt did not lead our team in rushing by design, he did so because we had no RB’s and our o line had him running for his life every play. our 2008 team, one of the 3-4 best Texas teams ever, didn’t even know who it’s starting RB was until Chris Ogbonnaya serendipitously took over the role after a breakout performance the week before vs Colorado. our recruiting and talent development post-NC was just incredibly lazy and overall poor.

It goes to show just how much of a badass Colt really was.  No running threat in our backfield, an offensive line that used bootlegs on a regular basis.  It was safer for Colt to slide right or left of the pocket unprotected than it was to stay in it....  He couldn't throw the deep ball at all, so defenses knew the pass was going to be between 5 to 15 almost always, and still couldn't react fast enough to keep him from hitting recievers.  Colt fucks

The NCAAs not going to do shit. Joe Brady was pretty vocal about Brent Venables on his way out of LSU, nothing ever came of it. Brent has a reputation of it. Hell, his defenders were flat footed in the Cotton Bowl sitting on routes in the first half a couple weeks ago.

The University is going out of their way to cooporate while Harbaugh is playing dumb...  The University wants him gone and he's ready to bail back to the NFL.  So there might be more than just recruiting during the COVID shutdown and sign stealing.   The NCAA is fast tracking this one so they can drop the hammer this season before he bails.

This one might leave a mark on Michigan.

Oh, I get that; it would be like going from the english to sanskrit in midseason.  But no one is going to take that risk playing Michigan.  Hell, they may just go full huddle on offense if it needs to be done.

Exactly.... advantage Michigan!  And it's both sides of the ball.  Defense is playing the run...  or blitz coming... that's probably bigger than the O-side.  Maybe there's a reason they suddenly became so dominant?   Thry probably should have spent more time on TCU's signals instead of spending it all on Georgia.  lol.

Changing signals at this point of the season will be a tall step.  I think they only have 20 hours to practice a week which really isn't enoough as it is.

no one is denying the rumors, i’m sure there was a person or five at every watch party who though colt could have returned but was worried about his draft stock. we all know that *some* people believe this. it’s your refusal to own the fact that you’re insinuating that it his is the truth that has people giving you the middle finger (btw, am i the only one who thinks we should other neg reps besides ‘fuck you’?). you’re trying to say that colt could have returned but chose not to without owning it. if you don’t believe that’s what happened then stop posting it as nauseam.

Colt wanted to come back in.  He cried when he was told he couldn't. His dad was against it and so was Mack and the medical staff because he had no feeling in his arm for an extended period (still not right after the game ended) and they had no idea of the extent of the injury.

Well, that plus all the schools changing everything they have done up until now, plus the network has ceased to exist (wonder who is going to sell the unused tix for other games the rest of the season?) so yeah; I'd expect Michigan to be a little more subdued.

It's not so easy to just change the signals suddenly on both sides of the ball.  It's almost like learning the plays all over again. I can see ne signals being an issue in uptempo and hurry up situations especially.

Nah - this screams Ohio State to me.  And I despise Ohio State and always root for Michigan in that rivalry.   But if Ohio St and/or boosters spearheaded this I am absolutely here for it.

I'm glad someone did.  Supposedly they've done this to over 15 schools, so it's not just against conference rivals. Which means, I hope we've changed our signals before the game next year....

Ding ding. Compare them in total starts not just 7 games of one season. Dumb stat is dumb. @The_Great_Hornsby was right.

Colt’s freshman season is better than anything Quinn has shown to date.

Quinn played his sophmore year, missed almost half his junior year. and skipped his senior year in HS.  those last 2 years of HS is when QBs usually develop the most and come into their own.

He sat out basically 2 years before his first college start as practically a true freshman in a new system for him and didn't get a full season in then either.  He's like 3-4 games of playing time into his sophmore season.   He's been behind the curve his entire college career and is doing good without even taking any of that into consideration.

He would've had to tank this season for the NFL to shy away from him because the analyst see him as green still with his best football still being a couple of years out.

After the stretch we had between Colt and Sam, Quinn is doing great.  There is no reason to rush Arch because the Manning family is in no hurry to get him into the NFL, so it's likely they'll push for him to follow Payton's and Eli's lead and play through his senior year. They sent him here knowing he'd likely redshirt this year.

Not all.  But there is already a group who are starting to question.  FSU was the same,  hell we were the same with Mack.....

Granted, when winning, the vast majority don't question shit, but when you can find the fee posts or responses to posts on social media in the middle of the streak they have been on as of late, there tends to be a lot more who are also getting uneasy about what is going on for real....

I moved from Michigan a few years ago, but still have friends and family there.  From what I hear, this newest thing has put a little rift between the boosters.  There are a few who believe that if this turns out to be more than just a simple investigation, Harbaugh is headed back to the NFL and the University will wish him the best...

Harbaugh is a good coach. He does what he can to gain every advantage... ... And there is a lot of Michigan people who think he's guilty of this.  Not everyone pulls a Baylor with their fingers in their ears until there's no more denying, much less an aggy, who refuses to see anything no matter what until the corch hasn't led them to their "natty" after 5 years.

He's done something to piss off  the NCAA.  They haven't done this much "investing"  since who knows when.

Exactly! Just as a 3B Coach in Baseball, all the signs, but the crucial sign is the “key” to signal the “true sign/signal”. Look at every FB sideline and there are multiple “visual” signs going on, but which one is the “true” one?

Unless Michigan tapped into Rutgers’ headsets, while at the Big House, then the NCAA has NO questionable problem! Hell every team has a GA with binoculars in the PB looking for signs, to see if they can make sense out of the multiple signs shown to the field. It’s all a guessing game!

    Hook’em!!!

Big 10 coaches have been complaining about him doing this for a couple of years now.

It's not hard to key in on the real signal caller within a few plays.   Match up the signals with the plays on the field and code cracked.

Michigan fans are starting to get unhappy with all the smoke circling Harbaugh.   It reminds me of Jimbo with FSU.  The year after he won his NC, there was already FSU fans  not liking the flies surrounding his program...

Not all programs care to win at any cost.    *Cough* aggy *cough*

Wins over a meh Auburn (wins over UMass, Cal, and Samford) and a real shitty Arkansas ( wins over WCU and Kent State), NM St, and LA Monroe doesn't make up for getting blown out by the only decent team they've played.

They always believe they are going to be at Alabama, especially at home. They never lose qt home. Their 12th man advantage is too much for teams to handle... HAHA.

They really believe they will beat Alabama this year, based on tu doing so.  They can't help setting themselves up for those October setbacks. A September stumble and an October setback can only signify the sleeping giant is awakening so Georgia better look out.

It isn't going to happen but it would be funny if we were to meet in a bowl game...  How they are going to kick our asses and the excuses of why they are going to lose all in the same  paragraph....  and the sweet sweet aggy tears. God I've missed getting drunk off aggy tears.
