  1. I'm not sure of that answer and doubt we will find it out. Mr. Foster is now dead from gunshot wounds while marching in the streets.
  2. From the NY Times article, one of the protesters said the City of Austin wouldn’t let them march in the streets. It appears they were marching without permit or public safety measures. “They don’t let us march in the streets anymore, so I got to practice some of our rights,” Mr. Foster told the journalist, Hiram Gilberto Garcia, who was broadcasting the interview live on Periscope. “If I use it against the cops, I’m dead,” he conceded.
  3. Greg Kelley can make this team better, whether there is a season or not. He isn’t going to help the team by starting at OLB. His story, what he went through, leading the team through a “life isn’t always fair, but suck it up and take control of what you can can control” mentality is what he brings to a team. His work ethic, his fight, his humbleness, his professionalism, etc... are what a team needs in and off season. Give him a locker, give him #49 or some other shitty number and get him positively influencing the team.
  4. I’m in it sure if it’s an overreaction. It seems like a good move to keep the team safe. Marches and protests in large crowds are a lot less dangerous as it relates to Covid than admitting an individual to the team. We have to draw the line somewhere for the safety of the team.

  6. Did the driver run red/turn first, or did a bunch of assholes start walking down the middle of one of Austin’s busiest streets first? Answer this correctly and you will know who instigated confrontation.
  7. I owned that the guy was not a stop and replied as such. It was hard to see on the iphone and I thought his lights were the car at the stop in the video. Not sure what other point you are referring to. Pedestrians don't have the right of way in the middle of a street as was mentioned in the post I responded to.
  8. It was hard to see on iphone. I stand corrected.
  9. Yep. I had to watch several times on iPhone screen to see that those are different headlights than the car to his left. I stand corrected.
  10. Driver races down Bevo Blvd, blows past a cop direct traffic on MLK and San Jac, or steams through a barricade then the driver is clearly at fault. If driver hits a pedestrian walking randomly in a normal, un-modified street 10 blocks south of the stadium heading to his car, then the pedestrian has responsibility. Why is this so hard for you?
  11. Then you haven’t watched the video. Or maybe you don’t understand what “blowing through a red light” means. Fact is, he was at a complete stop for several seconds before making a right turn on red.
  12. Those streets are blocked off, have cops directing traffic, etc... are you trying to say UT games havE no organized pedestrian/car traffic modifications? The two events are terrible comparisons.
  13. I’m pointing out that the protesters don’t have the right of way in the street. Some other poster was making that false claim.
  14. You mean organized marches, that have permits, road blocks, etc...? Or assholes who put everyone at risk and just walk down streets?
  15. He didn’t blow through a red. He was at a complete stop.
  16. I think this is the question you mean to ask? I feel pretty normal is saying that I wouldn’t walk down one of Austin’s busy streets because I might be hit by a car. Feel free to call that psycho, but you may want to look in a mirror.
  17. The videos I see have people walking all from curb to curb down Congress. I don’t see people walking within designated cone lanes. Do you? As a matter of fact, the only cones I see in the video from #17 post, the driver specifically drives around.
  18. This is just not true. When a pedestrian is crossing a roadway at any point other than within a marked crosswalk or within an unmarked crosswalk at an intersection, he or she must yield the right of way to all vehicles.
  19. How does right turn on red work? Curbside to curbside? Or is is against the law to make a right turn at all in red? Is it legal to just walk down the middle of the street on both sides of the road without traffic signals providing right away?
  20. Ok. Back to the facts. Who many shots did you hear? How many shots did the reporter say? I don’t need a “journalist” to tell me the facts. Do you? And KUT? Come on. Don’t try to make them out to be unbiased, legit media. You know better.
  21. The audio suggests this is an inaccurate account.
