Montero was streamed 147 million times in its opening week:

if this NUMBER 1 SMASH HIT KUNTry music song keeps on its trajectory, in 28 more weeks, when it's as old as Montero is right now, it'll still have been streamed 10 million times less than Montero was streamed in the first fucking week. LMFAO what a moron.

Rap is terrible these days. But my biggest issue with you is this: why write Kuntry and not Cuntry? It flows so much better.

Hey @Poe It Up, how should a president Desantis police advertising campaigns on a federal level? Are you in support of a new federal agency that could review companies' material before being published? Or should the president just have unilateral authority to punish companies when their speech offends the position?

Curious to get some thoughts from an anti- first amendment perspective.

Enjoy the rest of your time here, you don't have long.  I'm sure you'll be back, though, and easy to spot.

Why would I get banned? I’ve said nothing that warrants it. I guess I just need to let you guys sit around and nod your head in agreement. Seems boring, but fine.

Yep - I-35 runs along what was "East Avenue". In the 1928 the City of Austin Comprehensive Plan created a "negro district" on the East side of East avenue, making it effectively the only area of the city where public services or schools were available to black families. It also created zoning protection for certain areas of the city prohibiting various activities, while not protecting the East side.
The Red line below is East avenue.  The purple areas are non-white residential areas. The one on the far west of town is Clarksville, a freedman's colony which would hold out for a long time.

So, in 1935 the Federal Government creates the Home Ownership Loan Corporation. By policy, they do not guarantee loans in "hazardous areas", and depict those areas on maps with red lines. These guidelines were then adopted by other financial services companies - insurance, business lending, etc.

Do you agree that denying financing support to these areas likely suppressed the value of private property in them?

It has less to do with that and more to do with the breakdown of the nuclear family. It all traces back to fathers staying home and raising their children. Single income families will never escape poverty and the cycle just continues on and on.

OK, let's go through this and we both might learn something. I'll ask you some questions. None of them are trick questions. Just answer to the best you can.
You're familiar with Austin, right? I mean you passed through on your way to Blinn from Coahoma? There's an interstate that runs through the center of the city, I-35. Until recently, the property on the east side of I-35 was worth a fraction of the property on the west side.
Are you aware of this fact?

I used to live off of Riverside. I always used to laugh when people would say how bad of an area it is, I knew immediately that they’d never been to Houston.

2028 is going to make 2012, 2016 or even 1996 look so incredibly tame.  The GOP field will probably have a dozen serious candidates who think they have a chance, and I could see polling that doesn’t have any of them above %20 before the primaries.  Hell, Alan Keyes will probably jump in if he’s still alive.

We need Trump to fall over dead, that’s the only chance we Republicans have.

Real CRT wouldn't be understood by anyone that isn't an adult or nearly so, with some life experience.  You can certainly quibble with real live CRT.

What's being called CRT is not critical race theory.  It's factual history and an attempt to instill empathy for people that have been treated brutally in this country.

CRT has become a buzzword of sorts and it’s definitely misused. That’s entirely different from mocking the original theory that cause this nonsense, though.

Nobody gives a fuck if you are laughing. You are a stupid ignorant fuck and I don’t say that lightly. Or about many people. You come in here and make glib comments about something that has had life and death effects on your fellow man and won’t even bother to educate yourself on it.

And you are gleeful that demagogues are using graduate level theory to outlaw teaching our schoolchildren that black people suffered terrible physical violence and political and economic oppression at the hands of whites solely based on skin color.

I don’t doubt that you don’t hate black people. I don’t think anyone here is saying that.

Also I don’t believe you have a degree from any four year school let alone UT

I did read up on it, it’s just a dumb theory. It happens sometimes, they’re not all winners. We learned a decent amount slavery etc. and it was enough. Making everything about one’s skin color isn’t good for anyone.

C'mon these are some hot takes we're getting here.

    1. DeSantis* should be POTUS because of the work he's done for EDUCATION.... in FLORIDA.

    2. Laws that ban teaching and learning some subjects* are good.

    3. Emmy nominated television shows are bad*** because they have aren't the same as the video game they're based on.****

    *Remember him?

**Keep in mind Poe has failed to explain what that subject actually teaches.

***How could a person know the show is bad if they didn't actually watch it?

****I doubt Poe played the game if this is his opinion of the show, I think he just saw that on some social media reel.

I made it about 4 episodes I think. Part of it was that I already knew what was going to happen. I’m a huge gamer, well at least before I had children.

Ahh yes, the old "if we can outlaw it from being taught, me and my snowflake friends will all have the last laugh" defense.

I’m not laughing at you guys, I actually like y’all. My fiends are so much further to the right, it’s nice to see the other perspective.

A few people have asked what you think "it" is.  You have avoided doing so for two pages.

No, they want me to say I hate black people. It’s sad really, but I get it. It’s easier to put someone in a category that way. Type crt into google and see if you can make it a full page without bursting into laugher. It’s impossible.

You’ve proven your idiocy here multiple times before and you’re really confirming it here. This isn’t a thing.

You need to take your L and go back to the lake and tell your buddies.

It will never be a thing, on that we agree. It’ll be forgotten or laughed at it history books.

    That was the sack.

Poe is the one that fast-forwarded through Last of Us because Ron Swanson kissed another guy.

I can’t remember if I fast forwarded or not. It was gross, but really the show is just so bad compared to the game I stopped watching.

If it's bullshit and we live in a post-racist America, why are Black Americans still overrepresented in the negative aspects of our society and underrepresented in positive aspects of our society?

Unless, you think that certain races have some sort of inclination toward these negative aspects.

You're not saying that are you?

    Are you?

I haven’t noticed that they are, where are you seeing this? Maybe you hang out with some bad people.

That’s not what the theory is. It was never being taught in k-12. It was barely being taught in a masters program. It’s really a doctoral level theory.

You’re just confirming you have no idea what it is.

I know what it is and I understand why you have a vested interest in its legitimacy. It’s just bullshit unfortunately.
