  1. Poor Trevor. His coach (who we don’t want) is a cuckold with wins over FCS Northwestern State (who?!), Louisiana Monroe, and Arkansas. Our coach is 4-1 with wins over Tulsa, USC (not the shitty SEC version), TCU, and Kansas State.
Aggy's best game is a loss at Kollie Field to a severely overrated ACC team.

  2. Might want to start a thread about our defense too.
They have sucked just as bad at times.

The defense is getting a break only because Tulsa dropped two TD passes. If either of those had connected, we'd be hearing a lot more about the defense.
  3. First kid starting at AISD next week.  I got a text for AISD alerts - is this shit real or some phishing scam?
Kid is going into the Mandarin Immersion program.  I looked at some workbooks/flash cards and it completely sunk in that I will be useless in trying to help him with any of the Mandarin stuff at all.  The symbols all look the same to me.  Hope that kid is smart.
They do send legit text messages. I don't know about the one you got obv.
  4. I've heard one testimony of being able to work out (lifting weights) after one week. Anyone else have to wait longer? I'm mainly referring to upper body (more reps, less weight) as I don't care about my lower body.
Shaw told me to wait a week before training upper body. I didn't feel ready after 1 week (still having pain at that point), so I waited more like 2 maybe 2.5 weeks. I'm now 4.5 weeks out, and I can do a full, heavy upper body workout without any issues.

  5. Shaw did mine four weeks ago. Overall, the experience has not been that bad, BUT:

    (1) the procedure itself was more painful than I thought it would be. Sort of like getting a cavity filled and learning part way through that you need more anesthesia or whatever. It hurt.

    (2) the recovery took longer than I thought it would. I needed a jock strap and pain meds (ibuprofen) for about 2 weeks. Even now, when I deadlift in the morning, I need ibuprofen that day and the next day.

Even so, it's not bad overall, and I'd do it again, no questions asked.
