I believe they draw 1-4. Then if you’re jumped you move back. Basically the spurs won the lottery 3 times with ~14% odds each time before Charlotte finally won the second pickThey draw for the first overall pick first, it is a set of four numbers drawn from ping pong balls 1-14. Every team has a certain list of 1000 number combinations in which they win if drawn.
Spurs won pick number one, then all fourteen balls are put back in the hopper and they do the same process for picks 2-4. The spurs number was picked twice again for the fourth overall pick but since they already had number one overall; the process is repeated until an eligible team's number is picked.Zach Lowe did a great insider piece on what happened. The first three numbers for pick the first pick were 14, 5, 8. Houston, San Antonio and Detroit have almost all the number combinations starting with 1 ,2 so 14 being picked first meant almost all the teams still had a shot. With only 11 numbers left in the hopper for the fourth and final ball, the Wizards owned six of the final 11 possibilities (ORL owned one, Portland owned one, Pacers owned one, Spurs owned one and not clear who the last team with a chance was). The final number was 2 which the Spurs owned and the rest is history.
Don't know if the future could be any brighter with the draft picks and cap space this team has. Go Spurs Go

Got the email, clicked on the link. Put 6 tickets to OU in the basket, pick the away games I think I can make. Go to the closeout page and nothing in the basket. Hit continue renewal, can't do that because you have things in the basket. So at some level I have things in the basket, but when I check it shows nothing again.
Tried on three different browsers, same result
looks like their site is down for me. I tried earlier and got a failure.

I think I have this shirt but it is a golf 1/4 zip. Here is the shirt but the nike logo is on the arm and it's missing the longhorn logo. Prob pretty easy to get a longhorn logo applied: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nike-Dri-FIT-Victory-Men-s-Half-Zip-Golf-Top-White-Black-Size-2XL/1079410760

Not from what I've read, maybe I'm interpreting it incorrectly but the only carry over seems to be the number of years someone has been a season ticket holder
Heres what I see:

It’s based on cumulative donations since 1986. A certain number of points for each $100 in addition to the 1 point for each year.

I have been a season ticket holder for 7-8 years now and never really paid attention to the loyalty points. Well finally logged into my account with the expectation to see all the points I accrued over the years. Well I finally clued into the fact UT only calculates points based upon what you spend in a single year (excluding the single point you get for every year you are a season ticket holder). So yeah, I'll always have shitty Tx-OU tix and no access to bama tix this year

It would be ideal if the LHF points could be figured out before season ticket renewals. My brother and I have season tickets and I'd much rather at least a portion of the $ I have to spend go to TOF instead of everything going to LHF.
I doubt LHF would ever allow you to shift the donation portion of the season tickets to TOF. I think the ask is that any extra money above and beyond the donation portion of season tickets accrues points like other general donations to UT.

To be clear, TOF agrees. The people donating $5/month to $5k/year are vital to make this thing become the machine we all want. The $5k-$50k/year are also critical. The DFW event, however for this time, was requested by a group guaranteeing a minimum of a large number. There will be more to come in DFW later this spring. I am pretty skeptical personally about the value of the first DFW meeting, but we’ll see. The Houston event already looks like immediate dividends are large and so is the new interest from previous fallow fields.
Do you have any insight into the plans to drive visibility in the $5-$10/month crowd? I setup a small recurring donation but I wouldn't have known anything about TOF if I wasn't on surly. I think I saw one email sent from Longhorn Foundation but curious how to spread the message beyond the LF members as that is where the real scale could be achieved

Tommy Rees hired by Bama as OC.
I don't get this one at all. I've never been impressed by him.
Rees runs a pro-style offense that is run first. Maybe Saban is sick of the spread; Saban also got a close look at Rees Offense in the playoffs two years ago. With that being said isn't Rees the third or worse target on Sabans list?

Working on it. Definitely top of our list, it’s more about tax implications than anything
They won’t get punished but the whole situation will be investigated (probably) and they are a part of it
'Let us unpack why you lost a player committed to you for over year...what did you do illegal?' nah, listen to Freemans interview today...ND and Texas aren't paying 'aquisition fees'. others are...it's that simple

Why would ND get investigated re: Bowen? Pretty clear they are playing a similar game to Texas. If there is any school outside of stanford and the ivys that aren't playing a pay for play it's ND. What probably happened is that when Dante Moore flipped to UCLA it freed up some capital that Oregon spread around hence all of the flips

To my knowledge Baylor and Notre Dame are both Nike Schools, Notre Dame in year 1 of that.
Notre Dame is under contract with under armor through 2024. Not a nike school yet...maybe that's why Oregon targeted them

I'll donate to this today; any idea if donations would count towards LHF loyalty points? Not a big deal one way or the other but a nice to have as I need better TX-OU Tickets

Ok I admit I’m north of forty (so I’m a man), but I’m going to need an explanation as to why acting like a cock is inferior to acting like a cockholster.
I mean…isn’t a cockholster just something that holds a cock? Like briefs? Or jeans? Or a pussy.
In that case, why not just call him a pussy?
Or is cockholster what the youngs call a pussy?
So much to learn.
Thanks in advance for the explanation.
Would you rather be South Austin or South Austin's Mom?

Censorship because you got your feelings hurt is taking it a bit too far.
yes freedom of speech exists but so do consequences if you act like a cockholster

Here's what the 'Nerds' don't get. The two things you can't teach a QB are Accuracy and Arm Talent. Ewers can make throws that few others in CFB can and he looks to be accurate doing it so far.
Like these dipshits think his first year in the offense as a redshirt freshman (age of a true freshman), and he should have command of the reads like a four year starter. Here's where these dipshits are lost, this is Ewers floor and he already look like one of the best QBs in CFB.

He was paid 6.2m in 2020 and 6.8m in 2021 (not including the buyout).
How many more years are left on the contract?

we won't know shit about the QB all week and I like that. I imagine that won't change until OU when Ewers magically plays. My guess is that Card, wright and roschon platoon until then. Is card really so injured he couldn't play again?

Looking at seats on StubHub and considering looking for seats that are somewhat shaded by the upper west side overhang. What row does the shade usually start on?
I'm in Section 7 and it hits row 60 at about 1:30-1:45PM. The higher your row is the earlier you get shade

As a hobby, I like to keep an eye on the secondary market for tickets for big UT games (RRS, Longhorn Bowl Games, etc); it seems like the secondary market for UT Bama is interesting. It's definitely a big game but prices look to be going down the closer we get to the game. My read is that alot of ticket holders who wanted to sell, aimed too high early on. That and the fact that much of the market doesn't think Longhorns have a chance has led to a softer market.
There also doesn't seem to be an army of Bama fans snapping up tickets. If I recall correctly, the ND game in 2016 was much more in demand

Was anyone able to buy more tickets this morning? It wouldn’t let me request any.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI tried right at 10am, got put in a virtual lobby which ended about 10 minutes later. Whatever tickets they made available sold out really quickly

All the players should take the money, even if they don't custom rosters will immediately fix those that don't within hours of the release. Hell there are still people creating custom rosters today for NCAA Football 2014
