That was a bad loss. There was no need for a time out there anyway. Just go play the game. We had the momentum and the lead

Kidd is such an idiot.
You have to blame him. I mean you call s fucking time out to draw up a play and that's what you get? And jesus christ Brunson throws it in to KP, who was way outside the paint, way too late. Jesus fuck hit the rim there and it's probably game over

I meant going for two in the 4th quarter when you’re up 7 before the extra point. Say for example the score is 21-20 and the team that’s ahead scores a td. An extra point puts you up 28-20, but a 2 point conversion makes it 29-20 (a two score game) in the 4th quarter. If you don’t get it you’re still up 27-20. So the risk reward is heavily in favor of the reward in that situation. Doug Peterson started doing it a lot the year the eagles won the championship if I’m not mistaken, but people have been doing it since the dawn of time in Madden.
Ah ok and I agree.
My all time fav was many years ago aggy was playing Clemson and scored late in the game to go up by one. Instead of trying the conversion, they kicked the PAT and, of course, Clemson marched down into field goal range and won the game. I don't remember the year but it was Francionne(sic). Still maybe the dumbest coaching decision I have ever seen in a game

This is a fucking fact, man lol. That and going for 2 when an extra point would put you up 8 and a successful 2 point conversion would put you up by 9 late in a game. I swear that came from Madden and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.
Going for 2 in the first half almost always comes back to bite you in the ass.

It's really his only chance if he wants another ring. They went all in for AD but he is made of glass and inconsistent. Does he go back to Cleveland? lol.

So semi-serious question about the immigration thing. Why don’t you see Western Europeans immigrating in droves to take advantage of OP’s list? My extended German family has never once considered moving to the states despite all the taxes, regulations, socialized medicine, etc they have to “endure.” the US isn’t a point of ignorance for them, they vacation here every other year roughly and have seen more of the US than I have. TFG touched on this at one point complaining about the lack of immigrants not coming from shithole countries IIRC. We attract a fuck ton of immigrants, but they are usually coming from third world countries. Why don’t we see Europeans freeing themselves from the shackles of big gov’t to come to the US?
Because we're not giving enough free shit?

30 points on 36 shots in a 3 point happy era. Good lord. AI and Kobe are both blushing.

At this point, I am surprised when they actually win. They are a fucking mess.
Yeah they're fucked and for the foreseeable future.. I wonder what LeBron will do? Could he jump ship to a contender?

Coming up on 2 weeks treblevaxxed, which means all the 5G antibodies have kicked in? Internet speed still sucks. What the heck.
Compared to the unvaxxed (zero shots), how much lower are my chances of getting sick, hospitalized or dying?

Best not to throw a rookie QB to the wolves as long as possible. I know some QB's have overcome being a rookie and actually done well but it's been rare. Whom do you think have been the best at it?

Nice to find common ground. Though I wish we could agree that open carry is not consistent with peaceable assembly.
I agree, but it is the law. The first time I ever heard of open carry I thought it seemed like a crazy idea. However GG sneaking around with an illegally concealed Glock and a tear gas cannister is no better. The posters on this thread calling him a "potential hero" trying to stop an "active shooter" are just being obtuse or are truly stupid.

The Midwest is truly a hell scape of nativist idiocy now. They bitch about globalism and the decline of small locally-owned businesses while buying stacks of cheap Chinese-made clothes and mass-produced junk food from Walmart and Dollar General. They bemoan the lack of high-paying manufacturing jobs for high school dropouts and then vote for the assholes who busted the unions (and spew vitriol at politicians who might actually help them). They call themselves American patriots while waving Confederate flags and expressing coded support for Naziism.
It’s fucking depressing.

You mean like when GG decided to point his glock at KR? You're exactly right....he should not have done that.

Agree. And when you watch the full video, you even see that one of the officers has a 12 gauge -- a much more appropriate close-quarters weapon. That is, IF firing at that moment was necessary. Which it pretty clearly was NOT. The bad guy was NOT in the act of attacking anyone (he was 15-20 feet away from the previous victim, and headed away from her), his hands were on a weapon that was clearly visible and was NOT a firearm....shooting ANY gun at him at that moment was completely unnecessary, and wildly risky. Shooting THAT particular firearm, without ascertaining what might be behind your target, was beyond unnecessary, it was reckless and stupid.
But, he got to play Rambo, and that's what's really important here.
We don't always agree, but you are spot on here. You would think that an LEO would have had enough training to know better than to fire that type of weapon in a caliber known for high penetration indoors, especially given that he had other options. Again, cops are dumb and this one should face charges for killing an innocent little girl.

I would so much rather have Nash than Kidd. But then again, I'd take almost anybody over Kidd.
