Early notes from Bobby Burton (InsideTexas)
Spoiler- I did not see a single green jersey on the entire field. That's right. This team is HEALTHY.
Only player sitting out at all was Brooks Kieschnick's son, the walk-on offensive lineman.
- Savion Red was at practice. He worked as fifth or sixth team RB and was an upback on the lead punt team.
- Xavier Worthy, DeAndre Moore were primary punt returners. Tre Wisner also got a look.
- While Cole Hutson and Hayden Conner were running first team in pre-practice work, it was DJ Campbell who worked the most on tandem blocks with Christian Jones (Justin Wells mentioned this second part to me.)
- Andre Cojoe was at second team left tackle, ahead of Payton Kirkland.
- Jonathan Brooks looks terrific. He's the clear No. 1 RB. He's the most physically prepared and runs the plays most crisply.
- Isaiah Neyor is back. He has a huge brace on one leg. He did not appear to be favoring it.
- No drops from any of Jordan Whittington, Xavier Worthy or AD Mitchell that I saw. Casey Cain continues to transform his body - he looks slightly better again this year.
- Jalen Catalon looks healthy, moves quickly and could get a look at punt return.
- The defensive line was interesting. Ethan Burke has added *some* weight but still looks relatively light.for his position. Byron Murphy is impressive, and perhaps has even taken it up a notch.
- To no one's surprise, Jaylan Ford is the leader at linebacker.- 23

Sark’s press conference should be airing any minute now on LHN and TexasSports.com
We’ll also hear from both coordinators. That won't be live, but instead posted on Youtube later.
Here's a look at the fall camp depth chart from Jeff Howe on 247.
Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has had two full talent acquisition cycles to reel in blue-chip high school prospects and mine the NCAA transfer portal for gold in his effort to end the Longhorns’ stretch of more than a decade away from the top tier of college football’s national championship contenders. How Texas navigates a 12-game schedule in the regular season will ultimately determine what the program’s foundation as Sarkisian guides the Longhorns into the SEC in 2024, but Horns247’s depth chart projection for what things should look like when fall camp opens on Wednesday shows the head coach has the pieces in place to end the longest drought without a conference championship on the Forty Acres.
Ten starters are back on offense and a slew of standouts return to one of the nation’s most improved defenses in 2022, which helps justify the typical sky-high expectations Texas faces on an annual basis. The ability to publish a three-deep depth chart projection shows how effective the work of Sarkisian’s organization to turn over the roster has been and provides some measure of proof that the Longhorns are deep and talented to the extent that personnel shouldn’t hold them back in their quest for the program’s first Big 12 title since 2009.

Yeah, it feels like he's on that RB coach to HC trajectory.
Not sure that he wants to be a HC or even an OC tho. He might be like Bo Davis.
-
Should be favored in every game except maybe one if the program is on the right track.

I can vouch that the Bentonville-Fayetteville area is beautiful. The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is a pleasant experience, and I recommend anyone in the area for a bit of time to visit.
