  1. Yeah if he throws that to the S I think it’s a TD. He struggles with that mightily.
  2. Dart with the game on the line TWICE…takes a sack and throws a pick into quadruple coverage. What a massive pussy. L O L scratch that…FOUR times the game was on the line. He threw two picks on the same drive hahahahahahahaha. Yeah dart is who we want to Quinn to be more like.
  3. Less than ideal to take a sack right there, I was told only Quinn is a pussy like that with the game on the line. Weird.
  4. I will was looking at the stats, rourke hasn’t thrown for a single yard in the second half? That can’t be real he just competed a 12 yard pass. That’s it tho, 12 yards total
  5. How’s rourke’s deep ball looking today?
  6. I wasn’t humble bragging lol. Not many people see a college football program from the practice field is all I was getting at. Every back up qb we’ve had behind Quinn has started multiple games now. It isn’t crazy to think sark tells Quinn he needs arch to be ready. I guess I touched a nerve or something. It is what it is.
  7. I don’t get to watch longhorn practices I’ll be honest, but I played college football and all of our qb’s threw in a rotation to every wr we had every practice, it was called inside hull. Every db versus every wr in a rotation. I don’t think sark is dumb enough to think Quinn can’t get hurt. Now Once team drills started the 1’s were together but it was a simulation which was 60% speed at best. Nobody wanted to be the asshole that got an all American hurt being a hero. Which goes into my next point, you can’t simulate a really solid 2 minute drill in practice either, it’s just not possible. In the game there’s adrenaline, there’s legit fatigue, there’s crowd noise, errors that weigh on you, and the other team that wants to whip your ass in a way your teammates never do. If sark isn’t giving arch plenty of attention after having quinn injured every year he’s been here then sark is a dumbass. I think arch gets plenty of good reps in practice and is ready to go at a moments notice. Is that really a retarded take to think our back up qb gets good solid practice reps because our starter is injury prone???
  8. You should read your own shit for the past 3 years. Your portal OL takes were so shitty they became a running joke. But thanks for responding.
  9. I’m saying he was ready, he was prepared because he’s a manning and because he’s going to be bad ass. He still got his ass handed to him. Georgia was better than we were that night, every facet of the game. Period. Arch running with the 1’s wasn’t going to help his OL block.
  10. I have seen this sentiment a few times now. If arch doesn’t prep like he’s the starter every week then that’s on him, not sark. I doubt sark has super secret meetings with just Quinn and leaves arch out of them. Have you ever played any really competitive team sports that last 12-16 weeks? The offseason is where the real work is done. Practice during the week to prepare for the opponent is mental, it’s watching film and finding weaknesses. Half the team is dealing with some sort of injury that nobody but them knows about. The qb’s wear red jerseys ffs, they don’t go full speed and can’t mimic game speed if they tried. If arch wasn’t ready for Georgia because he didn’t take a snap with the “1’s” then he needs to learn to prepare better.
  11. Athletes that played wr, instead of wr’s who are athletes. It seems like a small thing but in reality it’s the difference between Mitchell/worthy and Nabers/thomas jr. I don’t know why that irritates people so much.
  12. It's been enjoyable to see your progression through this thread lol. You started middle of the road and now you're pretty squarely on the arch train. I think first quarter of kentucky if Quinn self sacks even once or panics then throws a 8 yard loss on a screen pass he should clearly throw away then Sark should trot arch out and never look back.
  13. 100% certain quinn will cost us a national championship this year to trust the corches.....L O L. Wyatt, I am rolling.
  14. I quote it twice....that's how important that statement is. I'm pretty sure mitchell struggles with this same problem.
  15. You're missing what I'm saying, roy williams was a freak athlete that didn't learn to play wr correctly because he didn't have to. If he had committed himself to learning the position entirely then he would have been just fine in the nfl. He shit on college cb's but once you get to the nfl it's about athleticism AND knowing how to play wr at a high level. Vince took off running in college at times when it wasn't necessary just because he could. Had he forced himself to read the defense and find the open wr more times he would have been a better nfl qb for it. There are so many examples it's not even funny, look up just about every raiders first round pick for the last 25 years. They love freakishly athletic guys who put up big stats in college but may not have been great "technicians."
  16. who is their # 1 receiver? Hopkins just got there, schuster is enigmatic and unreliable, rice has played in 4 games. Why can't he be their #1 if runs a 4.21 and he's elite? I derailed this thread so no need to answer, my bad @immamac
  17. wr's that need a lot of work tend to struggle when they get to the nfl, it's a good barometer for overall how solid they were as college wr's. You can absolutely ball out in college but not understand the nuances of your position. I'm saying if quinn has nabers, odunze, bowers, or any of the ohio state guys from the last 3 years then some of those bad throws are caught. IMO. Just an opinion man.
  18. Rice has only played in 4 games, worthy should be a poor mans tyreek hill in that offense with his speed. He should have about 15 more catches since he's been targeted 48 times. Pittman has had some kind of a back strain that has limited him physically, downs is tiny, and alec pierce seems like some kind of journeyman that a 6'2" 210 4.35 wr should easily beat out and take his catches from him. Nabers (shitty qb), odunze (shitty qb), Bowers (really shitty qb), brian thomas jr (mac jones now LOL)...they are doing just fine with terrible qb's....like quinn apparently lol.
  19. 48 targets and only 24 catches, that seems less than ideal. Upon further digging, 3 of his catches have resulted in 120 of his yards. 21 receptions for 187 yards running a 4.21 40. He's a great longhorn and I'm glad he played at Texas but elite is not a title I'd give him.
  20. 350 yards in 10 games lol. There's like 4 rookie receivers who have better stats with way shittier qb's in way shittier offenses than worthy, your ok and my ok are different clearly. I didn't say mitchell didn't make big plays but I'm saying the nuances of route running/blocking/proper body placement were lacking for his size and athleticism. It's possible to ball out in college and not exactly know how to play the position, I think the proof is the colts have a 3rd round wr from north carolina who they throw to more than mitchell and he's 5'9' 170lbs. These guys were such studs that the NFL team their on doesn't make them a focal point of their offense? OK
  21. You’ll catch a lot of hell for saying that but based off nfl evidence so far…that seems pretty accurate. Mitchell is really athletic but I’m not certain he knew how to even play wr while at Texas lol. I think helm is a better TE than sanders and worthy struggles to make an impact with Andy Reid/mahomes. I am over all this though, if Quinn struggles against Kentucky he needs to be pulled and let the arch era begin. Our defense is elite and probably the best I’ve seen in my lifetime. Our offense needs to make a couple plays here and there to move the chains and not turn it over. We play for a championship if Quinn wakes up or arch is who we think he is.
  22. I noticed this is your first post, I don't know if you have been lurking here for a while or if you're a BO&W sock but....
  23. Troy Aikman didn’t throw a great deep ball. Holy shit this thread is full of so much stupid it’s almost unbelievable. I’d say next we need somebody to claim Montana was panicky in the pocket like Quinn.
