  1. At least with Stroh it’s a giant body they have to step over.
  2. When you’re looking at a guy who is going to make a major step up in competition - I think it’s probably pretty important that he doesn’t look like me (no upper body to speak of, can barely squat his own weight, gets winded walking up stair). Yes, Flood probably fucked this up, but I also don’t think they should waste a scholarship just because they bought a kid a plane ticket and a steak dinner. Their are plenty of other backup OL in the portal.
  3. I wish my shit wasn’t fucked up - I’d like to pos rep this.
  4. Regarding the gnashing of teeth over ‘losing’ Wisner - prior to the aggy game Wisner was clocking in at a 3.9ypc average. Yes the OL was shit - but so was Wisner. If your RB needs perfect blocking to be productive, then he’s not a RB you should be allocating big resources for. Wisner looked like a replacement level back in 7 of the 9 games he played this year. Texas absolutely had to upgrade the position - whether they paid Wisner to stay or not.
  5. FWIW - Gerry/Bobby have said they think those two jumped the gun a bit. Sounds like there is interest on all sides but they haven’t come a figure both can agree on yet?
  6. Brown wouldn’t be the only RB add. They still need to bring a bigger more every down type of back - even if that guy has a pretty 50/50 split carry wise with Brown.
  7. FWIW - This morning Bobby confirmed what CTJ told us the other day - Texas got the Wyoming OL on campus and decided his actual body didn’t match his listing.
  8. Lacy signs to return to Ole Miss for next season. Nice keep for that new staff.
  9. Raleek Brown had over 1400 all-purpose yards and 6 TDs. Given the numbers we’ve seen thrown out for other players - 1-1.5 doesn’t seem an outrageous ask.
  10. Bobby/Gerry spent 20 minutes this afternoon explaining that Texas was ‘all in’ but that Texas wasn’t just going to pay whatever it took to get a deal done.
  11. FWIW - Gerry/Bobby talked this afternoon that this LB was Muschamp’s top choice. It was posted earlier that this kid broke his arm in-game and finished out the game. What wasn’t said was that it happened in the first half - he came off the field to get it wrapped up and finished the first half. At halftime they threw some extra padding on him and he went out and played the entire second half. This was against Ohio St.
  12. Caught a ton of hero balls from that State Farm agent at Vanderbilt. Has 10.3 speed. Maybe he’s coming to play next to Cam…
  13. For the love of god how do you ignore a user on mobile.
  14. This is pleasant news. We needed a big blocking TE - this kid can do that and catch the ball when it’s very occasionally thrown to him.
  15. Texas is about to have a TE drafted for the third straight year.
  16. 6’4” 250 is a big LB. Does he play as an Edge/EDGE/DE/Robber/Bingo/Joker/etc…?
  17. How many of those players they signed were the best at their position? Indiana isn’t going after the Cam Coleman’s or trying to entice a Jayden Baugh into the portal. They’ve signed a few very good players - but none of those guys are top players being chased by multiple top teams.
  18. Even removing those 255 yards he had against Colorado - he still averaged 5.4ypc in the other 11 games.
  19. We aren’t getting a new WR coach. Jackson just signed a two year extension.
