Those guys lived a pretty miserable existence in the bubble without friends or family for months and brought us all a ton of sports joy in a miserable year.

I know what you're saying and it looks 'miserable' on the outside.....but when you're on a hockey team with great chemistry and making a run at the Cup, your teammates are your friends and family. These guys are going to look back at this years from now and remember it as one of the highlights (and lowlights) of their life.

When you're on a hockey team with a great group of guys, you carry that the rest of your life.

As Fred Shero once said 'Win today, we walk together forever.' Even with a loss, these Dallas players will have a bond from here on out.

    This was a great run.

Old barn had some of the best ice in the league.

No kidding. If you're referring to Northlands, great sheet.

Speaking of great ice....believe it or not...the old Fair Park Coliseum in the mid-90's. Like glass. Worst ice? Waco Heart a Texas Barn. Jesus.

Stamkos played 2:30 tonight. He’s not “back.”

Tampa is fucking loaded. They won 62 games last year and added some nastiness for this year. This has been the best team in the NHL the last two seasons. We probably aren’t still playing without the bubble environment. We’ve relied on grit and want-to — that wasn’t there tonight. We better find it quick or this thing is over by Saturday’s 10PM news.

Stamkos may not be 'back' but it's pretty impressive to pick up a geno in - what? - 2? 3 shifts? In comparison, Seguin had 21 minutes of ice time - more than Oettinger - and came away with a whopping 3 shots. That Tampa locker room is rocking having him back.

I think Dallas is done. Tampa is the better team.

  4. So we lost Jimi Hendrix 50 years ago today......a tremendous loss for music. Imagine what he would have created had we had another four years of his career.

What musician's death had the biggest impact on you personally?
