I avoid it like the plague when I'm in town. Traffic is always a hot mess.

Dude should’ve had the blocks. Sean Elliott went through the all and counted 10. They shorted this ass.
That can be officially revised, can't it?

I use google pay all the time as it's just tied to my credit card. No bank involved. For bank phone payments and receipt of payments I find Venmo really easy and intuitive to use.
Just know that Venmo for some bizarre reason allows anyone to see your transactions if you don't set them to private.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. Super helpful.
Also, I was reading back a few pages and saw UK ETA thing. I had no idea that we had to do that. I can now show my wife that Surlyhorns is useful and not a TOTAL waste of time.
It's great. Through immigration in 30 seconds.

Oh Alan Reynolds, you ignorant slut.

I'm a big fan of Argentine actor Ricardo Darin. I rewatched his film Truman for the 4th or 5th time last night. It's about a guy in Madrid who's got a short time left before cancer takes him and his best friend now living in Canada comes back to visit for a few days and say his goodbye. It's melancholic but also humorous and sweet. Got 99% on RT.

Thoughts on a pre-season game:
Ace Bailey and Sensabaugh can fucking shoot. I really like Brice’s game.
The offense looks exceptionally better already. Lots of cutters being hit, wide open corner threes.
Defense is going to be a lot better this year, because they finally have a legitimate back-up center. Fucking finally.
Victor is playing so patient, doesn’t seem to be rushing anything, and is utilizing the mid-range. I don’t ever see him being a quality post player because of his height, but he can absolutely feast in the middle.
Harper is fucking awesome. That is all. On both sides of the court.
Vassell is taking what the defense was giving him, which is a nice change. Dude made it look easy out there. Just hit those wide open threes.
Carter Bryant has the most beautiful, non-producing jump-shot. That motherfucker is picture perfect and refuses to go in. That block attempt where his head was over the rim was insane.
Keep making threes, Julien.
Who the fuck is the Keldon Johnson fellow? Hustling his ass off, a natural on the block, making quality passes…I fucking love it.
Kornet is awesome. He’s already made such a huge impact on the offense with his screens. Dudes find themselves wide ass open. He’s a great passer, rebounder, and a serviceable defender. Love, love, love this pickup.
Excited to see the Fox, Castle, Harper backcourt. Might be running motherfuckers out of the gym. Speed personified.

But then, the rest of us aren't on video defiling the property we stayed in with 4 monkeys, 2 low-rent hookers, and a 50 gallon drum of Manwich sauce. You sick bastard.

I spent 5 days in Marrakech in January and the food may have been the best I've had in any country I've visited. And so cheap. It's very touristy, but charming.
Just watch out for the idiot mopeds careening through the narrow lanes.

Anyone got a good streaming link for those of us traveling. My VPN can't beat Youtube tv detection.
-
Watched Logan again last night. I'm usually not into the Marvel type movies, but I really enjoy this one. No end of the world nonsense.
-
Why did Tennessee let so much time run off?
-
People who veer wide entering the adjacent lane when making a turn.

It sucked at the time, but the Spurs ultimately dodged a huge cancerous bullet with his departure.

Sheeeeit. I did that many pleas in a couple days as an ADA.

So how many wins are we realistically expecting assuming a healthy roster?

The odds of getting struck are 1 in 1.2 million in a given year and 1 in 15,300 in a lifetime, the weather service estimates.
That's a pretty wild statistic from that story. 1 in 15k chance of being struck by lightning over a lifetime? That's not exactly super rare.

You don't need an Oyster Card for transport. Everything (tube, train, bus) takes phone pay. On buses, you don't tap out when exiting -- there is a fixed price and a max price per day.
I have withdrawn pounds from an ATM exactly one time in 2.5 months (haircut from shady turkish dude).I thought I read somewhere that there's a max charge per day (when using a credit card/phone tap) no matter how often it's used, but I may have misunderstood.

Headed there next week for a week. I appreciate whoever mentioned the UK ETA. That wasn't a thing last time I went. I love Penelope's food pics but I'm traveling on a tight budget this trip. So any favorite cheap eats spots? I ate a lot of sandwiches the last time I was there which were great.

Back in SA for a visit. My go to breakfast taco joint is Mary Lou's on McCullough in Olmos Park. Solid as always.
