  1. Another vote for all clad. We bought our set back when sets weren't 40% useless pieces, then added others as needed. A high percentage were bought just after christmas. They're expensive, but judicious shopping can get you a complete set without killing the bank. We're done buying cookware for the rest of our lives.

MMA is one of the few sports where a limited and manageable number of people need to be tested and isolated that could then give a much greater benefit to the social good.

Given the current scenario, I think that saying that this is a stretch would be a bit of a understatement....

Seriously, if the President were a doctor, he'd lose his license for what he did.

The fuckhead would lose any job he might hold, except, for some reason, being the President of the United States.

    He's killing my bourbon supply...

The Staub 4qt do very often go on sale at the $99 price. I know they've been there at most retailers during the last 3 Black Fridays. They're nice. If you're into kitchen quirks, the little replacement knobs they sell that are cast in the shape of various animals are a fun touch (for extra money).

Wife has the larger Staubs. She wants the smaller ones for artisan bread.  There's an offer for a free animal/fish/rooster knob if you spend $200 on the cookware. Yesterdays total - $199.96

Sorry for the lack of  response, was dealing with Idaho earthquake issues. Thanks to all that posted link. Looks like Natasha was wrong in saying this happened yesterday, article is based on events that occurred last week.

Has anyone posted the San Francisco stuff in the past hour? Six Bay Area counties are instigating shelter in place. 7 million people can leave home only for essentials until April 7. Essential businesses like docs and grocery stores stay open.

Well, kind of.....a good friend of mine works for a company that has 3  car dealerships in Silicon Valley,  and more in Southern Cal.  They have determined that their service departments qualify as "essential services" and will remain open.  The almighty dollar...

You wouldn't necessarily think so because it's in an off-the-beaten path location and it has such a plain name, but Monterey's Fish House is definitely my favorite seafood restaurant here. It's the kind of place where you wish every plate the wait staff comes by with were headed to your table. Unfortunately I didn't know of this restaurant sooner. But I've been spending time here this month and could eat there every day.

This is on  point...been going to Monterey for decades, Monterey Fish House for 3 years....have no idea what took me so long. Locals spot. Get reservations. Bar-B-Que oysters are the bomb!

I was there too, except it was at the Coliseum.  As was Neuheisel's 50-0 pasting.  I'm a glutton for punishment.

Okay, then I've got the wrong pasting....mine was @ the Rose Bowl...

Edit - Was the 2002 game, which was "only" 52-21....great birthday present....

UCLA then ended the season getting pasted something like 66-17 by USC.

Yup...Left my wife and mom in the Rose Bowl about half way into the third quarter, and went out to the truck to drain the bar...

    Wife drove home.
